I never rented storage space before until last year. I had to move into a smaller home with my 1-year-old, but only had room for our bare essentials. My parents told me about the ExtraSpace Storage location in Hasbrouck Heights which is close to my new home and my work. So I visited the office and met with Cynthia. She was very nice and quickly put me at ease with all my concerns about security and confidentiality. She showed me every size rental they have, knew every price and every special rate that are constantly changing without ever once having to call someone or refer to a cheat sheet - very professional and truly knew her Companys product. The entire facility and storage space rentals were immaculate, and secure both inside and outside the building. I was impressed with everything overall. I left there confident that I made the right decision choosing to rent there. About a month later, staff further reinforced that I made the right decision after I discovered my rental spaces door was broken and reported it to staff on duty in the office. Alex and Nadia immediately went above and beyond to give me a replacement space while preserving my promotional rate I locked in when I first signed my lease. I was able to move my things to the new space right away, easing my concerns about theft. Not only did they fix everything for me, the replacement space on the same floor as my old one AND next to the elevator at no extra charge when they didnt have to!

I just left Extra Space Storage on Rt. 17 and am renting with them for the first time. I cannot say enough about how great an experience it was. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. Every one I spoke to on the phone, including Danny the manager, was courteous and professional. Today, Rosemary was in the front office to get me set up with my unit. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and explained everything in incredible detail. It was a tough day with terrible rainy weather, and she was just a ray of sunshine! The facility itself is clean, secure, spacious, and very affordable. Ive used several storage places in the past, but Extra Space blew them all out of the water. I would not hesitate to use them time and time again in the future. Long story short, wonderful staff and a great option to store with to leave you feeling completely at ease about your belongings in their home away from home.

An update to my last review - I had a space here for 21 months. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough. I didnt see my things once over that time and when I came back there was barely any dust on them. They keep the facility clean as a whistle. Great security too. JP is amazing - he went above and beyond to make all of the logistics easy for me from far away and the day of move out he was right there for anything I needed. This building was a bit out of my way when I first started looking but Im SO GLAD I chose this facility! A+++ ***** Renato was incredibly helpful. He showed me all of the units I wanted to see - talked through all of my options with me. He was patient and he even found me the best deal on a larger unit while I was there so I upgraded by 250 cu ft. for only $10 more per month. Havent moved in yet but I expect it to be hassle-free

This facility is clean and has good lighting. The facility is secure and safe and this a good quality to have when trying to get into your stoarge at night. The facility is well managed but the management does not seem to really care about the needs of the client. I have been with this company for almost two years now and in those two years I have had two problems with the management. Although the problem started with myself, the management was not willing to help me with the problem and this has caused me some concern. Overall this is a good facility and there is one employee that is really friendly and caring and she makes the difference when renting from this facility.

I rented unit for the first time. The staff was very helpful in assisting me to choose the right one.Although, Extrastrorage was slightly, costly compared to other players in the market. I liked the cleanliness of the storage area. It was well maintained except that, a small floor height difference between outside and inside to move a loaded cart was a a bit difficult. Overall, i was very happy and would recommend it to others for sure.

Daniel was very helpful. I wasnt sure on what size I wanted. I decided to switch sizes after he had already assigned me one and he was very patient and helpful with me. He also made sure my access code worked and that i was able to use it with no issues. The facility is clean and secure. I searched and visited a few locations before choosing this one.

THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, THE PROPERTY IS WELL KEPT AND CLIMATE CONTROLLED WHICH IS GOOD FOR THE ELECTRONICS I OWN, THE MANAGER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND GAVE ME EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND DID NOT TRY TO SELL ME AT ALL. THIS IS A GOOD SAFE PLACE TO KEEP THINGS UNEEDED IN YOUR HOME, AND INSURANCE IS MANDATORY SO YOUR STUFF WILL BE SAFE!

EXCELLENT SERVICE, PROPERTY IS WELL KEPTAND VERY CLEAN, THE MANAGER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND I GOT A REAL GOOD DEAL. A GREAT SAFE PLACE TO KEEP THINGS FOR LONG OR SHORT TERMS AND YOUR STUFF WILL BE SAFE THERE BECUSE OF THE SCURETY SYSTEM AND THE WAY THE ELEVATOR WORKS. THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE ARE VERY FRIENDLY.

We already have a storage unit here, and needed a larger one. JP quickly transferred our account and credited us money since it was mid-month. The units are always clean and well kept. Its always a little chilly in there, so wear your sweaters! We are thoroughly pleased with our choice to store our belongings here!

This is my second time renting out a storage from Extra Space and it gets better every time i come back. Friendly Staff and CLEAN storage space. Ask for the storages near the back area where you can easily load/unload. Ask for Deivis and hell make sure you get a "star" treatment.

This was the first time I rented a storage unit. The gentleman who was in charge was very informitive and polite. I would recommend extra space storage to anyone who needed a storage unit. Not just because of the people but because of the price and the hours of operation.
