Absolutely terrible experience. Did not show up during the arranged time frame, got a call with 5 minutes to spare saying he was going to be 40 minutes late. Very similar to trying to work with Comcast. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Avoid. Once I get a locksmith that can make their appointment time, Ill either edit this or re-post with a recommendation. Here is the whole story on my experience with this company: I attempted to schedule with them by email, first they told me to schedule 8 - 10 or 3 - 5. I said 3 - 5 would work. Then they came back and said, sorry we meant the latest would be 1 - 3 or 2 - 4. So I took the 2 - 4 slot and put in for the time off from work to meet them. Day of, the tech called me at 3:55 saying he would be 40 minutes late. I had already made plans and had to leave at 4:30 so that wouldnt work. He told me I would have to reschedule. While trying to reschedule Im told the earliest would be one week later, same time frames. I told them there was no way Im taking more time off to attempt to meet with them, and asked if they could meet me after 5 when I got home from work? They said absolutely not, even though they totally just screwed me on the original time slot. I then asked if they would at least offer a discount. I was offered a 10% discount and they would send someone the next morning (although they originally said nothing open for another week). Sorry, what would amount to being about $20-$30 discount for a full day of work wasted for these people is not even close to what I was looking for. I said no thanks, and that was that. The girl on the phone did apologize, for what its worth.

Just moved into a new condo and wanted to be sure that we had all the locks re-keyed. Called Nonstop and they were able to come out first thing Saturday morning (2hr window between 8a-10a). The tech arrived at 9 and was to work right away. I wanted to have the locks re-keyed as they are some very heavy-duty locks that were well over $150 to replace, that also meant they were a little trickier to re-key. TIm (the tech) was able to re-key one lock that I thought for sure would need to be replaced, though it took him longer than we both expected he was able to get it done and was able to save me a lot in replacement costs. He also replaced 2 locks that were clearly not meant to be used for securing an exterior door. Tim was also kind enough to explain what he was doing me while working, which was great because I can use that info in the future. I did have to call that evening as after he left I couldnt get one of the locks to open once the door was shut (we tested it with the door open and for whatever reason the extra pressure from the door being closed caused the lock to freeze up), they sent someone out the very next morning free of charge to fix it (just needed a hidden screw and the lock cylinder to be tightened). While it was still not cheap to have to have the locks re-keyed, it was definitely cheaper than replacing them all and it saved me the headache of having to install new locks for the old ones that arent standard.

I cant express how pleased I was to find Nonstop Locksmith. Recently, the master key to one of the main doors to our condo building entrance would not work, and of course, this was discovered at 4:45 PM on a work day, Nonstop was able to schedule Chris to meet me at my place within an hour and a half, at a very reasonable cost for after hour service. Chris not only was very friendly and knowledgeable, but also very honest and detailed the minor issue causing the lock not to work and advised on preventive maintenance we can do on our own to prevent, and that we would not require a new lock. I hope to not require locksmith service, but will call on Nonstop Thanks, Ken

We just moved to a new house in the suburbs and Non-Stop was able to get to our house in short notice to rekey all of our exterior doors as well as add a deadbolt to one of our doors. Chris came early Saturday morning and was very professional and courteous. He got through all of the work quickly and even taught me a little bit about the different locks so that we can make sure we use the same keys if we were to ever replace any of the doors in the future. You could definitely tell that he cared about us as clients and even did a few extra things to make sure our doors closed and locked smoothly. Wed definitely work with them again!

I would like to say how pleased I was with Nonstoplocksmith. I had an urgent situation last week regarding a business trip that could of been a disaster! I was leaving to catch a plane early morning and accidently locked my keys in my Apartment. I was frantic to find a service that could help me asap. Asked a neighbor if she knew who I should call. Without hesitation she recommended Nonstop Locksmith in Chicago. Called and actually a live friendly voice answered. Within a few moments I had a call from their technician and was at my location within 20 minutes! Wow I made my flight just in time :) Thank you Nonstop!

Working with Nonstop Locksmith company was an exceptionally wonderful experience! I moved to Chicago about a year ago and I found this company on Google. They installed and upgraded my intercom system to a brand new one called DoorKing. Michael- the technician who did my estimate, was excellent. He knew exactly what I wanted and was very thorough when answering all of my questions. The entire process went smoothly and quickly--from the pleasant young lady who booked my appointment over the phone to the day of installation. I will definitely be contacting them again for any future needs!

I live in an old house built in 1900s and renovated in the early 20s. Many of the locks are still old and through the years people lost the original keys. It is a shame to replace the old locks with new; at least that is my opinion. At Non-Stop Locksmith, I was able to bring my old lock and technician found me the right key within a few hours. I got some more old locks around the house, so I will make sure that these locks are being used again, like they were used over 80 years ago. Off course they are able to help you too with locks and keys from the 20th century if you need some.

Not to long ago i moved to my new apartment. It was great but there were a couple of the doors where there were locks but no keys. We asked the landlord if he had them and they said they never had it either. Some of the keys missing were for the bedroom and the bathroom. So i felt it was important for me to have them. I Google d where i could get help and it lead me to Nonstop locksmith. Easier than 1 2 3 they were in and out fast. i was very impressed on how efficiently they work from the dispatcher to the technician. Great service all around.
