Both Tina, the resident manager, and Katie, the office manager, made me feel at home and confident that the experience would be worthwhile. The first thing that Katie did was to advise me that they had a truck that I could use, the first time for free, paying only for gasoline used, to move the possessions to the storage unit. This was after I mentioned that I had already arranged to rent a UHaul for more than $100 to do the same thing. It didnt take me long to cancel the rental. So she saved me a tidy sum right off. Since it was Holiday time there were two trays of home made cookies on the counter for customers to take. They were delicious. The paperwork was extensive but Katie prepped a lot of it from prior conversations and that made the sign up much faster. The office was spotless, as was the restroom. This is a class operation and I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a storage unit.

Not the cheapest place by far, but worth every penny and then some, especially if youre an active business who needs to take deliveries. The level of service here is fantastic--they accept packages for us all the time (weve even had paletted freight unloaded into our unit without us needing to be there to assist), help transfer and load things into the unit, offer coffee and water when were in the unit for a long stretch, and always make the cardboard dumpster available for our packing materials. Also love the 24 hour gated access, the climate control, the fact that you can back a truck up to your unit, and the very friendly and helpful resident manager. Our business has been there a couple years now (we moved here after having an absolutely miserable experience at Public Storage) and have never even considered looking elsewhere since.

I started using Hillsborough Storage with the thought that it would only be temporary until I was able to find something that suited myself and my business a little better. That was nearly two years ago at this point and I cant begin to explain just how happy I have been with the service and quality of the unit I was renting. As my business has grown much over the two years, it had become time to obtain a larger space. I stopped by the office and Tina was nothing short of incredible helping me make a decision on what I should do. At no point did I ever feel pressured into moving into a unit I did not think would be a good fit or hard on the budget. Needless to say I am now in a unit nearly twice the size of my last and I couldnt be any happier. Thank you for taking the headache out of renting.

A few years back I made a move from NYC to NJ, after meeting with many local storage facilities I met with Tina (the property manager) at Hillsborough Storage and knew it was my clear choice! I had many temperature sensitive items that were protected with their climate controlled units that kept my items in great shape. Tinas reassuring and extremely kind presence drew me to Hillsborough Storage and gave me immense piece of mind that my possessions were in good hands and made me feel I was calling an old friend if I had any questions. Tina and Katie have really know how to run a business. They have been kind and courteous through our time renting there. My family has been renting from them for several years now and I would recommend Hillsborough Storage to anyone. Their facilities are well-lit, secure, available 24/7 and have staff in the office for longer hours compared to other places in the area. Ive had to get a new key several times now because I can not find it. They charge $5, and Katie will literally run to your unit to give you a new lock and key. Their pricing is comparable and the free truck at move-in is great.

I was sad to turn in my key! Tina was wonderful from the moment I walked in the door and signed my lease to the day I had to say goodbye. Her attention to every detail made the leasing process seamless and accurate. Her friendliness and cheerful attitude made visiting my unit a pleasure! My unit was clean when I rented it. The office is immaculate and inviting! Even the restroom was a pleasure! I also purchased packaging products. She had just what I needed at a fair price. Incredibly friendly customer service. Tina and the rest of her team went out of their way to make me feel at home there, and to make my brief stay as easy and hassle-free as possible. I really appreciated it! The pricing was great, the policies reasonable and flexible, the units well kept and secure, everything seamless. Moving is so stressful - having a great well-oiled place like this really helped. My experience here contrasted notably with other storage facilities in the area, where Ive had abysmal experiences. Cant recommend highly enough!

Unfortunately, although the representative at the Hillsborough site was very helpful, I need to post this negative review. In bold letters all over there website and advertising, even on thier contact us page, they say free truck rental, three clicks in as i found out after paying $350 per month storage that is only for your move in not out. When I tried to reach an owner or manger to discuss their false advertising I was told they dont speak to anybody and I could not have a number. I would definitely rent elsewhere if you can.

A few months back we were looking for a storage unit for a NY to NJ move. We found this facility in the town we were moving to but they had no availability in the unit size that we wanted. A few days later, they called us back to tell us a unit became available. Amazing customer service! Overall, the storage facility is very clean, well lit, safe and secure (they have a resident manager on premises). All units are ground level and many are temperature controlled. Definitely recommend to others in the area.

My husband and I rented a unit last year at this facility after putting our house up for sale. The grounds and the unit were very well kept, secure and reasonably priced. The rental process was an easy and smooth transaction. We worked with Jane. She was very friendly & knowledgeable and answered all questions we had. I love the fact that this place has 24 hour entry, and the individual alarms make me feel very good about the safety of my items. I would highly recommend Jane and this facility to anyone!

Traveled almost 3000 miles to move my daughter from collage for the summer and with all the stress of flight travel, packing, loading the car multiple times and moving in to the storage unit, Hillsborough Storage managed by Tina was a breath of fresh air.
