I went to this Hair Cuttery for a fix to a haircut and style I received at Supercuts in Iselin because I was told at work that my hair looked choppy. I stopped by the Hair Cuttery and explained my situation. She looked me up in the system and said itll be free because were fixing it. She gave me a form to fill out but I had to re-explain it was at a Supercuts and that my hair was choppy and I wanted it fixed. My hair was short higher than my chin. She did not go over any prices with me before starting on my hair and she didnt tell me there was a Supercuts right across the street. She barely trimmed the hair and was going to send me on my way with wet hair. I asked her dhouldnt we dry it to see if it has been fixed? She does not know how to blow-dry hair she left it completely frizzy. I looked at her like she was crazy. So she had no flat iron and was begging the other stylist to borrow hers. Clearly they didnt like each other. She didnt even know how to properly flat iron hair! It still looked choppy so I asked her why? She said "oh thats not something I can fix". Why didnt you tell me this sooner? I wouldve never sat down. I justed wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. I did leave a $5.00 tip because I know they need it but I didnt even realize she had charged me $45 for what she did until I got home! I immediately called and asked to speak to the manager. She was unavailable so the lady took all my information including my email and promised someone would get back to me. Till this day Ive never received a call back. I went online to look at their prices and they are ridiculous for what you get. I will never go here again.

I was looking for a place to get my hair cut and have to admit I was a little unsure about this place.... it was a Sunday and I didnt have many options because most places were closed. I am a female and i wanted a stylish bob haircut. So I went! I have neverrrr been more happy! My hair was cut by Maggie. She was wonderfullll! I explained to her the best I could what I wanted and she took the reigns and my hair looks absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! What I liked best was she really took her time...showed me how to style it and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I dont normally write reviews but this was such a great experience I had to. I will continue to go here..I actually cant wait to go back! Thank you Maggie!

I love this salon! I have been going to different Hair Cuttery locations for years and this one is my favorite. I see Joseph; he is so knowledgeable and talented! I will follow him wherever he goes- he is wonderful and I am so lucky that I found a stylist that understands the science behind the work- and has just a fabulous personality too!!! My husband and I saw him again this weekend and he did such a great job with both of our hair! Thank you Joseph and everyone else at Piscataway for being so professional, friendly and welcoming!

I had a terrible experience at this salon. The hair dresser didnt listen to me and butchered my hair. She ended up admitting she didnt know what she was doing after cutting off half of my hair. Then her and the rest of the staff argued with each other about which method to go with to achieve the cut. My beautiful long (mid-back length hair) is ruined. I had to walk out and find another salon to fix it, but the damage is done, and the only thing I can do is wait the 2-3 years for it to grow out to a normal length. I was traumatize.

I had an irritating experience today. The stylist who cut my hair was new and didnt even know how to blow dry my hair. She wet my dress and my whole back when washing my hair. I asked to retain the length. She didnt even touch the dead ends. She didnt know how to do the angel in the front, she had to get another person to do it. Forget about the blow drying; my hair looks so frizzy after getting a salon blowdry. I was totally unhappy with the experience.

It was really bad experience this was the third time i went to the salon, previously i went twice and i really had a good experience. The hairstyler ended up cutting my hair too short, although i told her to cut an inch and she cut off more, she says that if you tell inch that it does cut more. Usually my hair style is layers and she made my style horrible no layers and simple hair cut. I think her name was Doneicia and she dont know how to cut hair.

There are great hairstylist here...they are all very competent in there craft while maintaining great customer service....recently had my hair cut by Stephanie she is the absolute best there is.....I am very picky in who cuts my hair and she perfects it with such ease and professionalism...she is second to none....also she is very beautiful!!!!! If you ever need your hair done or cut go to this salon theyll take very good care of you

Avoid! May be mine is the only such experience, but the female stylist lacked even the basic hair cutting skills. The staff was very unpleasant and rude to customers. I now have to wait at least a month to look normal. :( I would say self-cut your hair rather than visiting this place. Also, she would have just been back from her cigarette break and avoided cleaning hands, smelled horrific! No way, if you are an asthmatic.

ZERO STAR. This place is worst. I went for hair cut, I told the lady that I want my top hair to be 1 inch long and she cut it down to quarter inch. Who does that? I would highly recommend not to go to this place. I would rather leave my hair long than going there. The only reason I went there because it is close to my house. DO NOT GO THERE. HIGHLY UNSATISFIED.

I had the best experience at this Salon, yesterday! Ive been there before and they are always my first choice. Amy did my hair and it was the first time she had done it. Omg she is awesome. She is so talented. My hair looks amazing. She took her time and explained everything she was doing. My style isnt easy to do and she nailed it flawlessly!

Amy was my hair stylist and she did a good job! She cut off a little extra too much hair. I Wanted 4 inches cut off and she cut off 6 inches, but the way she cut my hair was very nice. She was friendly and sweet. I was happy with the new haircut and the short hair.

This salon is great. I have been about 5 times...the staff are always so friendly. Yesterday Faby did my hair and it was so awesome... color, cut, blow dry for such a great price - beats $300 in NYC any day! Clean, convenient and quick, so great!

I love. Going there for Jose. He is probably one of the best there. and I dont let many ppl cut my hair. He takes normal blowouts and makes art. Absolutly love going there for him. His personality is also so great and friendly. You cant go wrong.
