I rate Saylor Safe & Lock, Inc. five stars for their quick, excellent service, and their very fair prices. I bought a home about a year ago and didnt have keys for the garage doors. I took the locks up to Saylor thinking Id just drop them off and fork over a twenty. The gentleman at the counter took a look, said hed be right back, and about two minutes later brought me back a matching set of keys for my garage doors. The price? About eight dollars. Much cheaper than Id anticipated! More recently, I took all of my exterior deadbolts and keyed handles to Saylor to have them matched to a single key. The gentleman behind the counter said hed get me fixed up right away, and after about a ten minute wait, I now have one key to all of my exterior locks. The price? Thirty-eight dollars! In short, Saylor Safe & Lock, Inc. does business the right way and treats their customers fairly and with respect. Their prices are extremely fair. Id anticipated paying much more on both of my visits and was pleasantly surprised both times. They also sell a variety of different safes, and locks ranging from old-school to high tech, and they can accommodate automotive locks, as well. Furthermore, theyre a local business thats been around since my childhood growing up in this area. I strongly encourage anybody in need of Locksmithing services to support this local business. I will definitely be doing so. They have a customer for life!

This company is an absolute joke. I called a couple weeks ago to have a safe moved from one location on property to another. They came out to move and from the moment they got out where complaining as if they did not want to move it. They kept saying they didnt have the right equipment. After getting it out of the first house and to the new house they couldnt figure out how to get it in and said they needed another piece of equipment that was broke and would have to come back. This being 2 hours after they started. I asked when they would be back and they told me the next week. After I had to call back to reschedule the lady on the phone said it would be Friday. Which for me was not soon enough so she said she would move some things around and be there Wednesday between 1-3. At 2:45 on Wednesday I called to confirm they where still coming and the man that had come out the first time answered (Greg I believe) he told me the tool was still not fixed and they would not be out today. He seemed agitated that I called. I asked him if he thought I should call someone else to move the safe and he said yes that would be good and Hung up on me! I cant believe this company has been in business so many years and is run like it opened yesterday. I remember getting keys cut there 30 years ago. What happened? Very rude unprofessional company.

Lightning-Fast Delivery on SAFE !! (24 hours after the purchase, ...March 9th,2011) ...FIRST, I found out you may be able to purchase a safe for cheaper on the internet ,but there is usually a two-to-three week wait (two weeks to have the item built and another 3-5 days for shipment), since most internet sites have to have them ordered from the Manufacture and dont seem to ever stock them) , AND you will also be hit with OUTRAGEOUS shipping costs that are thru-the-roof, ...making the final purchase price way above items LIST price ! ...THEN you will have to find someone to install the safe for security purposes. Saylor Safe & Lock Inc. has a huge stock, and definitely had mine in stock !! (NO WAITING once I walked in, with great and informative sale people)...Thanx Charles :) All in all, Saylor Safe&Lock IS the place to purchase a safe, with their standard 20% discount and cheap installation/delivery charge,... they cant be beat. They have been in the Cypress area since 1985, so that tell ya something . I am a happy-satisfied-customer, with no affiliation with this company, and rate this place 100% AAAA++++ !!! Ive been doing business with this company since the 90s and theyve always been reputable. But I am quite disappointed. I went in to buy a replacement electronic lock and the salesman overcharged me by over $100 over the price I was originally quoted. I went ahead and paid it but when I got home I checked online and that particular Brand and model only sells for $89 on Amazon. I was charged $233! I left a message and hope to update this review with a positive outcome. Ive installed three electronic locks before successfully and this one is also not working right.

Called for pricing for programming on a Honda key fob, the guy quotes me $70 dollars to program the key and $70 to program the car?! So the first programming I have to pay for is useless unless I program the car? It should be programmed the first time. I called John Eagle Honda right after and asked them if i needed two different programs. He said no, and their price is $85 to program. CROOKS!

My daughter lost the keys to her car, so went up to get a replacement, they sold me a $80 key and said it might need to be programmed. So come home and sure enough it did need to be programmed. So call them to have someone program it and they said they dont have anyone. So basically they sold me a $80 key that is worthless without programming. Very unprofessional.

Great experience today once again with Saylor today. Our company has used them for the lock and key systems in our last three office buildings. Simply would not waste the time to go anywhere else. Plus, after the Depot/Hardware stores have told you they dont have the key blank you need, Saylor will. Excellent service.

Bought a used car and it only came with one key. Called the Ford dealer and they wanted $150 to cut and program an Expedition key. Saylor did it for half that, and in only 10 minutes. Saylor not only saved me money, but time as well. If you need one of these keys, by-pass the dealer and go straight to Saylor.

Went to get a key cut. Knew it had to be done by Saylor to get it right. Drove across town and was not disappointed. They even checked to ensure my key was the proper one (chipped). They cut my key and had me on my way in no time. Once I arrived home, it fit and worked perfectly. Another job well done..

Do not go to another locksmith. I had a very odd key. They were able to make me duplicates, but only after hand filing and caliper measuring; and didnt charge me until they knew it would work. The effort for customer service from a business is very rare these days.

I tried to have a residential key duplicated at two different hardware stores with no success. Saylor Safe and Lock made a key quickly that worked perfectly - and they explained why the other keys didnt work. They are friendly and professional.

Great place, I had to get a Givi key cut and tried several places before I came here with no success as no one carries Givi blanks. These guys didnt have it either but they worked with the blanks they had and it worked perfectly.
