Went there for an oil change and the manager advised me to get the radiator fluid flushed since I have never done it and it was on sale, so I did. Three months later, I went back for an oil change and the manager came back out after the oil change was completed and showed me the tray of the fluid colors, and showed me my radiator fluid was very dirty and should be flushed out! I firmly told him that I already got this done last time! So either they didnt do it last time and just charged me, or since he didnt look at my past history of work done they just say that it needs to be done, regardless if it needs it or not. What a ripoff, what a scam. What else do they tell you your car needs and doesnt really need it just to get extra money out of you? I will never come back here because I cant trust them now.

Terry the manager has always taken care of us. I know they sometimes bring out that tray of fluids when we get our oil changed and I am usually old-school about that but I can tell you that they recommended we flush the transmission on my wifes car that has over 100K miles and believe it or dont, a shifting problem she was having went away. They have never done anything we have not approved and always are fast and good about calling when things come up and when they are done. Car repairs suck and you always are looking for someone you trust. Go here and ask for Terry.

Want to be talked down to, this is the location to be at! Rude and disrespectful employees!! TWICE!! My Story: Went in for an inspection, 1 fail, they offered to "look at it" for 60$ to find the problem. I left there and fixed it myself! Returned for re-inspection and they refused to because I did not drive enough miles for my system to reset, which to me means nothing because I know that I had fixed it so what does driving more miles mean. And they never saw the odometer and only assumed. They should assume less and do more because I will NEVER return!

I have been a Car-X customer at the St. Peters location for several years and have always been completely satisfied with their service. They are knowledgeable, courteous and have always met my needs even at times when my requests were probably a little unreasonable, They have always gone the extra mile in treating me as an important, valued customer, I was dismayed to see some of the negative reviews on the location and without hesitation, would recommend this location as the best place I have found to service my car,

My problem with this car service center was how easy they lie, so it is impossible to believe whatever they claim the problem is. Last year I charged my air conditioning fluid in this location and the manager offered me to get a life time warranty on my air conditioning fluid by paying 30$ more. This year I went back there and requested a recharge and the manager (same person who sold me the above package) looked me in the eye and said he will never make such a comment! I was surprised how easily he could lie

Nobody better out there. Courteous, helpful, thorough and speedy. Im extremely weary of auto service. I know cars and expect honesty. These folks have done their jobs the way they are supposed to be done. One complaint dropped them to 4 stars... Shop fees are insulting. All auto centers tack them on, I know, but that doesnt make it right! It doesnt happen in the grocery store, at department stores, etc. If you want to charge a shop fee, hide it in your prices. That $6.40 was a small robbery and I dont like it.

The manager Terry tried tacking on another $500 dollars worth of work that did not need to be done. I double checked with a family mechanic just to be sure. I talked to a friend about it a few days later and he told me Terry did the same thing to his girlfriend. Apparently this is common practice for this shop. Im surprised they have any good reviews.
