I only needed a place for some boxes for a few days, because of a crap moving companys BS service. My building only accepts deliveries Monday through Friday, and the moving company came on Sunday against my written request. The property manager hooked me up with an 8x10 room, which is way more than I needed, but easy to reach and had a bonus of a light in the room, which is not a regular feature. It was a little over $50 for the month which included their $1 promotional month rate (only applied to this size, not smaller) plus $24 administration. I didnt have my own lock on me and bought one of theirs for $19. And then there was insurance for about $11. Im getting a few dollars back since I was only there 3 days. were there when I arrived. In spite of my level of anxiety due to the moving companys lack of care regarding NYC building schedules, Charles stayed calm and walked me through registration and showed me a few rooms while the movers were outside eating the pizza I got them. Registration is set up to take a half hour. I didnt know this, otherwise I would have asked more questions on the phone when setting up this emergency back up situation. During the paperwork process, the mover called saying they had to leave. They had been patient enough and registration was taking a long time. took initiative and stepped in to assist the movers to the room I had chosen. By the time I was paid up for the first month, the movers had finished loading the room. I went back a couple times to retrieve items. Each time, everyone at the front desk was cool and willing to help. (If youre not from NYC, dont expect people to be all smiley. This is what is meant by New Yorkers being real; no fake stab-you-in-the-back-later smiles.) Four stars instead of five because hours arent so great, though its understandable since security is top priority, and the location is a bit off the beaten path. In other words, there will always be an employee there during access hours. Some storage facilities have no visible employees on site during access hours. Wished I could access my space at 9am, but had to wait until 9:30.

Please read the entire review! Rosemary is one of the nicest people I have ever met. We were running behind due to Jersey traffic while making a 10-hour trip, and were going to make it to Public Storage just as it was closing. Our car was absolutely packed with stuff and we needed to unload it that night. I asked Rosemary if anyone at their location would be able to stay a little late if I threw in $20 cash. She said "Keep your money, just let me know when youre close." I hadnt even signed up for a storage space yet! When we finally made it to Public Storage 2 minutes before closing, she showed me our unit and signed me up, let our cat stretch its legs in the office, and explained all the policies and answered all my questions. I give Rosemary and her location 5 stars. I would take a star off if this review was just for Public Storage as a company. Several new fees appear when signing up for a unit: $20 for a lock, and at lest $11 monthly for mandatory insurance through the provided company, regardless of any property or renters insurance you may already have. These arent listed on the website when checking rental rates.

I read all the reviews and, while I figured they were probably too good to be true, I was looking at a one day move in and the location couldnt be beat. Turns out all those other glowing reviews are for real. The reservation process was flawless, the pre-move in communication was impressive and informative, and the actual day of was all that and more. Liz was incredibly professional but at the same time both personable and pleasant. Her knowledge of the process, her facility and moving in general was amazing and the host of suggestions which she offered up were spot on - even the ones I didnt take right away. Bottom line, it made what was literally an all day move more pleasant than it had any right to be. Id recommend Hoboken Public Storage to everyone in a heartbeat.

We had a nice experience here dealing with Liz. I reserved the unit online and got a 5x5 for much cheaper than Extra Space was renting it for (their rent increased a little each month to double the rate over the 2 years it was there). We brought our own lock and Liz was nice enough to help us find a unit that had that type of door rather than the built in lock that would have cost us more money. Thanks Liz and we look forward to storing our stufff there. Only downside: the building has only 1 elevator for the 5 floors. Therefore, the move in was a pain since another unit was also moving in. But since moving in it hasnt bothered us.

Extremely professional and helpful. From the moment I clicked to reserve my unit, I was given a call from Maria the Property Manager who set up a time to meet and answered all of my questions. Once we met in person she was very accommodating. The other members of the staff were nice and greeted me as soon as I walked in asking if they could help. Looking forward to using my unit and strongly urge everyone who needs to store some overflow to consider them in the Hoboken area. Also, reserve online before you go in and so everything is seamless (and cheaper) when you arrive!

I have been using Public Storage for the past seven years for a charity I direct and I have found it excellent. It is clean and well run. Its elevators are large and easy to use- not freight platforms like other facilities. I love the security I feel safe on off hours when I am alone. I know no unauthorized persons are roaming the premises The staff ( especially Sandy ) have always accommodated me to the best prices and units available. Public Storage has been more than wonderful I always recommend it to anyone needing storage Now I recommend it via internet.

I have been using Public Storage for the last five years. The place is clean, the spaces easily accessible, the security excellent, and the store carries all you will ever need to safely pack and store your stuff. The members of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and Ruth, the facility manager, is a joy. She is extremely efficient, very knowledgeable and always helpful, and makes me feel welcomed every time. I would certainly recommend the Hoboken Public Storage to anyone looking for this type of facility.

I had a really nice experience booking a Storage unit here. First off, Esmerida is friendly, helpful, knowledgable and really made the experience easy. We were able to get a discounted rate and they have everything you need to get started. Locks are available so you can move in right away. Location was clean, storage unit itself easy to get to (on the 3rd floor, climate controlled) and exactly what we were looking for.

Yesterday I went to the office to sign paper work and pay for my unit. Liz was helpful, kind, and efficient and getting me all set up. I was relieved to see that they have moving carts available for use and that I can access the unit as I please. They also have a variety of packing supplies that I plan to purchase to keep all my belongings in mint condition. Overall, feeling less stressed about my upcoming move.
