THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE SPA. I went to Mari for blonde/ warm golden balyage highlights. I chose to do balyage because I am 8 months pregnant and specifically said I did not want chemicals sitting on my scalp. Mari took it on her own accord to choose a reddish balyage color and then when I asked if my hair was red at the sink because I happened to see part of it on my shoulder she said NO. She proceeded to go in the back by the sink and mix what she TOLD me was a toner. The girl applying it questioned her and I heard Mari tell her that it would neutralize my hair. I just figured this was a low ammonia glaze. I was okay with that. After keeping me at the sink for 15m-- my eyes were burning and the smell was strong-- they assured me it was just a glaze. When the glaze came off--- I went to the mirror- my hair was a murky- red/blonde color. My natural color-- which I had been growing in for over TWO YEARS was GONE. MARI took it upon herself to apply PERMANENT color to my hair and change the entire base color. I did not ask for this and did not want it done ESP because I am pregnant. Then when I asked her about what she used-- she LIED to me again and told me it was just a glaze. My regular girl--- confirmed upon having to color correct and fix the color that she definitely changed my beautiful base!! After waiting for over 15m to speak with a manager I left without paying- upset and lied to. The manager called me later and told me to send her a picture of my hair. She concluded that Mari was upset and felt she should be paid and that it didnt look THAT bad in the pictures. I told her they should pay ME for my time, being lied to and having to now spend a fortune to color correct it! The manager (Sam?) ended up charging my account wth the $100.00 (all the flex money) I had in it. SUCH awful moral, such awful service. I would never ever ever ever ever go there for anything. Go to a real salon for color and cuts. And STEAR CLEAR OF MARI.

I am so disappointed with Lifetime in Montvale, NJ. I signed up for the 90 day challenge class on February 12, 2016, and enjoyed the start of the class. Recently, the classes have been cancelled for the 9:00am sessions without any notification. Today was cancelled class #4. I never received notification that class would not be held in the morning only at night, and on a few instances the class was cancelled outright. Whenever I try to ask one of the managers at the gym they do not have an excuse, and usually dont know why they didnt show. Todays excuse was the instructor was on vacation, when the class had been scheduled since before the challenge started, January of 2016. I can not believe this is how you run this program. I am a loyal customer and have brought you tons of clients who have signed up with Lifetime, and at this point I will no longer be doing any referrals. The manner in which this problem was handled is appalling and a little ridiculous, one free class is not going to cover my disappointment this time. I own my own business, and when I clear my schedule in order to attend the classes I paid for with the challenge, I can not come at a different time. I also missed out taking my Hot Yoga class because I was under the impression I would have my 90 day class. If I had known I could have taken this class instead, but yet again no notice. Alsio the people at the help desk did not have any answers for me, which made me upset, same with management. So unprofessional specially for the fee I pay every month.

Joined for, what I was told would be $129/month only to check my bank statements to find out I was being charged $160. I also signed up under the pretext that I could use any gym in the country (including Westchester) and I used the Westchester gym on the occasions I was there. Then one day I went to Westchester and was rudely told I was "no longer allowed to use this gym." Most recently, I brought my son to the gym and was going to pay the $15 fee and was told that they would not allow access to him for the day. Policies change without notice (I can see the use of the outside pool being an extra charge sometime in the near future). The gym itself is beautiful but between the lies, policy changes without notice, and the rude and lack of accommodating staff, its not worth the money. You are paying a primium price fo a premiere facility. I would expect to be treated better from a gym of this stature. For the foregoing reasons I canceled my membership.

Beautiful gym, but for 150 bucks a month minimum it outright should be! The details of it are amazing though and the showers are something you arent terrified of going barefoot in. The gym is so big that even when its busy it feels empty. Theyre open 20 hours a day too even on weekends... which is a rarity in northern Bergen County. I cant speak for their personal training, but I hear its pretty good as well. They have a huge indoor pool and spa for use throughout the year, and a very large outdoor pool for use in the summer months. My ballroom dance partner and I are allowed to use the Yoga studio to practice when we want to. Grateful that management allows us! They have a great studio with a great sound system there.

I wouldnt even give this place one star! Be careful of false deals- I was told my membership was only going to be $49 a month and was misinformed that was the initiation fee ! I was actually charged $108.53 and less than a week later was charged $159.83 after canceling within 3 days of finding out what the actual monthly payment was- I demanded a refund and havent been able to get in touch with anyone!!! This infuriates me!!

Decent gym. Worst customer service ever. If you do get a hold of someone, they cant help you. The person who can, does not return phone calls. This is at a local level and corporate as well. Ive emailed corporate for information multiple times over the past year and never received a response. Once you join, the quality of customer service drops dramatically. That may be important to some more than others.

Ive been going here for 3 years, my whole family goes there...between the 3 of years we spend 450 a month... besides that I eat at the cafe everyday spend so much money on all of their stuff... and they got upset with me for bringing a guest twice... even though they never signed him or anything, I drove 40 minuets there and they made my guest and I drive home and wouldnt even let me in... so disrespectful

Thinking of joining and wouldnt accommodate on the guest policy since it ended at 8:30, and we got there at 8:40. Great way to give people a chance to see and try out the facility. What does it cost to let a guest in for an hour, minimal. Bad call. Will not join or recommend. As a business owner myself this was a great opportunity to be flexible and gain new business but they did just the opposite.
