With the proliferation of CrossFit across the Globe, its becoming increasingly harder to find an affiliate that provides all the tenets that CrossFit represents. Ask any CrossFitter, and they will all tell you that no two CrossFit affiliates are the same. Having been to several affiliates or "boxes" as they are called, Aero Athletics offers everything that the sport of CrossFit encompasses and more. Here is why I call Aero Athletics my home: You are guaranteed to receive top-notch coaching and instruction from trainers with SEVERAL years of experience inside and outside of CrossFit. You will receive the attention your hard earned money buys. You will become part of a community that promotes and supports you as both an athlete and most importantly as a person. There are many CrossFit "boxes" in the world now, and unfortunately most of them are made up of Trainers who simply attended a one weekend training seminar to earn their CrossFit Level 1 certification. On top of this, they may or may not even have experience in training others in physical fitness period. Point is, anyone these days can pickup a CrossFit trainer certificate, but do they have the years of experience necessary for training and instructing YOU as an individual addressing YOUR fitness needs and weaknesses? Fortunately, you wont have to ask this question at Aero Athletics. Whether youre looking for a CrossFit box to join, or looking to drop-in on a class while visiting town, you dont have to worry about whether or not you are in the right place with Aero Athletics. It is where I CHOOSE to train, it is where the people know me best, and it is where I call Home.

While labeled a "Crossfit box," there is more going on here than that. The Community, the specialized classes of Olympic Lifting, Endurance, Gymnastics and respective coaches for each, are amazing is what propels me to my 5-star rating. All you have to do is check it out, first class is free. Stepping in the door is the hardest part next to not coming back. Everyone is always invited with open arms, encouraged by the fellow clients, and check in on by the coaches if they dont see them for a while. Nutrition, strongman, Olympic lifting, gymnastics and Crossfit all taught here with respective experts in each. Each coach with years, experiences and dozens of certifications under their belts. Easily the best box in the area. Come try it out.

The workouts definitely beat aimlessly running on a treadmill -- the group classes are FUN, and the coaches care about your progress and help bring out your inner athlete. Ive never loved working out more than I do now. Not only has my strength improved, but my body has changed, and Im in better shape now than when I was in my 20s. Ive been to a few CrossFit "boxes" and this one has everything you need: ropes, ghds, sleds, equipment to work accessory movements (like reverse hyper), oly classes, nutrition advisors, knowledgeable and experienced coaches, endurance programs, and a great community. Happy to call this place home.

CrossFit can be intimidating to the uninitiated. Weve all heard the meat head jokes. Like "I pick theengs up and put them DOWN." This gym is not for meat heads. CrossFit Mahwah is a well-appointed athletic facility where folks train to be better at life under the watchful direction of coaches who take incredible care of their clients. Every coach is certified by either CrossFit Inc. or USAW. Most have been doing this for many years and have multiple certifications in their specific area of expertise. Great space, great coaches, fun atmosphere.
