This place is so much more than a repair shop. It should be described as an auto care center. We brought our company van to Winter Auto Repair expecting the worst news and at least a full day of labor as we had been told by another repair shop. There is no better surprise than to find out, it needed a battery, and only two hours of labor. The entire experience was a pleasure from the friendliest reception with the warmest welcome to a mechanic who not only diagnoses your vehicle but actually talks to you about it. I found it so valuable that the recommendations were explained to me in a very clear and simple manner. They told me what I needed, and what I "could" use and gave options for other items. There was no sales pressure, and no fear factor that other repair centers and dealerships use. I was so impressed with their work and customer care, that I recently returned with my personal Jeep to assess a horrifying noise coming from the front end. It sounded like metal hitting metal at every turn. I was worried about what that was going to cost. Turns out it was a bushing. A $2.00 part and minimal labor. I look forward to working with these guys again in the future. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Like most consumers you start slowly and build trust. That is how I started with Winter Auto Repair. I brought in my BMW X3 to be fixed for a number of lights on my dashboard that had turned on. Chris, the owner, told me that he had the state of the art diagnostic computer that would allow them to pin-point the exact issues as to why my car had given me those warning lights. This story is similar to most us with import cars when we need repairs. Winter Auto Repair was the third place I had taken my car too. I was skeptical of his claim but needed a good auto mechanic. The outcome - His mechanic identified the problems. - They called me with an estimate of repairs, time to fix and they gave me options before starting job. - I agreed on the service and it was done right to my satisfaction. - Now, I bring all my family cars for servicing and repairs. - In conclusion, Winter Auto Repair are straight forward as to what you need and fair as to price.

My ex-husband was a mechanic for over 35 years and recommended Winter Auto to me. Chris has always been very accommodating and never once treated me like I was a woman that didnt know anything. I have been dealing with Chis and his crew for over two years and never once have they been anything but honest. I am not very trusting with other people working on my vehicles, so I always have the estimates checked by my ex and they were always fair and honest. Chris has worked with me when my funds were tight, keeps me informed when services are due, promptly fits me in even when his schedule is tight, and ALWAYS keeps me informed if I leave the car for any diagnosis. I feel confident to recommend him to all my friends and family. Thanks to the entire crew for always greeting me with a smile!

My daughter was having trouble with her tires losing air and the dealership said they plugged the tire and they were okay. The tires were not very worn looking, but she was still having trouble with them losing air. She brought the vehicle to Winter Auto to have an oil change and while it was on the lift Chris came out and asked her if she was having trouble with her tires. She replied yes and then he showed her that the tires actually had dry rot and they needed to be replaced. We were very happy that he let us know this and replaced the tires through him since the dealerships repair department did not see this. She was amazed at how much better the vehicle performs with the new tires. As a mom, I also feel much better knowing her car is safer with new tires.

I needed the front struts changed on my Jeep truck and I found this shop on the KYB Americas web-site. Being a car enthusiast, I always make sure that the job is done right on my car. The lady on the phone was very rude from the start and refused to answer a couple of simplest questions about the warranty on KYB parts, price of the struts I need, etc. In a very rude form she was talking over me and asking me to make an appointment. When I asked to speak to her manager or the owner of the shop, she declared she is the manager and continued asking me if I want to make an appointment talking over my attempts to ask my questions. Very rude and unprofessional people! I suggest you spend your money somewhere else if you care about your car.

As the owner of Winter Auto all I can say is thank you to our loyal customers. I started working on cars when I was a kid and still enjoy it today. Our head mechanic has been with us for 14 years now. Lisa our service writer is a Robbinsville local who takes the time to explain our work to everyone. We took over Fingers Radiator in 2010 so we do fix a lot of air conditioning and radiators but thats not all we do. With our racing and exotic car background, we can handle anything from engine and transmission rebuilding to oil changes and brake jobs. Come in and see why we are different. Some guy wrote a review about his truck being with stuck with this repair shop for over a month and nothing was done to it. Now after having a brush with Mr Winter Im left speechless at the greed and what lengths hell go to take your money. Never again ! Plus horrible woman at the front desk. Never again !
