I had a wheel alignment done 10 days ago at Mavis when I noticed inner tire wear on my 2007 SUV. During the alignment, Rich pointed out that I had steel belt showing threw the tire. I did not get tires there, I shopped around and got them elsewhere. Today, I had my free oil change and service done at Causeway Nissan who pointed out the wheel alignment was off and needed to get done. They even printed out the alignment reading for me. I told them I had this done 10 days ago and was surprised so they suggested I have Mavis check it again. When I took the print out and receipt for the alignment back to Rich at Mavis, he was eager to re-check the vehicle and make any adjustments at no extra charge. Now I know most places would say you must have hit a curb or pot hole and knocked it out of alignment again and would want additional compensation. Rich stood behind his work and made all the adjustments to correct the alignment at no extra charge. They have a sign in their mechanic Bay area that reads: "Its a trust thing!" I trust Rich and his staff and recommend them for their professionalism and honesty. Thanks again Rich!

My boyfriend and I were traveling from Bridgewater, NJ to Cape May, NJ for vacation when our trucks ABS and Brake lights went on. We some how made it to Mavis from someone who pointed us in the right direction. We were half way towards our destination and just wanted to start enjoying our vacation! The manager Rich and and mechanic Anthony, who worked tirelessly on our truck took such good care of us.They were able to correctly diagnose our electric problem and because of them, we were able to get to Cape May and enjoy our last vacation before our first baby arriving in December! Who knew a tire place could help us out like a car mechanic could! They kept us up to date on everything that was going on and really treated us well. I would recommend these guys in a heart beat and we are so thankful for them!

Completely ripped me off on my brakes for my truck. 1800$ for 2 rotors. But it was there and needed to be done. I decided to bring another vehicle there to see if they would still try to screw me. They quoted $500 for a catalytic converter. Reasonable! I was happy, until they tried to sell me on the entire exhaust system stating, "Im afraid Ill break the pipe". 500$ turned into 1600$ REAL QUICK. If you know ANYTHING about an exhaust you know they were fishing for more money. Brought it to another shop, got the cat converter, resonator, and both mufflers. Guess what? 700$ out the door. They re-used the pipes and told me there wasnt a damn thing wrong with them. AVOID THEM if you dont want to be ripped off.

its often when people are given an unpleasant experience that they decide to put a review. seeing this trend and my repeat positive experiences with STS in Barnegat i figured its time for some positive vibes their way. first of all theyve on more the one occasion fixed problems for me and said no charge... WHO DOES THAT? ill tell you who... people who know its not nice to try and cheat people out of money. i will keep coming back to STS for all my tire needs and hope people with similar great experiences leave good feedback here to fix the number of stars a low review gives them. keep up the good work STS i am a customer for life.

Horrible service!!!!! I was quoted an hour on my exhaust it took 4 hours. And manager was nasty.. employees hanging out eating and laughing while I am late for work. Dont go here.

even the wheels normally can not change. 2 wheels that I pumped one at 36.5, and the second on 29. The fact that the burning tire pressure sensor, they do not bother.
