**Newly updated review - Thank you for your quick response and resolution to this matter. I will be doing business with you again and I will be referring business to you.** Had previously posted a negative review based on my experience at the West Charleston location. Within hours of posting my comment, the owner,Eytan Klepach, emailed me to see what he could do to make the problem right. I thereafter received a phone call from Eytan apologizing for the way his employee handled the situation and offered to replace the damaged computer. This is not what I expected ! Eytan was very straight forward and explained that he already looked into the problem and was aware of everything that happened. He told me to come to the store the same afternoon he he would replace my computer. He patiently listened to me vent my frustration and calmly said he understood completely and said let me know when you want to come by. Being skeptical as I am I expected to get some refurbished computer. When I went to meet with Eytan the next day, he came out, shook my hand and handed me a brand new sealed in the box computer which was better than the one I brought in to have repaired. Eytan and I sat down and spoke about the incident and he informed me that his is a family business and he was appalled at how the situation was handled. I also run my own small business and could appreciate the concerns and frustrations Eytan expressed in running a business dependent on employees. I can not say enough about the incredible professionalism of Eytan Klepach and smart Fix. His pride in his business earned my respect and future business. Went to the W. Charleston location. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE TO FIX YOUR COMPUTER!!. Brought my four month old laptop in to have them repair a broken power jack. I paid $35.00 to have them look at the problem. I waited over a week and never heard from them. I stopped in a week later and spoke to a repair tech who told me they tried to repair the jack and he built a custom attachment to hold the power jack to the case. After his custom job the computer would not work so they had to order a part. I asked him why no one called to inform me and he had no answer but to look at his computer and call his manager. Then I was told the part was on order and would be in in about 8 days. The tech was very rude and asked me if he had to call me to check on how my life was doing I assume this was in response to my question as to why I was not called to inform me as to the status of the repair. The next day I got a call form the same tech and he told me they could not fix the computer, ( 8 days for the new part to come in?). I picked it up and had an IT tech look at it and after pulling it apart found that they custom Bracket consisted of melting a gob of plastic over the power jack. Additionally the connector to the mother board was bent and broken. What was a simple fix, if done correctly, to order a new case, turned into a completely ruined laptop. The opinion of the IT tech was that the people at Smart FIX tried to fix it as cheaply as possible and rendered it useless. When I spoke to the people about the problem they became rude and obnoxious. If you bring any device to these people be prepared for rude service and to buy a new devise.

The dreaded iPhone screen shattering. What a terrible feeling! Read a couple of reviews on Google about cell phone repair places, and Smart FIX came up. Im really happy it did. They were pretty busy when we arrived, but we were waited on very quickly. I had my phone back in about 30 minutes and only had to pay $99 for an iPhone4 screen. I dont think thats that bad considering how much a new phone would have cost me. They made sure my phone worked perfectly before I left, which was nice. My only complaint (and its not really a complaint) is that my phone is more sensitive to light now, so the brightness is different than it was before the accident. Im really happy with the work these guys did, and I will definitely go back if, knock on wood, this ever happens again. Just a side note, a woman was in there at the same time I was who spilled olive oil on her iPhone. The guys in the back worked on it for a while, were able to get all the oil out, and replaced the LCD for free just in case. They did tell the woman that her phone wouldnt last for a very, very long time, but that it would last for a while. She was really happy, and that was a great sign for me.

Excellent, efficient work with a water-damaged iPhone 4, I went to this place on a recent trip, having accidentally gotten my iPhone lightly soaked with water, enough so there was some water behind the screen and it would not start up. It turned out that the total amount of water was low and my case was a bit lucky compared to many. However this office basically charge nothing for the diagnostic evaluation and cleaned it off (testing each internal component systematically) and only if its working again they charge roughly $80 if they couldnt fix it you dont pay. They clearly had capacity to replace damaged iPhone parts if necessary and I observed that for persons with damaged laptops they made a very careful effort to sort out if it would be helpful or too costly for each customer to go ahead and fix. So this is an ethical team and merits future business.

Smart fix service was outstanding! I own 2 dentist offices in town and they replaced and setup all the computer system in my offices. The task wasnt easy as our old server use to crash all the time and we needed an affordable solution without interrupting our business daily needs. Essi the IT tech came up with a plan and build a new system for us that now i can sync both my offices in one server and all data is backed up on cloud server as well so we will not loose any info. The job was done in a timely manner and they worked over the weekend till late hours to complete the installation, so we can be ready for work on Monday morning. Im very happy that we got this new system so now all our computer network in the office works smooth again.
