Ive been with many storage facilities over the years and can say by far Extra Space Storage in Howell is the one that sticks out in my mind as the best in more ways then just one. The staff, in addition to explaining the costs and moving in process in an easy to understand way, have been helpful in many other ways. They helped me estimate which size unit i would need based on just a handful of things i could list i would be storing there and it was exactly what I needed. But other then the fact that the staff are knowledgeable and helpful with the storage aspect, they are all extremely friendly and never hesitate to take time out of their day to have a conversation and get to know (people like myself renting a unit) personally. They care about their customers and it shows. I would recommend Extra Space in Howell to anyone in the area looking for a storage unit thats affordable, safe, well lit and appreciate staff that go above and beyond for their customers. Moving is extremely stressful. I have moved 4 times in the last four years. It is anything but a pleasant experience for me... Until I was referred to the Howell location of the Extra Space Storage company. The on site Manager, Valdet Kolic, was very informative and friendly. I felt appreciated as a customer which is very rare these days. Valdet provided me with a place to store my belongings, and provided a method of transport for my clothing that would be traveling with me, ie wardrobe boxes (transports expensive clothes on hangers in a sturdy contained box instead of folding/ throwing expensive dresses ect into a suitcase). Thank you Extra Space Storage. Thank you Valdet Kolic for making a stressful time so much less stressful.

Friendly and clean, close by me. But last Sunday night I went to leave and the gate wouldnt go up, I had to get out go through the door put in my code like I was coming in and my wife had to drive the truck through. If she wasnt with me, I dont know what I wouldve done. I tried calling both the number on the gate and the 1 800 number, didnt get any help on either. It was a Sunday, so they were closed. As we were leaving a another car was coming in, I quickly got out and told her of our problem and she was alone, so she thanked me for the warning. I wonder how many other people had the same thing happen to them that night? I wont be dropping off anything by myself while the office is closed.

Ive had a unit here for about 3 years. Every single time Ive needed to go to the office to pay a bill or call on the phone for questions, the man Valdet in the office has always been so polite and helpful and sincere and friendly! Its like how customer service use to be in the old days. It makes my heart feel good that there are still companies who value hiring TRUE customer service employees that really invest themselves and their positive attitudes into each interaction with a customer. The site manager Valdet was extremely knowledgable, patient, and professional. I had a lot of questions and a lot of personal house hold items that needed to be stored in a short amount of time and Valdet made this experience very very easy and understandable. The site was extremely clean and I could tell that the site manager works extremely hard to accommodate not only the customers but to take care of the property site. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who appreciates cleanliness and professionalism and a great level of customer service!!!!!!

Never having been to a self storage facility, I had most recently gone to Extra Space Storage in Howell with many questions. The site manager, Valdet, was kind, personable and most importantly knowledgable of the space, pricing and all around procedure. Upon a brief tour of the facility, I had come to find that the site was extremely well-maintained and clean. I havent had to use storage too often , but this was one of the best Ive encountered. Very clean, professional and knowledgable. I didnt feel pressured into getting anything, they knew exactly what to do and what I needed. Excellent customer service overall for any business out there and great store manager, very friendly experience. I went there to store furniture for the company that I work at, and was initially uncertain what to expect. However, shortly after our arrival, my coworkers and I were greeted and assisted by the friendly, helpful, and diligent staff there, the store manager Valdet was able to really help us and make the process easier on us, and ensured that we will likely be using their services again. 10/10, would recommend to use this storage group to others.

This was my first experience renting at a storage facility and I have no reason to try anywhere else. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I spoke with them over the phone and then went to the Howell location to sign paperwork. They showed me the unit, answered all my questions, and had me in and out and on my way very quickly. Overall I am satisfied and would highly recommend this facility to anyone with storage needs.

I stored stuff at Extra Space in Howell for an extended period of time. The staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly; especially the manager Valdet!! Always answered any questions appropriately. The units are clean and roomy. I felt save having my belongings at the facility and felt assured that everything was safe! If needed I would store my belongings there again in the future! Highly recommended!

I was originally at an extra space near Atlantic City NJ and due to relocation, I decided to move. Although the Howell location was a little far from my home, it was the most inexpensive. The staff are well knowledge about the company and policy, provide great support, service and conversation. They do well in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. Thank you guys and I am sure I will see you soon!!!!

Very available, very helpful. When cleaning my unit for a week straight in a heat wave office workers came to check on me and offered to visit the office to cool down if I needed a break. Very upfront with cost and procedures. Having used Public Storage in the past I would definitely recommend Extra Space and if I need storage again in the future these guys are my new go to.

Valdet and Amanda made my move into extra space storage quick and easy. My space was saved for me by the internet call center and when I arrived for my appointment Valdet was very helpful in answering all my questions and concerns I had.
