So I have been going to gyms for 35+ years and have never been reprimanded for dropping my weights. I have very good gym etiquette in all aspects from putting weights back, putting cable ropes and bars back and wiping down equipment. I go to work out today at this gym and I am the only one in the dumb bell section minding my own biz, listening to some freestyle and I finished one set of flat bench flies when one of the girls behind the counter comes rushing to me to scold me like a young kid and tell me that I am dropping the weights. Mind you, one set only was done, and I know the difference between dropping weights and placing them down so you dont stretch your back and hurt yourself if you place them down incorrectly. Really worker girl, if that is the way you treat patrons at this gym, which btw I like to go to, BUT I will definitely not continue to recommend if you have to walk around on eggshells because the sound of people working out is too much for her to handle. Get a job in the library if you cant take it... Wow...what a joke!

I enjoy this new planet fitness. Plenty of room so no one is on top of each other. I really enjoy using the cable machines (they are my favorite) and I am so happy the new planet fitness has so many of them. It is extremely clean and not too hot. The hydromassage beds are amazing also. The tanning beds are a little weak, but its a basic tanning bed so I was not expecting much. I did go in the other day though, and the employee was on her phone and not paying attention to the people coming in the door. So I had to wait to get signed in. I usually go in the evening and this does not happen. I wish we could just scan ourselves in like at retro. Thats the only thing I would change.

Good price, but the clientele is awful(lacking reasonable gym etiquette and often reasonable levels of common sense) and the hypocritical business marketing is funny... judgement free zone, unless you are in shape. Then, they will call you a lunk. Lack sufficient plates and are overcrowded much of day. Working out over night is great, but they only have that Monday-Thursday. Usually very clean and staff are generally friendly when they are at the desk.

Incredibly affordable. The staff is very friendly and dont at all make you feel intimidated even if its your first time. I love how when I look around I can see the different ages and levels of experience and theres no one set group of people that attend the gym. Its clean. And its great knowing I dont have to wait or fight for a machine, theres plenty to go around.

This the worst gym, I had ever went too, after not using the toms river planet fitness for 3 months, they canceled me automatically. I havent been to this gym for 5 months an, they over charge you. This brick,nj planet fitness is the worst gym ever. They have terrible PR. I recommend the planet fitness in toms river.

Im surprised that there are people giving less than 4 stars. I joined as soon as it opened and have never had a problem. Even when the gym is busy I always find an empty treadmill/machine (plenty of space). The place is very clean and is ventilated well. The staff is very friendly. No complaints here!

Update- I tried to cancel. What a nightmare. If you cancel. GET A COPY OF THE FORM!!!! Nothing amazing just like any other planet. But it was clean and if you go late at night it is empty.
