I would give them minus stars if I could. They are cheats and liars and will steal ur money. Stay away. 2 months back my car wouldnt start I had to jump start it... took out the battery and checked with autozone they said battery is fine... so I thought must be something major and someone recommended this pepboys... when I got there they said my battery is done and needed to be changed... and everything is else is okay... so I got it changed. 1 and 1/2 month latter one morning car wouldnt start again .. got it jump started some how and took it to them again .... this time they said its the terminals and changed the terminal .... and also my oil change was due... so got the oil change package which includes full inspection and tire rotations.... also I asked them if I need to change the tires ... he said no its okay. 5 days latter car wouldnt start again... jump started it again and took it to them.... this time they say I need a new alternator and also tires need to be changed and air filter needs to be changed. I asked them why they didnt tell me this 5 days earlier ... they said electrical problems come and go and 5 days ago the alternator was okay.... so I asked him what about the air filter and tires??? Freaking cheaters and liars.... at this point I have lost trust in them so I say just change the air filter and jump the car for me so I can take it to my usual mechanic... when I get to my usual mechanic he opens the hood of the car and just picks the terminals of the battery with is hands thats how loss they made the terminals so the car wouldnt start... once he tightened the terminals the car could start perfectly fine. Everyone stay away if u love ur hard earned money cause they are cheaters and unprofessional.

Went on one occasion due to a hole in the muffler that I noticed one day. I went inside and told the guy that my muffler had a hole and he asked "How do you know?" I told him because I saw it. I guess he doubted me? He basically spent 20 mins telling me theyd have to order a new entire undercarriage and it would take a couple days and recommended I go to a junk yard. I asked how about just the muffler and he said oh yea you can do that too. Another time I had a flat. I had the donut on and went to purchase a new tire. I went back to pick up my car and they told me I needed a new lug nut. When I asked why, he said one broke. I asked how it broke and he said someone must have screwed it on too tight. A friend later told me that they use the pressurized tool to remove the lug nuts. He informed me that it would be $70 to replace the lug nut. I told him that lug nuts typically cost $2 and he was surprised I even knew what it was. I also informed him that since they broke it, I wasnt liable for the cost. I told him that I was fine driving on one less lug nut. He basically tried to convince me that my tire would fall off if I had 4 lug nuts vs 5. I told them I would only be paying for the tire and labor for that. I will never go here again especially because this is the 2nd time I went to a Pep Boys and they broke my lug nuts.

You have to hand it to Pep Boys... (no matter which location you make the mistake of dealing with) they ARE consistent in hiring the least intelligent and the absolute angriest people in the labor pool. Tonight I had the pleasure of working with Donna. When I explained the part I wanted, she became angry and insistent that the part I wanted did not exist. Angry. This makes no sense. Im at a parts store, asking for parts. We werent even 10 words into our exchange. For normal people, this is not enough time to make a judgement about which emotion is needed for the situation. To move things along, I looked up the part on Advance Autos website to give her a number to cross check, and viola! The part does, indeed, exist! My next impossible and unreasonable request was coolant. Oh Lordy, that hit a nerve also! Heres our dialogue: Me: Has the G12 coolant for VW changed numbers? PepBoys employee: BELT! COOLANT? Its a belt! Alrighty then. Ill get that somewhere else. Its hard to avoid them, as they often have a part that no other store in the state has.

The worst customer relationship!! It charged me almost $500 to replaced the thermostst with my own parts!! What is worst, the people there doesnt have any patient! It really makes me feel it is th worst place when see their face! My friend also got a really bad expeirence. The car shaked on high way and when breaks. People there said she needed to change the four tires and th front brakes asking for more than $1000. This is not the worst thing. My friend changed the breaks at pepboys for more than $300 and change only one tire in other autoshop less than $100.it dosnt shake driving when driving but still shaking when breaks. We went back and they said they need a test drive and made us waiting for 4 hours. Never trust what they said and what they have is awful service and bad attitute. Also, do not change your tires if really necessary. They are selling the used tires that might from your car!!! Horrible, terrible, they really desire the F words!!!

I wish a negative star was possible. I guess I should of read the reviews before heading to this store. Management is joke. Pepboys employees are so unprofessional. The guy name Allen is a racist and his manager was right there doing nothing but eating pizza, he made a joke stating he doesnt come to burger King where I work [i guess] to tell me what to do so why Im I tell him what to do. Then tried to correct it saying do i come to chinese restaurant and tell you what to do, i guess because he looks ethic that was him not trying to water down his joke. The Gm should definitely make some decisions. All in all I will not return to this store. Bryan the service tech was great and is truly undervalued there.

I just met the worst service attitude I ever had in my life. I walked-in last night and wanted to change a broken brake bulb at the back. Then the technician called me and saying there were 3 other bulbs out of work. At the time when I picked up my car, I asked the merchant where were the other bulbs broken and changed, I just wanted to know where the bulbs were located but not only the name, he kept telling me the name and didnt want to show me at all. He was impatient, rude and in a very bad attitude which entirely pissed me off. Pepboys is a large company, this kind of service attitude is something I can never imagine.

This pep boys is the worst my check engine light came on and Im going on my 4th different part they think it is and its still not fixed. I keep paying for more and more parts check engine light is still on and now Im running out of time to get my car inspected. They started off saying I needed a part that cost 24 bucks plus labor then that when to a hose that cost 90, then something else at cost 127, now they want 567 bucks and saying all the other parts i got were needed. but with all the other parts my check engine light is still on so why are they saying i still need them. 100% rip off place!
