This is a newer location, with top-shelf exercise equipment and several exceptional trainers (at least the ones Ive met have substantial physiology and sports therapy backgrounds -- including post-graduate level studies!), who are very focused on the individual regardless of age or level of conditioning. Their motto about "no judgments" is something by which they live, and it provides an environment where competitive pro-level athletes and occasional exercisers can work out comfortably, side by side. The hydromassage unit is a remarkable addition, especially for those easing back into an exercise regimen. The only aspects preventing a 5-star review are a lack of attention to some equipment upkeep, and basics like replacing spent lightbulbs. The hydromassage asset appears to have spent as much time out of commission & needing service as its been operational over the past 4-6 weeks, which is unfortunate for members who patronize Crunch/Toms River because of that feature, which is unique in the area. Still, it is an impressive, and still welcoming, facility with the opportunity to exceed the capabilities of competing health clubs with a bit more attention to the basics.

Overall, the gym has what you need to maintain a workout routine minus the traditional sauna, court, pool, spin room, or smoothie bar. I would like to see more of the multifunctional machines like the Jacobs ladder, spin bikes, and TRX ropes available to the public than just for classes. Most of the staff and trainers are very friendly and helpful. The trainers keeps the extra workout goodies behind their counter and usually let you grab what you need for your workout besides the borderline obese male trainer who is on a power trip, and wants you to ask before you take something. Majority of the customers look depressed as if they act they are back on the ole treadmill again; maybe just be a general attitude of the NJ area. Bottom line, with the affordable price for membership, the gym has what you need to do work minus the thrills of a superior gym.

I would like to give a shout out to Crunch gym in TR for their hospitality! I am super bad at names (would like to name all 3 ladies)I was in town for my daughters swim meet,and as a peak member of my gym in Garwood I can go to other Crunch gyms while traveling.Another great reason to join. I took 2 classes Saturday morning a belly butt boot camp followed by a trx circuit class.loved it and met another instuctor taking the class next to me named Theresa. She told me she was doing a tred shed class Sunday morning so I came back and took a yoga body sculpt and then her class.These women are incredibly supportive and encouraging during and after the class ends and I would like to thank all of them for their class act #keepingitreal

Had a hacked card on file called and emailed the gym and the gym manager Mike. Told him to freeze the account and I would be in with a new card when it came in the mail. He went ahead and tried to run it anyway. I have tried to settle up at the gym twice now the counter person could not do it. Been in contact with Mike via email numerous times was told Taryn would be there and that she could take care of it yesterday drove to the gym at 4:30pm Tayrn was not there. The girl at the counter deserves 5 stars she was extremely nice and helped the best she could. I refuse to pay an additional $10 to pay over the phone through ABC Financial because none of the counter employees can fix this problem.

This place has taken a serious turn in a negative way. Ive been a member for over a year and Im seriously considering leaving for somewhere else. First, repairs never happen. Urinals in the mens bathroom have been out of service for MONTHS. Second, waaaaaay too many new members, its nearly impossible to get on equipment anymore. I understand the need to run a business but its getting out of hand. I have to come around 8 or 9PM to ensure Ill be able to comfortably get through a workout. I will say the staff are great, always super nice. FIX THAT BATHROOM THOUGH. Im giving them a month more and then Im out.

New State of the Art gym - cant beat the price and kept immaculate. Also - Fischer Plaza has a child care center available for hourly drop off . Child Care of Toms River.
