They have to be one of the most inconsiderate and unreliable contractors I have ever experienced. I contacted them through Sensible Home Warranty due to a leaking hot water heater. I scheduled service for a Tuesday afternoon and they never showed, never called. I left a message after 5pm and not even the courtesy of a call back or a response. SHW rescheduled them for early Thursday morning , I called at 10am and was told the tech would arrive right after lunch. I called again at 3pm and was told he was on his way. Finally, I called at 5pm and a woman at the office said she would contact the tech and find out when he would arrive. I received a call back stating that the tech said, since the water heater was leaking, I needed a new water heater, and they would order and install it either Friday or Saturday. I told her that was ridiculous since they didnt even know what type or size water heater I needed and if it even needed to be replaced. She said they would stop out and look at it first and wanted to know if I would like to schedule an appointment. I told her that I would schedule an appointment with another plumber and that their service was an embarrassment. She told me that she was sorry I felt that way and to have a nice day! How does a company like this stay in business?

I have a contract with American home shield, I live in Nutley NJ and i have to say the service i received was above and beyond exceptional. Plumb tech originally told me they were located in phillipsburg, i hesitated to use the company, at first, because i feared loosing a few days for an appointment (as i have children and my heat had been out all night already) because of the drive time the service technician would have to make. I was suprised to receive a call 15 minutes after my call was placed to AHS and plumb tech said they could be out the same day. From the minute i received the call up until the technician left my house i was treated with the utmost respect. Keith, the tech that came out had a wonderful knowledge of the unit and he even went to a local supply store to pick up the part and install it the same day, they did request the service fee up front for the work but that is per the AHS contract. nothing is ever done before being paid for, so i agreed happily. I am 100% satisfied with the service i received and i will continue to use plumb-tech for all of my plumbing/ heating needs.

If you could give 0 stars then I would, we got assigned these guys when we lost our heat and hot water a few weeks ago by our home warranty company. They came out to inspect the issue and stated that a burner needed to be replaced, this would take a further week to get the replacement. They came back a week later and replaced the part, hot water and heat was restored for around 3 hours. We got back in contact with the insurance company and they sent another company out, the new company were confused why these guys did what they did when they found the root cause of the issue very quickly which resulted in us being out of pocket substantially and also meant that these guys used up our allowance ( which we have not been able to recover). Their negligence has cost us dearly financially.

I would give these guys zero stars if possible. Tech was assigned by Lowes to install a range and a microwave. Was supposed to come out on Friday. Did not show up because they could not get their vehicle started ( all it needed was to be jumped). I was told they would come at 8:30 the next day. They didnt arrive till 9:30. They dragged dirt and mud throughout my house and began to uninstall my microwave and range. They then told me because I was rude and demanding a discount that they were not going to do the install. They cancel an appointment which I took off work for, show up late the next day, drag dirt and mud throughout my house and I was the rude one?

Had one of their plumbers come out for a leak I had under my sink 2 months ago-fixed the leak-at least I thought so--and he had to come back to fix the repair he made--found another leak-called them back explained the situation and NO CALL BACK!! The cost was $175!! Had to call another plumber to remedy the leak that should have been fixed right the first time!! Would never recommend them to anyone!!!

I have excellent service everytime I use this company, they have been my service company for plumbing for the last two years under a service contract. They give me the best prices and never have charged me unfairly, in fact most times they give me a discount or arrange payment arrangements on more costly repairs. Thanks !

Great experience 2X with Plumb Tech! The owner called me personally and spent 15 minutes on the phone with me to make sure he understood the problem before sending out a technician. Tech was polite and professional. Rates are fair and reasonable. I wont hesitate to call Plumb Tech next time something breaks!

This company blows and I would not recommend them to anyone. They do not answer phone calls and refuse to respond to voice mails. You would be better off just fixing your plumbing issue yourself.

I will never do business with them at all. Did not show up for the appointment. Very hard to catch them on the phone. I have no hot water for 3 weeks. I end up getting someone else to fix it.
