I was switching drivers an older model car on the way to work after dropping my son off at school and the car self locked with keys in the ignition and car running on a morning when it was 10 degrees outside. I called Popalock which was recommended to me. Internet add boasted a local shop/number and service within 15-30 minutes. I was on hold to a national answering service for 8 minutes, another 10 minutes on the phone getting service arranged and was told 15-30 minutes to arrive. After more than 30 minutes I called and again was on hold, then was told they are on their way but she refused to have driver call me with ETA telling me that 15-30 minutes was just an estimate. The driver then called and said he was more than 20 minutes out but couldnt guarantee a time but to wait by the car (in freezing temperatures). I called a competitor and from the time I made the call until my car was unlocked was 15-20 minutes, very pleasant and courteous. Will never use Popalock again and will let my insurance agent know not to recommend anymore. Use a local service instead.

When I called to get help, I was quoted $15 service call and STARTING at $35 for unlock and that someone would call me back in 5 min. I did get a call and was told that he would come in 20-25 min. After 45 min., I had to make several calls to cancel but each call was a different # and also a long distance one. I believe I was blocked because the connection was always terminated. I finally got through and was able to cancel after calling several #s from Google. While waiting for a local locksmith who, by the way, quoted me a flat fee, I get another long distance call and within seconds a guy drives up in a regular car and when I asked where he was from, he wouldnt answer. I said I cancelled a while ago and to keep moving. He said there was a $45 service call! I said absolutely not and he moved on. Did they think they could get any money from me? I guess they thought it was worth a try. Where are all those long distance calls from? Pop A Lock is kinda shady.

I work at Creighton University, and recently saw a Pop a Lock truck driving what appeared to be recklessly on campus. He was going the wrong way on a one-way road, pulled a U-turn and was clearly stopped and on his phone when I started to pass, then he pulled out in front of me causing me to slam my brakes. I leaned on my horn, but he took off at a high rate of speed. The next day, I called in a complaint. Within twenty minutes the local manager Jeff called back, first apologizing, but then saying he researched the dispatch records. The reason the driver pulled a U-turn is because he realized he was the wrong way on a one way road. He was on his phone getting a call that a child was locked in a freezing car in Shadow Lake, and that’s why he ignored my horn and drove off at a high rate of speed. My faith in this company is completely restored. No one likes getting locked out. But if you do, these are the guys to call.

10:55 - called pop-a-lock, received a 52 dollar quote. 11:00- a moth flew in the house, abby screamed, dylan woke up all the neighbors. 11:05 - uhm, still waiting. 11:11 - made a wish (the wish was to redo the last 2 hours) 11:12 - were sitting in the driveway 11:12 - just received a call from ted, seemed very pleasant and nice and excited to do his job. 11:13 - rachel is a "little gassy," abby projectile spit her gum out so hard she farted. 11:14 - ted arrived 11:17 - abby made a bad joke 11:18 - ted asked if we had already tried to unlock the car. We lied and said we had not. 11:19 - he did the magic on the car and tada 11:20 - ted did the impossible and unlocked the car 11:21 - we paid ted and sent him on his way with merry wishes and farewells 11:22 - ted continued on with his wonderful life these events took place between 10:55 pm and 11:22 pm

The woman I was just on the phone with was not pleasant at all. She was very rude and had a smug and unpleasant tone of voice and attitude. HER LACK OF KINDNESS AND MANNERS ARE THE TEASON I WILL NEVER CALL NOR REFER POP-A-LOCK AGAIN. Management should think about the reason for a call, such as, an auto lockout- what kind of damper it puts on a persons day, in relation to the kind of service that they are in business for. With that being said, my night and morning have been hell because of a stupid mistake made by me- I call for help from a professional and all I get is rudeness. I am not ok with that kind of customer care or business.

I was visiting from Las Vegas when I locked myself out of my mothers van. I was stressed as I needed to get to the airport to catch my flight back. Response time was great; I even had time to spare to catch my flight. The locksmith was very pleasant and considerate to my situation. I have never received that kind of service in Las Vegas from AAA which I normally use. Next time I get in a bind I know I will call Pop-A-Lock first! I highly recommend Pop-A-Lock of Omaha, they rock!

Dropped my keys as I was getting out of my car while simultaneously shutting the door. They ended up on my seat with the door locked. Called Pop A Lock who quoted me 52 bucks and said it would be 35 mins. I called at 10:33pm and Charles from Pop A Lock showed up at 11:12. He was professional, patient, and courteous. Highly recommend these guys if you get into a jam.

First time needing a locksmith and glad I contacted these guys first. I needed some help getting into my truck lock box as I lost the keys quite some time ago. They didnt try to overcharge me or anything like that. He just popped it open and gave me suggestions on the best way to fix the lock and how to replace it. Will definitely call them again if I need help.

Very professional. Showed up five minutes uses before the estimated time. Chose them because they are trusted, I almost used some 15$ in 15 minutes site but soon realized it was a scam after being called 5 times by different people asking for the address saying they were in route and would not get an estimate until they showed up. Stay away! Well worth the money

Pop A Lock is a life saver. I was supposed to be heading out of town for a funeral when my key wouldnt turn in my ignition. I was just about to pay someone else and arm and a leg to come fix it when I got a call back from Pop A Lock. They quoted me way under what every other place was going to charge. I cant thank them enough for their services.

Jeff came out to my house within one hour to re-key my locks. He was professional, courteous, personable, and knowledgable. It was a refreshing experience. The prices were reasonable and Im glad I didnt fall into some of the con job traps that show up when you google "Omaha locksmith". I highly recommend Pop-A-Lock.
