Though the people working at the post office are kind and helpful, the postal service itself it horrendous. I was supposed to have garunteed delivery of my package yesterday. I was home all day and waited to receive it. After post office closed I got an update on my package delivery telling me it was at the post office ready for pick up since 10:00am YESTERDAY. Yet, I had not received any slip in the mail box. Today, I had to be away from the house for 1 hour and they decided thats when they would deliver my package, but since I wasnt home, they left a package claim slip in the mail. I dont know why they didnt just leave the package like normal and why they didnt do their job in the first place by delivering it to me yesterday as promised. Now, I will be unable to pick up my package until Monday.

I have not had a negative experience at this location, and in fact appreciate the friendliness displayed by the counter workers, particularly Penny. All are friendly and patient but Penny is able to be consistently kind and in a good mood. Many times Ive been having a bad day and felt better after experiencing her up beat attitude. I have often wondered if perhaps she goes home and punches holes in her walls to relieve the frustration she must have built up from the occasional disrespectful customer with whom she deals. It must take a lot of control to constantly be kind and considerate, disolayng a helpful attitude towards each customer. Lines are sometimes long but move quickly and all the workers are receptive to any needs or requests. Ill take this PO over any in surround areas.

3 times in the past that Ive been home waiting on a package and havent received it. My tracking status was updated stating my "address isnt valid, return to sender"... no one even tried to deliver it. Yesterday, I had 2 packages on the truck from the exact same store. 1 delivered and the other didnt stating they cant deliver to a PO Box so I have to pick it up at the post office. I dont have a PO Box! The only reason Im giving 3 stars is because every time I call the guy who answers is very helpful and always tracks down my packages for me. I think theres an issue with the package sorting because Ive been told a couple of times that my Box was put on the wrong truck for delivery.

Ive lived here for 13 years now, and will unfortunately be moving across the state line to Kansas. This post office is fantastic. Ive sold a ton of stuff on Amazon and eBay, and shipping from this location is outstanding. Items are delivered to either coast in 2-3 days. Starting out, they offered ways to save on shipping cost by asking a couple of did you know questions, which was incredibly helpful. Staff is always friendly and knows me by name. Ive seen them go out of their way many times to go above and beyond to help patrons. A lot of people like to complain about the government or the mail, but this place is run very well, and those complaints do not apply here.

HELPFUL, CARING CLERKS, ALWAYS FAST SERVICE! I had been waiting two weeks for a package. I finally decided to track it and realized I had accidently typed my zip code wrong. The tracking said it was in Belton. I drove to Belton to see if I could pick my package up. After showing the clerk the tracking I pulled up, he found my package! I told him I was happy the package was there because I ALWAYS get good customer service. The clerks are quick and if the line is long, they get more clerks to open more lines. Thank you again, Belton post office for finding my rather small package.

They will not stop changing my address and forwarding my mail to my work, my dads house, and every other address I have lived at for the last 20 year. The only place they will not send my mail to is my house. I also cannot shop online anymore because the idiot postman keeps leaving the packages outside the door to my WORK and they keep getting stolen. Probably wouldnt happen if they would just send the damned things to the address I have lived at for the last 3 years. I have had to fill out the damned change of address form 10 times and for some reason they still keep changing it.

Once again I get home early to receive a package and get a "no recipient home" notice instead of someone actually checking to see if I am home. This time I even put a big sign on the door and left the garage door open but that made no difference. There is no way Fedex or UPS would tolerate this yet its something the post office seems okay with. It is an unacceptable inconvenience to me to keep going to the Belton post office for packages that I can readily receive.

Never got a knock on the door or rang the doorbell been here all day and have a "Sorry we missed you letter in the mail box" and the letter said the todays date is 3-27-17 and its 3-25-17.. Thats falsifying their letter when delivered and couldve hinder something if it was really important and needed for court or something just important! They need to get their staff under control an monitor them .

They mark your package as delivered, yet dont deliver it for up to 4 days later. We have proof of mail fraud and a package that never existed that they supposedly delivered to an adress down the road, and they refuse to investigate the mail fraud. Said they would put it in a data base and 5 more frauds down the line theyll investigate. We are turning over all proof to my lawyer and the police.

People are always friendly when Ive gone here. I called in after a package I had been tracking said Recipient Not Home (needed signed for). I was home but didnt get a knock or doorbell ring. :( The office sent the carrier back to my house to deliver it that day. Was not expecting that! Thank you! (I dont think the mail lady was too thrilled though)

For the size of area this post office serves, its customer foyers needs to be enlarged. If their not busy, great and friendly service. Very small foyer and limited counter help causing delays in customer service. Parking lot is often crowded. No automated stamp or supply vending machines available for after hours service.

The Belton, MO post office has consistently provided bad service for the past several years. I have to makes sure I am tracking my packages every step of the way to ensure I receive them. They get very defensive when questioned. I have had at least 5 packages mis delivered in the past year or so.

Still have not received my MISSOURI state license after 4 months. I HAVE ALSO REQUESTED CHANGE OF ADDRESS MULTIPLE TIMES AND NEVER RECIEVED IT. HORRIBLE BUSINESS, very very incompetent business.

I have the worst luck getting my own mail in timbercreek area. They should pay my neighbors for their time delivering to me.
