Wonderful experience here! First of all the facility is very clean and you have a lot of options for VERY good prices. The staff is SO friendly, they make you feel comfortable from the minute you walk in (Kay and Walter when I was there). They work with you, they explain everything thoroughly, cover all bases, and not to mention they are also extremely patient! I had to make several changes with my move-in date, time, and even which size unit and Walter helped me with a smile the whole time. He had no problem walking me to several different units, back and forth while i decided which size. I was able to make the best decision for what I needed because he put no pressure on me while also being a pleasure to chat with (as was Kay on my first visit a few days prior). I would definitely recommend this storage facility to anyone!

I have had a unit with extra space for about a year, and as of now I have very few complaints. The facility is clean, well maintained, organized, and managed. Units are easily accessible, yet never feel insecure or vulnerable. I have only 2 grievances worth bringing up. Since I have started renting my monthly payment has been increased slightly (less than $10). The unit that I rent (advertised as a 5 x 5), isnt quite as large as it is advertised (I have a box spring and mattress which measure exactly 60" across the face stored there, and they have to sit on a diagonal to fit), it is more likely 2 to 3 inches shorter per side than advertised. This would not keep me from recommending Extra Space in the future.

This might the 5th place Ive ever rented storage space from. The space is like any other clean the staff here was friendly...BUT do not rent here you will get ripped off, Ive have never ever had rent increases ever, but in the course of 1 year they raised my rate twice, and the first time I was overseas so wasnt able to move out and the next one, I didnt get the notice till about a week before it started. I never write negative reviews, if I dont like something I dont say anything and or I dont go back. But with something like this I felt it needed to be said. Also the rent increases where significant, for 5x10 Im now paying $164

Ive had an extra space storage for about 5 months in order to prepare for a move. The facility was clean, and well lit, and has easy access to get to and from my space. The staff there was very helpful and friendly when I first signed up and have remained so. I remembered when I did first rent the space, I even said to the people there that it looked like a good place to work. You can always tell when people like to work where they do. It shows in how they treat their customers.

I had a GREAT experience at Extra Space Storage. I was away for a year and felt confident and comfortable stowing my things here. The facility is impeccably maintained and the staff is both friendly and professional. Nicole, Eric and Kay are wonderful and helpful and fun! I wish I had more things to store - even living in NYC, Id choose Extra Space Storage! If youre looking for the perfect place to store your belongings, youve found it!

Large 2-level truck terminal style facility with great access and plenty of parking. You could pull an 18-wheeler up next to the building and unload with no problems, thats how big this place is! The building is dry, well-lit and amazingly clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Kay is great and took the time to show us the storage lockers, access doors and other important details. I would definitely recommend this storage place.

Facilities are clean but get ready for 7-10% increases every nine months after your initial term! That translates into a 9.33% to 13.33% annual increase in rates! Once they lure you in with the initial special rate, and if you stay longer than a year, they will jam you with multiple rate increases. The manager told me that they just increase the rates every nine months because it is an industry standard!

The staff here is very helpful and knowledgable. The units and property are always very clean. There is no fence around the property and the property is in a secluded commercial park. Outside units are vulnerable to theft, so check their track record. Also, costs are somewhat high compared with other areas, but this maybe due to the lack of storage facilities in the area per capita.

Do you think its good to have your rate almost DOUBLED in one year? I started out with a $27.00/Mo unit. It is now $44.00! If my unit started out at $400.00/mo - would it be ok if at the end of the year, it was $700.00?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING? Its the same old story: Once they have your crap - sit back and wait for the ransom notes. And, at this place, they come often

Kay, Eric and Walter were professional and patient with explaining everything to me. I felt confident in the decision that I made with storing my valuables here. The facility is very clean and the people are the best! Update: Had to make some changes to my account and the staff here was a pleasure to work with again. Would leave another 5 star review if I could!

Just rented space yesterday and it was exemplary. Nicole and Erik were a pleasure, theyre professional and efficient. They answered all my questions, made sure I understood all the terms, and were pleasantly helpful. The facility itself is large and clean, and seems well secured with lots of camera coverage, and a convenient location.

Not only is this storage facility clean, bright, background music and well equipped ( carts, fire extinguisher in every corner, well paved on the outside, well stocked on forgotten items i.e. string/tape/boxes ) but the staff is very eager to please. clean restrooms definitely a plus !!! only draw back is my GPS couldnt find it ?

Nicole, Eric, and Kay were so incredibly helpful - my phone broke and they were very helpful in getting me a cab home. The facility is very clean, super safe with cameras everywhere, plenty of loading bays, and the units are very large. Highly recommend using them. The staff here is always amazing and super super helpful.

As others have stated, the facility is clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Inside is secure, I never feel that I am leaving my belongings at risk. Only issue is that I signed up because it was the lowest price I found in the area, but my "rent" has since increased twice (by about 10% each time).

I have used this storage company twice before and I just used it again. They continue to be great at what they do. Kay and Walter are efficient, friendly, and helpful. In addition, they anticipated what I needed when I did not think of it myself. They and Extra Space Storage are stars!! 5 stars in fact!!!

I looked all around my area for a quality storage unit at a fair price. Well I found it in Hohokus, NJ - Extra Space Storage. Staff = Incredible...Unit = clean and easy to get to.
