My fiancé and I live on Staten Island and were looking for storage place to store seasonal items and miscellaneous stuff. We went to the location near our house. We arrived at 4pm and and no one was in the office. It was a sign on the door that said will return at 4:30 which makes no sense when this place closes at five. I called the toll-free number and spoke to some lady who is really helpful and looked up different locations and prices when she suggested that we go to the Jersey City location bc it was cheap. at first we didnt want to because you live in setting on the dictate it was too far but dont worry realize it was only like 10-15 minutes away we said OK will go to that location. When we arrived at the location and went into the office we were greeted with such enthusiastic workers. They all seem to be getting along and really like their jobs the person who is helping us was really polite showed us a storage unit took us on a tour he also recommended to find some boxes if we needed it. I am extremely happy that its a secure location and nobody can go into another location except for their own area its neat and clean. It was definitely worth going to Jersey

Horrible place they made me get insurance even though its not a good requirement, people please read what you are signing . They make you buy their lock even if you bring your own . the women who was helping was rude and kept out talking me telling me I have to use their insurance . It also smelled horrible on second floor where they were trying to make me rent but it smelt horrible. Make sure u bring your own clylinder lock from Home Depot . The rates are low which is the only good thing . I did notice a few roaches as well the place is infested one of the stuff even told me. Watch out for there shaky sales tactics boxes are definitely cheaper at Home Depot .

I initially booked my reservation through the Public Storage website to take advantage of an online promotion. I immediately received a call from the site I selected to confirm a reservation and move-in date. Tiara, one of the Customer Service reps, was great. She quickly and efficiently walked me through rental process. There are some upfront one-time costs that a customer needs to be aware of like a lock and administrative fees. Likewise, customers should check if their homeowners or renters insurance covers public storage as you will need coverage. Fortunately, they also have policies for this. Great service, clean facility, and convenient hours and access.

I LOVE this place! I moved my storage from Keepers Storage after they doubled the price. JCPS is now storing my belongings at 1/3 the price. It is now in an air conditioned, immaculate temperature controlled room. It was so nice to move into the cool, clean building where I was able to sort through my boxes at my own pace - stress free. The staff is so accommodating! I had Maria take care of my move and she went above and beyond and so did everyone else! Im moving out of state and I know my items will be taken care of with no worries! They will do whatever it takes to make you happy. I HIGHLY recommend this storage.

When you come to come to this location you are immediately greeted by friendly staff and they make you feel welcome. My husband and I currently came a second time to finally finalize paperwork and Maria helped us. She was wonderful made the process look simple and she even took extra time even though we were asking a lot of questions and asked to see a second unit. Once she knew we were happy went back to the office and it was a quick and easy process. I know is only storage but her professionalism and friendliness will make me come back just to say hi. Ill make sure to bring those pork rolls Maria.

The staff will say insurance is *required*. But as per lease agreement, insurance is recommended but *not required*. If you for some reason wish to not have the insurance, know that you have a choice to decline insurance, irrespective of what staff says. You just have to repeat yourself enough times. However its worth getting the insurance to protect your stuff in case of loss. Because public storage takes no responsibility of any loss. But its just good to know that it is customers choice and not mandatory thing.

The stuff member who answered my call was very rude and unreasonable so I wrote a bad review about it here. Then I received a call from a district manager apologizing and trying to keep the business with me. He was very reasonable and sufficient at his job and gave me a great deal to make it up for what happened. I dont usually write reviews but I do appreciate when the business takes it seriously and acts out to solve a problem.

India and Sasha are top notch employees...made my storage bin shopping a breeze...and got me in pretty quick after just a few routine questions...gave me the best offer they could, explained every thing simple and plain. Would for sure recommend this public storage facility to anyone of my friends or family...thank you again for making my day off at public stroage so easy!!!! 5 stars for sure!!!

BEST storage experience ever! This is the first time I’ve used a storage unit and Im so glad I chose this facility. The whole staff is hilarious and Sasha made the process easy and I felt very comfortable asking questions. Also she went over all the deals and made sure I was getting the proper size unit for my needs. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who needs a storage unit!

I went in to get just to get their storage rates for my bicycles and tools. A representative named "India" took her time to help me figure out the space I need and even gave me a tour of the place and showed me several possible units that are available. India offered discounts too! I will recommend this place to anyone. Thank you India and Public Storage! 2 thumbs up!

I am very overwhelmed and stress as i would be traveling to do some medical volunteer work. Maria made this experience so easy and she was wonderful. It never felt like I was coming to rent a storage. From the start to finish she was very professional and friendly. Explained everything and even took her time to assure I had no other questions. This place had been awesome right from I stepped in. Ever smiling staff, very clean storage and easy accessibility in JerseyCity. Rasha, the manager was extremely helpful in filling my paperwork on time because I was rushing because of my moving help. Would recommend definable after seeing all the nearby storage facilities.

Maria and Rasha..awesome management team. Facility is clean and huge with dual access and egress. Interior covered parking. Biggest plus... I feel safe and secure. Best rates for the area. I so recommend this facility to just to be able have that little bit of extra storage space for those items I dont use as often.
