Hello!! So first of all I hate to be the first to write a bad review on this business, the reason why I even tried it, was because of the great reviews, however when I got there, no one was at the reception area to greet the customers, I had actually called ahead of time to schedule an appointment and was told someone would give me a ride as well as provide me with the cost of my repair minus the parts since I was going to be providing those yet no one even knew I was going to show up or the specifics on my appointment. Secondly, after all the waiting for someone to come out and greet me, I got somewhere with the person in front, I got my ride home and was told that I would receive a call, after they were done inspecting my car which was going to be $50 dllrs just to inspect. After several hrs of waiting for the phone call Ken asks me what was wrong with my car and when would my car overheat, I explained to him my situation and he stated that first and foremost my car needed a clutch replacement that was going to cost me $1000 dllrs, I was like

GREAT, FAST, & FRIENDLY SERVICE As an out-of-town student, I had no idea where to go when I had car troubles. My parents back home found Ken Owens through Google and said to "try it." When I went to Ken Owens, he was very down to earth and ready to help. He understood my situation and was willing to work with my parents via the phone. I went again for a check up before a big road trip. His staff was equally friendly. His prices also matched that of the independent auto shop my family uses back home. His shop is conveniently located across from Bass Pro, and next to a BBQ restaurant. So if you do have a long wait, theres places you can go to satisfy your hunger and boredom. I highly suggest that locals, people passing through, and college students go to Ken Owens.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Ken Owens since 1996. On numerous occasions, he helped me make things right when I was first learning to work on cars. I still take vehicles there as Ive gotten too busy to tackle projects myself. There are a lot of good mechanics there who are able to minimize the time spent troubleshooting because they have so much experience with different engines and vehicles, and they know the common problems with various vehicles and engine designs.
