Camplified Tour

As a concert touring company, we keep space at ES all year round but essentially only active from May to August when the tour is in full swing. We are constantly dealing with third party clients who are making massive deliveries to our storage unit, of which at times is not in the agreed upon fashion by which they need to. This not only makes our lives difficult, its also not easy on Hilton and Brian as well. These gentleman are the best of the best, going way above their requirements to us as tenants of space, above assisting us through our requests and hurdles. Weve been with Extra Space Storage for many years, and have remained loyal because of the professional and excellent service that Hilton and Brian provide. We highly recommend them to anyone who wants a great experience with a very hands on team.

Last month (Aug 14) I rented at another storage space in a facility closer to my home. While in the process of transferring my items I noted it would be a downgrade from the service I’ve benefited at Extra Space Storage at Secaucus. I promptly cancelled the move and decided to stay. Though varying storage needs challenges me, time & time again a service oriented and knowledgeable staff meet these. Presently, Hilton, Brian & Julian are ready willing and able to fulfill these needs with ease and a smile. It’s manager, Hilton has refurbished the facilities with notable upgrades: bathroom, painted halls, attention to detail; constant maintenance like lighting, greased gates and mostly cleanliness. All encompassing this gives an overall sense of care and safety.

Wow. I used to work here when it was a privately owned storage business called "A Space Station". In the summers when I was a teenager, they would have me drive in the coolest golf cart and maintain the grounds and storage units clean. Well... nothing lasts forever. No saying more true. Now one of the leaders in the storage business, "Extra Space Storage" with its unmistakable green logo is running things here and rather well. The only thing I dont like is their price hikes. Way too high. But for the first 2 years or so its reasonable. If by then you still have stuff in storage, it really is time to let go of it. Do the math. You just might realize youve paid more in storage fees than whatever youre storing.

Came here to rent a storage unit with my boyfriend during a crazy snowstorm and left more than pleased with the service, the staff, and the facility. We called ahead of time to make sure the place would be open when we arrived. Even though the store closed early because of the in-climate weather, the Store Manager, Orlando waited for us and when we arrived he was the most pleasant, instructive, and welcoming person I have ever encountered. He went through everything with us thoroughly and was clear with us as well. I really appreciated his service and how pleasant he was with us. I will be recommending him and his location to others I know that need the storage space.

I was a customer of Extra Space Storage for over 10 years. The good thing was that access was available whenever you wished.The bathroom was so clean! OMG what a treat! The bad thing was that the office was never open till the posted times on Sundays. I did not like that fact that I paid more than new customers did, it was like being penalized for being a faithful customer! Te lighting was anuisance since you had to run up and down the stairs to keep turning the lights on and it was somewhat scary! The lack of available had trucks was a nuisance as well. I went to the office to see where I could get one and was told that I had to search through the buildings...

This facility do not even deserve 1 star. The below ratings and reviews are by them and they really beg customers to give good reviews when you are there and they do give you the best service. After that you will see their real face. They are horrible. I removed my storage because they were extremely rude with me and now friend of mine also went thru bad service. I didnt feel safe giving them my business. There are many other storage so i decided to move on and not even bother to dealing with were they do not know the meaning of customer service.

Came here to rent a unit and was very pleased with the facility and staff. Brian took care of us and walked us through the process very easily. He was very knowledgable on the process and made sure we got the right space for what we needed. 15 minutes or so and we were putting our items in a unit. Fast and easy. There is an explanation on why the rates will rise after six months as to avoid any surprises. Not many companies tell you upfront that the rates will go up so I am thankful for the full disclosure.

Easy to get to from Hoboken/Weehawken and also from Secaucus. They have great rates and easy access. Few times I dealt with management they were very helpful. Only negative is that Extra Space raises your rates continuously so whatever you sign up for is not likely what youll be paying in 6 months. This is not just this location, its an Extra Space Storage issue. I worked around this by paying for the full year in advance but I know that isnt an option for everyone.

Ive been a customer here for close to 10 years and have always been impressed with the customer service. I know the company well from the corporate side and believe they place a lot of emphasis on employee training. Jose was great helping me downsize, literally calling me as I was driving out to let me know a unit just came available. They also just replaced all the doors and they roll smooth as glass! Not the cheapest but you cant beat the location.

At first I was really annoyed because when I made it in 15 minutes before their closing time they wouldnt take me in. But the next time I went - both the attendants were very helpful and cordial and were able to setup stuff pretty soon. I just wish they werent so expensive - but given all other storage unit companies in the vicinity - they seemed to have the best prices/location/hours and accessibility.

I cannot say enough about Brian and Hilton! It is rare to find such kind and genuine people. Both gentlemen were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They listened to and accommodated every need I had. I have storage units all over the country and I have never had such a positive experience at any of them. I would highly recommend this Extra Space to anyone without question!

The storage space I rented for 5 months was convenient and it was good value for the money. Pros: The store manager Orlando, was a pleasure to work with and he helped us all the way from reservation to vacating the place. He made the process easy. Cons: I think a racoon got into my unit. It left paw marks on an exposed sofa and bit into a box. Luckily nothing was damaged.
