My husband and I hired Statewide on the recommendation of some friends of ours that simply raved about them. Our experience was as follows: * They showed up 45 minutes late. * They were under the impression that they were taking the contents of our house to storage, rather than picking items up from storage and bringing everything to a new house. * At least one of the movers (and we suspect a few of them) were smoking pot in or around the truck while loading up our belongings. * They were smoking cigarettes in the truck with our belongings. * One of the older movers spent a considerable amount of time yelling at the younger guys. Just standing there periodically screaming at them, repeating himself, about nothing that my husband or I could see, and wasting our time in the process. * They ran out of paper to pack our dishes, and when my husband said that there was a store up the street that carries it, the mover replied very rudely "Whats that got to do with me?" * They LOST a bag of their allen wrenches and the screws to our bed. * When, at well past midnight, my husband and I were looking for the screws and the wrenches, the movers were sitting on our front porch, smoking and talking loudly, while on the clock, until my husband went out and ordered them to to help start opening boxes to find the tools and hardware they had misplaced so they could just leave. * Despite labeling of boxes and even verbal instructions, boxes and other items ended up unloaded seemingly randomly throughout the house, including boxes of books in the garage, and my sons bedroom rug left outside draped over the fence. They made what was already going to be a stressful experience into an absolute nightmare. The ONLY thing they did right was to have a truck and load and unload the truck of our belongings.

Their service was terrible. 3 hours job became 6 hours because they charge you hourly. We had an agreement to move a 400-lb gun safe from basement to basement, but when they were unloading the safe, the dolly they were using broke, so they forced me to leave the safe in the garage instead. The nail in the coffin was when I discovered that I was missing a $300 antique table. When I called the manager, he of course denied he found anything of the sort. Conclusion: DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Stay away from them. Deal with this company is at your own risk.

03/12/2014 My husband and I would like like to commend the wonderful job and stress free move with Your employees Rich, Edgar and Derek....although our move was cancelled x2 due to Mother Nature not cooperating, the third time went without any issues and as smooth as possible due to the experienced and hard workers of Rich, Edgar and Derek. You really need to reward these employees as this was our second request for them ( Derek was the newcomer) because they do such a wonderful job and work great as a team.... If i say incredible.. that doesnt even come close! Cameron and his crew were fast,efficient, professional and friendly. The service was impeccable and fast. The guys took great care of my items like they were their own. 5 stars is ridiculous. Id score 100 stars. Outstanding and flawless service.

Statewide Moving And Storage took care of our office move. Cameron coordinated our move and Corey and Fred were professional and very accomodating. We had issues with our building being completely ready and they were able to accommodate us. I would definitely use them again
