This place is a disgrace to all gyms. I have been a member of many other gyms but never have I had such a bad experience. I was in the area from Connecticut and wanted to look at the gym. The manager told me no! unless, I pay 20 dollars for a guess pass. Then I was told if I sign up its only 15 dollars and I need to give them my routing and bank account number.. I told her Im from out of state and she just looked at one of her employees and said "can you help him." (She made me feel so insignificant by the way she dismissed the conversation). Then she went to go play on her smartphone as if I was nothing more than an interpretation to her day. Long story short she ignored me the whole time while her ignorant employees couldnt answer any of my questions like "What happens after I give you banking information?" And "if I cancel do I have to travel all the way here from Connecticut." I ended up getting a one month pass because my fiance felt so ashamed and embarrassed she decided to just pay then to end the whole interaction.

I can understand giving your bank, routing number .Your signing a contract to pay each month. People who have bank accounts are less likely to close it verses a credit card if they dont intend to pay or they maxed out their card and cant pay. This isnt a magazine subscribtion, so I see Planet Fitnesss concern. Its a franchised business. Theyve probably been burned. When you write a check your account and routing numbers are there for everyone to see anyway. You can always call your bank to stop then from billing if there is an issue. The facility here is Clean, never really crowded, Nice staff, inexpensive! No issues with membership fees, this far.

If you must join a PF, go to the Nanuet location. They have better hours also. Great place to work out but terrible management. Multiple times Ive been ignored by the manager at the front desk while one her employees has to come check me in instead. Also disappointed they fired the two helpful young men that worked there as they leave for the basic training for the Marine Corp in two months, while they kept mostly overweight employees. Bad business move and disrespectful at that.

Very friendly environment. Me and my friend asked if we could use the gym to get a feel for the machines considering it was our first time ever working out and the the staff member said yes almost instantly. He gave us a tour of the gym and explained everything to us.not only did i sign up but i will definitely be recommended others to this gym!

After being a long time member of the PF in myrtle beach I moved and visited the PF in airmont it was the worse gym I have ever been to. Staff was rude n gym has limited equipment. Wish PF had a location in Ramsey or mahwah.

Air conditioning poor at best lately. Making a good workout quite difficult. Staff not very inviting, sometimes rude Equipment not maintained very well. Everything said, its still hard to beat the price of membership.

Needs updating. Nice shower curtains, for privacy. Theyre needed! Need professional employees! Employees let a female have her male friend in locker room! Thought it was funny! Unwelcoming to visitors!!!

Small and lacks machines. Mens locker room anf bathroom poorly kept. Even after having reported such issues as flooding of showers, used underwear left on the floor - nothing was fone about it.

So far, so good... all the machines Ive used worked well, AC was effective, plenty of paper towels and disinfectant spray, etc. Womens showers could be cleaner, as well as toilet stalls.

There is never anyone at the front desk! Clients are looking for staff members who routinely disappear, not to be found. This is a potential safety hazard.

Good environment. It doesnt have all the equipment compared to other locations, but it has the basics to get a good workout in.

Only one toilet means waiting for 20+ minutes is a norm. Specially when the staff want to take an additional break.
