Had such a weird problem with my car key that stuck between 0 and 1 position. Key did not come out or turn so I had to tow it to local Auto repair shop which had no information of which shop is reliable since I dont live around my work place. I had to ask around and rely on the reviews. One of my friends had recent business with Walko and recommended so I took a look of reviews from Yelp and Google+. convinced and towed my car to the place and while on the tow truck the driver was also giving a good word on Kyle - who took care of my car. Met Diane who was super friendly and Kyle was also very nice to talk. came back to my place with rental car and next morning I got call from Kyle with estimate of fixing. I was little surprised with bit higher price so I asked why it estimated like that. Kyle explained promptly the cost of parts and labor. I believed in them and he said it would be done in 2 days as they need to order the parts. They were right on the time. I rented car for exact 2 days and everything worked super fast and in right way. when I saw huge chunk of key cylinder part that they took out (and they show me and explained everything- the old key never got out!) I totally understood why it had to cost that much. include 3 new keys and changing all key holes with new parts, it was actually very reasonable price. Again super fast and keeping promised time is super plus. i strongly recommend Walko for any auto job and I am happy that I could know reliable and trustworthy auto repair shop in this town.

Car repairs are scary. Cost, integrity of the mechanic, length of time you will be without your vehicle, and always in the back of your mind "what else will go wrong?" I knew our vehicle, our only family vehicle, needed extensive and costly repair work done and I was nervous. I called Walko after hearing great reviews. From the initial call, I knew I had called the right place. Diane was kind, helpful and polite. Kyle was just, well, amazing. He checked the car over (right down to the lightbulbs that go around our license plate) and called me back within an hour to review. He gave me the prioritized list of what needed to be done, and what could wait as well as an timeline for completion. The estimate was extremely reasonable considering the extensive repair that needed to take place. We secured a rental vehicle for the needed amount of time and gave the go ahead. They completed all the work right on time, and it came in under the estimate! The integrity, honest and forthright business practices, as well as their kind and friendly attitudes is a refreshing change from other experiences I have had with auto repair. Without a doubt, any vehicle we own will be serviced by Walko. Thank you all so much for such a great experience!

I need another star. Five is not enough. I needed to have a battery replaced. Prior to finding this shop, I went to Auto Zone. I called first before going and advised them that I needed my battery replaced. After giving them the year, make and model, I was told to come in. I got a jump and headed to Auto Zone. Long story short, they told me that it looked like it would take them about an hour to replace the battery. Unfortunately, they could not assist me. I wished they had told me that over the phone. But it is what it is. In desperation, I purchased a battery. I wanted to see if I could find another place to install it. I did some research and found Walko Automotive on line. Their reviews were good. So I decided to take my car there. And boy am I glad that I did. They charged me a little UNDER $300.00 for a battery and they changed some wiring, In addition, they replaced a bulb for my headlight. These people rock! I am so glad I found Walko Automotive Service.

Its good to see good honest people still exist. I took my truck to the chevy dealer and was told the hybrid battery needed to be replaced $5000. I googled hybrid repair facilities and found Walko. After speaking with Kyle for 2 minutes I was already comfortable and sent the truck to him. I never met these people and just trusted them with my $12,000 truck. After the service I received and the honesty I would send a million dollar car to them and sleep very well. They explained every process to me and i understood it and it made sense, then their pricing was no where near the $5000 quoted by the dealer. The funny thing is I am glad my truck had a problem because now I met a service shop that I will use for life. These guys say what they mean and mean what they say and their work is top quality, dont take my word for it just call and you will see what I mean.

What an outstanding, ideal, model mechanic and business! After much research and speaking with several mechanics and repair techs, I found Walko Automotive to be the best solution to my bad hybrid battery. Walko Automotive helped replace my 2007 Toyota Prius battery in less than 2 hrs for THE MOST reasonable price. They offered a two year warranty and with their already outstanding business history, Master Tech certifications with hybrid vehicles (and any vehicle really), and a positive, family-oriented atmosphere, they were sure to deliver in every way you would expect the best and most trustworthy mechanic should. Thanks to Andy, Kyle, Diana and the rest of your team involved in helping solve this issue. You all have my business for life! :D :D :D

After today I am definitely a Walko customer for life! I really cant stress this enough. They had an opportunity to either screw me over or stand behind their work and they did the right thing and fixed the issue, no questions asked, to the tune of $200.00 out of their own pockets to make a job right. I had only been in their shop two other times previously, but today they treated me like I was family. Their work is fairly priced, quickly finished, and theyve always communicated what is going on before, during, and after the job. As long as I am living in NJ I will be taking my car to here.

Really great service and very honest operation. They dont make up issues to get your hard earned money and they have your car ready in a timely manner. Great customer service and a family owned and operated business. Very rare to find these days. Even though there are other mechanics closer to me, I make the time and go out of my way to take my familys cars to Walko. Our family has been a returning customer for over 10 years and we will continue to. My only wish is they do do more with mini coopers, I would prefer Walko over the dealership for maintenance of my mini cooper.

Ive been having my cars serviced here for more than 20 years, but yesterday proved that they are the best place around. After being told my another repair shop that they couldnt find anything wrong with my battery, starter or alternator, I took my car to Walko because I was sure that Id continue to have problems with my car not starting. They found the problem - it WAS the battery, proven by their state-of-the art testing equipment. Battery replaced. Problem solved. A happy customer.
