We had three cars that suffered hail damage from a storm this fall. My husband contacted Raymond to set up a time when we could bring them in and have them estimated and then repaired one at a time. When he scheduled, it was two weeks out to get our cars in. Two weeks to get full estimates done is a significant wait, but we wanted to bring our cars there to be fixed. We confirmed our plan was to have two cars estimated one day and then we would bring the third in that afternoon and have work started on the first. Once the first was repaired, we would bring in the second and finally the third so we wouldn’t be down to only one car. We brought two cars there as scheduled at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning and planned to bring in the third later that day. On Wednesday afternoon we were told the estimates were in process. No problem. Thursday came and went with no communication. On Friday morning my husband called the front desk as well as Steve to find out what the status was, as this was the third business day Raymond had both cars. He left a voicemail. We called again during lunch. It went to voicemail. I called in the afternoon and spoke with the front desk advising we at least needed to know the status of the estimates as it was going into the weekend, and we were still down to one car. I was again put through to Steve’s voicemail and left a message. I called later that afternoon and said we would be picking the cars up since we couldn’t get an answer. When we arrived to pick them up, we were informed that only one estimate had been done and that the other was still "in process" (hadnt even been started) as of late that afternoon. Fourteen days of waiting to get into the shop and another three business days without estimates being completed is unacceptable. When we showed up, there were no apologies, no explanation and only feigned confusion as to why we wanted to pick up the cars. To make matters worse, Raymond couldn’t be bothered to put down paper floor mats or wipe the door jambs on the car that was estimated, so our carpet mats and door liners were covered in dust and boot marks. The lack of communication, responsiveness and reliability in getting done what they said they would is why we decided to take our cars elsewhere to be fixed.

I contacted Raymond via email to inquire about getting some rust repair done. I received a prompt email response, and was told I could bring it in any time to have it looked at. Im overseas with the military right now, so I had to have a friend bring the car in. I had them bring the car in today. The service adviser wouldnt quote the issues that I had brought up, and told my friend that we primarily do collision, not rust repair and theres better places to bring it to for this. They only provided a quote for sanding the rust down and painting again, not replacing the quarter panel like I inquired about in the email. Pretty surprising for what should be a pretty straightforward fix: Cut some metal out, replace and repaint, replace and paint a side skirt, and repaint a bumper cover) considering the place is named Raymond AUTO BODY, not Raymond Collision Repair. Really put off by the attitude of the service adviser. Im really disappointed by the attitude displayed by the service adviser, and if thats the customer service allowed by the company, Ill take my business (cash, so no dealing with the insurance company either) elsewhere. UPDATE: Added a star due to the quick response by the company. It seems like theres been a misunderstanding somewhere, and to their credit, they responded to try and work it out. At the very least, they have pleasant and attentive people in the office. Ill be holding off on repairing the car for now.

I have an older 2004 Sable LS with low miles only 42K and got sideswiped. Being it was older I thought they would have a hard time matching the paint and the paint also had swirl or spiderweb marks from car washes. Well I had them do a "Buff Complete" to buff out the old paint and WOW! the car looks like new! The new paint matches perfectly and you cant even tell it was ever damaged. They stuck to the estimate and gave me correct and timely information giving several updates via email while the car was in their shop. Rachelle was great to deal with and all the staff treated me with courtesy and respect for my feelings of having my car smashed even though it is an older car and not so expensive as most of the luxury cars and trucks I seen them working on. Hats off to a great company who does great work with great customer service. I will never go anywhere else.

We have been hit twice at the corner of Lexington and Energy Park Drive. Both times, we took our cars to Raymond Auto Body and had exceptionally good experiences. In the first case, our car was totaled, but they were very good at explaining why. Our main problem was with the other partys insurer (you are NOT in good hands with All State). In the second instance, they did an excellent job estimating and fixing the damage. They also worked well with the party who hit us and our insurance company, State Farm. Having a good insurer (both yours and the person who hits you) makes a huge difference. Raymond does great work and they are easy to work with, in our experience.

I must say that its not often that you expect and receive such premium service from an auto body shop. But that is exactly what I received from the first phone contact to the actual work being done - premium, typically high quality services. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly, accommodating and super helpful - ultimate professionals. Especially Jason, he really took great, personal care in seeing that my repairs were completed quickly, and of the highest quality. As Im a fairly new resident to Minnesota, I didnt have a trusted auto body repair contact - but now I do. The Raymond Auto Body team offers superb services, all the time, every time.

Absolutely thrilled with our experience! Jason picked out vehicle up, kept me in the loop about progress, went to bat for us with Geico, and delivered our vehicle to our house when complete! The repainted and repaired fender, bumper, and rim on our Beetle was like-new from the factory. Their team had our car detailed inside and out before its return and I was even pleasantly surprised to see the engine compartment had been detailed too! What a nice surprise. I felt like Id just picked it up from the dealership brand new. Thanks Jason, Damon, and everyone for a super experience. We now have our body shop of choice in the twin cities!

I walked into the shop and saw Porches, Shelby Mustangs, and other very unique, prized vehicles. Of course, that doesnt make a great body shop, but it does show the level of trust that Raymonds has garnered throughout the years. I took my vehicle in to get some minor damage repaired, and they handled everything very professionally and kept me up-to-date on the processes as well. They were very friendly, competitive in their pricing, and easy to work with. Not only that, the detailing that they did before I picked it up was impressive! I highly recommend Raymonds to anyone in the metro area.
