This place is a SCAM. Called in asking for a console cable, (pro tip: if the person on the phone is asking for something specific like a console cable, they probably know a thing or two) so after waiting on hold for 5 minutes just to answer the simple question of "do you sell console cables," I hear an old man shout from what i assume is the back of a shop. He says, and i quote "We still have a few in bags, they are 49.99 each, because they are rare." Which the man on the phone relayed to me assuming i couldnt hear the ridiculous thing he just said. I couldnt believe it either... a "rare" console cable? for 50 dollars?!?!?! are you kidding me?!? thats the most nonsense thing ive heard from a computer store in a while. A console cable could only be rare if it was woven with gold and spun with diamonds. They give you 2 for free every time you buy something from cisco for gabins sake!!! Needless to say, I laughed, hung up the phone and drove down the street to Frys. After searching in the computer department store, i found the console cable in less time than it took to answer the question on the phone before, and the cable cost 7 dollars. I was so irritated with the scam they have going on at Tech 2 U, I had to look and see what Frys was charging for tech support. You guessed it, it also was less expensive than the former. Thats what i get for trying to shop local and save a 5 minute drive. Dont go here, dont subscribe here, dont shop here. Its not worth it.

One of my kids knocked over the iMac and I called Tech 2 U and was told that the cost would be $400 to $600. I could work with that so I have the tech come out. The tech was nice. He tells me that they cant fix it because the aluminum is bent and the cost to replace the parts would be above $1,000. I told the gentleman on the phone that the metal was bent. None of this would have been a problem if they didnt insist on the $90 diagnostic charge. I even told the first person on the phone that Id be willing to send photos so that they could see what they are working with before coming out. The bottom line is that their sales employees and tech employees operate under different goals and the end result is that I waited for a tech to tell me that they cant fix my computer and was charged $90 to learn that. I could have instead spent 2 minutes emailing them a picture that would have accomplished the same thing and saved me the time and $90.

I have had 3 great experiences with Tech 2 U. One time a tech came to my home and went through everything and got my computer running like new and cleaned up all the old files, programs and loaded a new virus protection software. Another time the were able to log in remotely, and fix everything over the phone! Last week I brought my sons computer in that he was building and they got everyghing straigthened out and running perfect. The staff is really courteous and go above and beyond. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend this business due to price rates higher for parts they provide. You can purchase any of the parts they sell to you @ retail stores like best buy or frys cheaper, and thats retail price they are marking up. Service rate is high also. For 20 minuets of work it cost you $169.00. I think my lawyer is cheaper. Its flat rate as they claim. Vegas PCR only charges $50.00 flat rate. IFIX charges only $49.00 flat rate. I will not be going near that place again thats for sure.

My computer tech, Ernesto, was absolutely the best. He was courteous, patient, professional, respectful and very knowledgeable. He solved all the issues I was having with my computer, explained things very thoroughly, answered all of my questions, listened to my requests/likes/dislikes and made sure my computer was set up exactly like I wanted it, I was very impressed and would definitely recommend Tech 2U again, especially Ernesto. .

i am very very happy with your company. i have used your services several times and had a clean computer before the technician left. this last visit took several hours and now i have a clean working computer. it is good to now that you can have someone come to your home and see what they are doing. i am a repeat customer and will definitely use them again and recommend others to use them.
