I had the worst experience here. All I needed was an inspection and I ended up getting service I didn’t want. They made me pay $40.00 when I was originally suppose to pay only $12.00 and then they said that basically my car was falling apart and needed about $200 to get it fixed. He called me on the phone to tell me all of this and being a girl I didn’t understand the car lingo. I handed the phone to my boyfriend who got hung up on because the guy thought he was talking too much. When I went in to pick up my car the guy (Rick was his name) told me it was my fault that I didn’t know what was going on and that he thought I was dumb. I can’t believe this place would run a business like that. It is his job to inform the citizens on what is happening with their cars and if there is a miscommunication he should handle it in a professional manner. Has this business ever heard of customer service? I don’t think so. I think they should have an in-service on how to treat and respect customers. NEVER GO HERE!

I have been back for the third time in 3 weeks. One of the three was a different automobile. The other issue was completely unrelated to the first. I have been very impressed with the Assistant Manager, Tim, in addition to the other employees. They are all very courteous and informative. When my first bill required more work than I was hoping for, they showed my fiance the items and explained the need for the extra work. My fiance had originally warned me that the extra work may be required due to me neglecting an item in need of repair weeks ago. I have overheard other conversations going on while waiting for my automobile and was quite impressed as to how the person was spoken to and length of time spent going into detail.On my last visit there, I even met the owners, which just reinforced my good feeling of doing business with this type of company, even more. I will never go back to DOBBS again.

If places like this are going to fight the stereotype they have, they need to quit trying to upsell you and when they find something wrong, they need to do a clear job of explaining what is wrong, what needs to be done to fix it, why it will cost what it will, and they should send you away with that info. I went in for an oil change, found out my radiator was cracked and I had an oil leak through a valve cap or something. I opted to not fix it that day and the print out they gave me didnt list any of the repair suggestions. They were supposed to do a 27 pt. inspection, but the print out didnt have anything listed for my tire treads, wiper conditions, etc. and I am left to wonder - what do I need to do to keep my car up? And how can I price it fairly when I dont remember all the confusing explanations they gave. Im done going to these types of places.

Worst car repair shop ever.. The manager of this place was very arrogant and rude. I tried this place as it was very close to where I live but never going back. While dropping my car in the morning I told the manager that I need it back at 4pm as I have to go somewhere and he said ok. I called at 3.30 pm and he said they havent started working on it and I can come to pick it up. I went there and he tells me that it is now in the garage and is being worked on.. Ridiculously unbelievable it was!!!

These guys are awesome, they are the ONLY shop in St. Louis that I trust with my car. The guys there are very honest hard working guys, they wont up-sell you junk you dont need or half a** your repairs. They get you in and out quickly too. I know, personally, all these guys are huge into Hondas, so if you have a Honda or Acura, theres nothing they cant do. Saved tons of time and money by going here when I cant fix it myself. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

I went here for a car sputtering on acceleration. diagnosed with a bad catalytic converter $800. Didnt fix the problem. Will not take my car back there for them to misdiagnose my problem and charge me more again. Turns out... it was a $40 oxygen sensor. Hey guys how about trying the least expensive part first? Had to fix my car myself. At least they told me how much it was going to cost up front, but too much.

I stopped in in a pinch after I got my car jumped and could get it into the shop. Tim was very helpful and honest. He made sure to price check with me before putting a new battery in (as I had asked) and do an oil change. My car was in and out much quicker than I expected. I truly appreciate the dedication to customers I experienced today. I will most definitely be back!

I highly recommend this Meineke location. My appointment was handled with the utmost professionalism and courtesy by Tim, the Assistant Manager. My muffler was replaced quickly and the price was very reasonable. My car is quieter now than it was when I purchased it!! I am extremely satisfied!
