Where to begin? The act of finding a mechanic to fix your car can be a particularly stressful one. First you have to weed through the endless listings of service centers in your area and try to determine from the looks of the ad whether or not this guy is going to shyster ya. Then you have to clean out your car of any valuables so nothing "disappears". And lastly, if youre like me, you have to stop by a pizzeria or sub-shop at some point during the repair to present an offering. And you better have been saving your money because these mechanics can be expen$ive. They all seem to charge a months rent just to get the car working and from that point on, it always seems youre bringing back the car every month to get something else fixed! Well let me tell you, you will experience none of that if you take your car to Affordable Automotive. Owners Paul and Maggie are fabulous. They treat each customer that walks through their door with such dignity, you would think you have known them all your life. I recently walked in their shop after having shaved a long beard and with in one second, they instantly recognized me and greeted me by name and that really makes a person feel good. After every transaction they go so far as to send a hand-written thank you letter often consisting of further discounts and once you are in their system you will receive monthly news letters full of helpful tips on everything from your car to sending your kids off to school. I dont know how they do it! Walt and Greg who are responsible for bringing in your vehicle and addressing all of its issues are also great and personable. They will always keep you in the know at all times and explain things about your vehicles progress in terms you can understand, and never commence on work until everything is agreed upon unlike other service centers Ive dealt with. The mechanics who work on the cars prove themselves time and again their competence and are a testament to their profession. All in all, you will thank yourself for bringing your car to Affordable Automotive and promptly delete any other service center from your contact list once and for all.

What an awesome experience! I brought my eleven year old, 200,000+ mile car into Affordable Automotive last week for an oil change that I knew would turn into much more because my car was "not performing optimally", to be polite, and making disturbing rattling noises! My wife and I recently bought a house in the area, and Affordable Automotive came highly recommended by my Mom, who has become a regular customer as well. From the start, the staff was incredibly friendly, professional, proactive, and accommodating! In the morning, while I waited for the mechanics to diagnose the problems and review my options with me, Maggie from the front office and I chatted at length and she really made me feel at home and like I was part of the family. I even had some great conversations with other customers as we waited for our vehicles together. Free coffee and cookies -- always a value add in my world! :) But the real reason I love this place is how they helped me to have a successful day when it became clear I was going to have to work remotely while they worked on my car. Maggie helped me prepare my lunch, and then Paul, the proprietor himself, drove me to the Brick Public Library so I could not miss a beat professionally and continue to earn a living while they finished up the work on Old Faithful. When I was ready to be taxied back to Affordable Automotive, Paul promptly came and picked me up, too! Everything was explained to me up front and I even received a generous discount because my Mom referred me! The work was done swiftly and well, I was consulted every step of the way, and... The real test was when I went to start my car after the work was completed! My car was humming like a much younger, better maintained vehicle than the one I have been driving around town! I am extremely impressed with the quality of the work, and I cant imagine taking my car anywhere else locally. I highly recommend these guys! I will cheerfully refer them to others, and I encourage you to check them out as well if youre in the area! You will thank me!!!

This is the 3rd Review for this Automotive Service Center that I have written as they are under many search engines.. but all I can say Is.... A++++ Service coming from a woman with an older car who is dependent on it everyday for work.. I mistakenly went into their establishment looking for a different place, but was greeted so Friendly by Greg and Walt, and they were willing to take me despite their busy and already booked day. I even got a ride home from the owner and Greg on two occasions. I am ALWAYS told when something is coming up, or if something isnt needed at the time, despite my worrying when I hear ANY NOISE.. (they are right on it).. they dont ever ignore what I say and talk to me everytime Im hearing something and I get a FULL-INSPECTION on even an oil change, and a Friendly "Thank you" card for even choosing to be with them. They NEVER make me spend more than I have to to get the job done and to keep my car performing at its best. A returning customer over 3 x now since Ive moved to this area just a year ago, and dont trust anyone to do a better job!! They even offer credit if they see something you may know is wrong, but not quite sure what it is.. to me, its the best option available as a single parent and struggling. Keep up the Great Work and would refer them to ANYONE (Friends, Family, even a stranger) because they are JUST THAT GOOD!! Thanks, to the crew of Affordable Automotive for ALWAYS looking out for me, my kids, OUR SAFETY MOST OF ALL, as well as my livelihood. See you all again soon :)

First and last time i will be bringing any of my vehicles to this place. I wouldnt refer this place to my worst enemy. I trusted their expertise when it came to a big job on an older car, and i sure do regret it. Im in my 20s with not alot of money to spare so when they gave me a work order for over one thousand dollars I was shocked. The service manager assured me that this car is in sound condition but just needs a full tune up.. So trusting this guy ( not sure how he sleeps at night) and had them do the job. After forking out close to 2000 dollars and a couple trips back to the place they fianlly got it right. fast forward 4 months later.... bring the car in to get the tires rotated , and i get that" come here gotta show you something".. well that something was another 400- 500 dollars of work they seemed to stumble across which was right in their working view when the manager looked me in the eye and said this is a SOUND car!! Fuming and about to blow my own head gasket I told them don"t touch anything and I will not be returning! MORAL OF THE STORY.. Unless you have tons of money to feed this vultures, you wont survive at this place with a used vehicle!!
