Went a little while back for an oil change and overheard a conversation between the manager and a lady customer about changing a headlight bulb. I thought that the price was ridiculous for such an easy job. In the parking lot I asked the lady if she had already purchased the bulb and if she had that I would put the new bulb in for free. The manager stormed out and said, "I dont need you selling your labor on my lot." I stated that I thought the charge was ridiculous and told him I was doing it for free. He immediately stopped the employee working on my oil change and refused service. Its a mixed blessing. I dont trust that Midas and I get my work done at Valvoline now. Not friendly management, ready to take your money.

This USED to be the place to go. I went in for a smoke test on my car and was charged $109.50. When the old manager worked there I took in a different car for a smoke test and they replaced the hose all for $37. They wanted to charge me $169 bucks for a $30 gasket. 39.99 for a vacuum hose and 39.99 for the labor to put it on. I miss Pat the old manager of the store. I will no longer be going to Midas for any of my car services. Ive never wrote a review on anything before but this kind of treatment is shameful. Ive spent thousands of dollars at that store. I used to tell everyone that had car problems to go there... Now I will be telling them to STAY AWAY!!!

I waited for 3 hours to get just a Oil Change done, the the manager tried telling me i had bad breaks and needed new ones so i took a look at them and there was nothing wrong with them they still had all there PADS, I will never go to this midas again the service sucks.. and on top of that i paid 50 dollars for the oil change and my Change oil light is still ON on my dash... Worst idea ever to go to this midas.

CAUTION CPSTUMERA. Told me my brakes will coat me $120 they raised the spruce 3 times and I end up paying $370. I asked to put the wheels back so I can go to different place they refused to do so . The brakes make noise all the time . mechanic was very very rude and was lying as in am not from Missouri and I really needed the brakes changed other wise I could do it my self at home

My experience at Mid Rivers Midas is wonderful, since the new manager Mike has taken over. He has done such an improvement with the business, he knows what he is talking about with car issues, and he doesnt just look at the dollar, he cares and gives the honest truth about what is needed for repairs.

This place is a joke came in for an inspection they would not pass. Need new front tires that the tread was fine after get new tires the same day. They would not take two seconds to go outside and look to see if I had new tires. They were mad I got tires somewhere else and made a big deal of it.

We calles ahead to get a quote to fix my muffler. They said it should take 30 minutes to fix and cost 80 bucks. That is exactly what happened. Other places we called wouldnt even give a quote over the phone. The staff was friendly and the service was fast.

The guy doing the inspection on my car just took off both rear tires & dropped them from around 5 in the air. Ive been here 50 minutes now & hes looking around the shop, leaning on my car, & texting on my phone. I guess my time is invaluable.

DO NOT GO HERE!! They told us $99 to have the brakes done. Then when we went in...ooops...its $99 for the pads only. $250 for back brakes to be done.

Has saved me many times. Extremely friendly staff who wont try to milk you for money. Best mechanics in town.
