Absolutely horrible experience! I only have them one star because it's required. The men smelled like pot and booze. They came half an hour late. The move from a two bedroom first floor apartment to a one bedroom apartment took 8 hours. Page 4 of their packing tips page is plagiarized from another moving company: "All loose belongings need to be boxed. You have three options: do it yourself, have Alpha Moving pack everything, or have Alpha do partial packing (for example, pack only fragile items)." They took a 30 minute smoke break. Charged us triple what Lou quoted us. Lou is a liar, he is rude, extremely disrespectful. I lived in the same town that this company of 15 years is based in, yet they had no clue where I lived. They don't use hand trucks or gps. They kept insisting that we tip them. It was so horrible!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

I would recommend not moving with this company. The management/owner couldnt even bother himself to call me regarding my grill that was broken by one of the movers. I received a letter stating that the grill was in ill-fated condition prior to the move which is untrue. The grill was in perfect working order prior to the move, it was dropped twice by the mover who was trying to carry it by himself and i was not fairly compensated for the loss. If you take your chances with this company, you better purchase extra insurance to cover yourself because the movers do not take precaution moving all of your belongings and the owner doesnt seem to care. A note to the owner, when running a business it is customary to respond to a customer when they call and request to speak to you. Ignoring them is rude and unprofessional.

I recently used Princeton Van Service for a local move. The guys were professional and overly considerate of items that I hadnt yet had the chance to bubble wrap! In addition, my mortgage closing was delayed, so they ended up having to keep my things on the truck for an additional 2 days. When I was all ready to move into the new house, the guys showed up right away and did an amazing job. I was somewhat disorganized, but the team really stepped up and helped me organize where things were going. The owner was available at all times and was extremely responsive and professional. I cant say enough good things about my experience with Princeton Van Service!!

Very dissapointed. Put a hole in my wall of the new house, were not able to move dresser upstairs, took hour and half break and said they would take off bill (they did not) requested a tip after they milked over 2 hours to put beds together because I was called to work and was not able to supervise. Literally did 30 min work in 2 hours (on top of charging me $140 for the hour they took for lunch).

I am comforted in knowing during a stressful time of buying and selling my homes, Princeton Van Service made my moving day a relief. Had a great time with the friendly guys and they took great care of my furniture!
