Let me just start by saying that this place comes short on EVERYTHING! From equipment to manners from staff members. All your left with is a bad taste from coming to this gym. Their seems to be a lot of absurd rules in place for their gym members but none for staff, it feels like your back in school all over again but your just supporting this "business" with your dollars. For example, you cant bring large water bottles, you must clean after gym equipment, you cant keep gear or belongings on the floor even if its extremely important, this is just inside problems, outside problems is limited parking - please note it doesnt matter if your paying your dues on time. Yet again, I often see staff members fooling around and on their cell phones during work hours, their customer skills really need WORK. As for the "management team" if we can call it that, a girl by the name of Mikaela needs to be replaced with someone who is approachable and friendlier with more skill than just her title. As a consumer you go on about your own business because its not an issue for you, till it really is. After reading deeper into the policies - they do not accept responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property or their guests whether locked in a locker or otherwise. Yet they offer to keep belongings in their reception but what if they get lost under their care then what??? Whats worse if this happens you must report to your own personal insurance, please keep in mind their mandating locker rooms to be used to keep belongings "safe." What is this gym really offering consumers?! You really get what you paid for, please think twice and put your dollars elsewhere. Theres better gyms nearby.

Do yourself a favor and find another gym. Seriously. I transfered in from Austin , TX about 2 months ago and from the beginning it was chaos. first of the staff couldnt even figure out how to go about transferring me. Next , they tell me they charge 5 dollars more then other PF locations ? i wanted to keep going to i just paid up. Now for the gym , The place is ALWAYS PACKED! which isnt the gyms fault , but you just feel uncomfortable in there with so many people , specially when fighting for the squat racks. the gym is lacking on alot of crucial things such as MEDICINE BALLS AND KETTLE BELLS. Now for my last straw. a few days before the due date i paid my membership in order to get it out of the way. today they tell me that i have not paid and im overdue. staying calm i explained that i did and even checked my bank account charge for the gym. the manager that was on duty was not having it and simply brushed me off with a " Call your bank we cant do anything". why did it suddenly show that i havent paid , 13 days LATER ?

Let me start by saying if you are new to fitness, this is an okay gym to start off at, but dont do the black card unless you know theres a $60 cancellation fee if you wish to discontinue, (they didnt mention that to me and a couple other things Im annoyed about) I rarely write a review, I also rarely write one thats negative. However I feel people should be warned that some and I said some of their staff are unprofessional. For example, I had left my jump rope there and I was recently out of town due to my work and I asked several times if they could hold it, they said yes! but "the lack of everyone being on the same PAGE" someone supposedly threw out my $20 jump rope, no apology or anything. There are also other occasions that happened, but I want people to actually read this review so they could make a wise decision before joining. Overview

My daughter joined the gym on December 2015 and we were told that there was a thirty dollar annual fee we had to pay and after that, we would have to pay $10 each month. Little did I know the annual fee (which means a year) was going to be charged February 1st 2016. So I had called the gym and they told me that they charge the annual fee 3 months after you join, not yearly. The person I talked to prior signing the contract never specified on this matter. He told me that within a year if I wanted to cancel to let them know before the year finishes, or before they charge an annual fee of thirty dollars. So PLEASE read the contract thoroughly because I had to pay thirty dollar joining the gym (which I was told was the annual fee) PLUS thirty dollars for the actually fee in February.

Ive been to two gyms previously, due to living expenses etc. I figured planet fitness would be a great choice financially. I heard many people always look down on PF and always heard "horror" stories. But what I see is a friendly staff as I worked out the past month at different times, the locker rooms are very clean, and the atmosphere is great. The machines took awhile to adjust to but they are great as you have to actually work unlike machines at other gyms. Ive seen great results in just 4 weeks, and people are actually nice enough as a few gave me pointers and taught me proper forms on certain things. Thanks to everyone at PF cant wait for many more months of working out at youre facility. 5 Stars all across the board

Gym gets crowded during busy hours. Sometimes its so crowded its hard to walk around or do anything. Go during slow hours, its open 24/7. They should expand the gym. Parking sucks but theres always enough spaces further down. Lock your car, I lock my steering wheel with a crook lock because its a bad area. The gym is really hood, a lot of muscle heads, but theres a little bit of everyone. Machines are well maintained. Youre expected to clean every machine after every use with cleaner and a paper towel. Theres no pool.Theres not much, but its well worth it for the price. Also, they have pizza and bagels once a month ask about it.

Very nice atmosphere, but unfortunately not too professional. I joined the gym and a few months later I had health issues and a car accident that kept me bed confined and a way from the gym for a while. Charges accumulated, recently I went back and showed Manager Dr. And hospital paperwork so they could reduce a bit of money. I came to an agreement to pay little by little every week. Two weeks later I was humiliated in front of other members, an employee named Makaila told me I couldnt continue using the gym until I paid. I know its my responsibility but why give me an agreement of payment and then back up on your word.

Great location however the staff are young either high school or college students who lack the information on how to instruct someone to enroll at planet fitness. The overall atmosphere or the energy isnt friendly and most if not all the individuals that work out are not open or teachable when it comes to learning how to work out properly. I understand thats the job for a physical trainer, its nothing wrong for anyone who has knowledge on using the equipment to help someone who appears to be ignorant or has lack of knowledge.
