My Customer Review of AAMCO in Turnersville, NJ The check engine light came on in my 2008 Saturn Vue, with only 79,016 miles. The vehicle downshifted and I was referred to AAMCO in Turnersville by the mechanics and management at Mavis Tire & Auto, whom I have trust. I was warmly greeted at AAMCO by Rocky, a seasoned professional. He serviced as my customer service liason. Rocky provided full transparency of AAMCOs assessment process and kept me fully apprised of the status of my vehicle via phone and email. This included submission of a written cost estimate. My vehicle was repaired within 72 hours at a very affordable and reasonable price. I would highly recommend AAMCOs services and cannot say enough about Rocky, my hero! Rocky is an exemplary example of quality customer care and facilities management. AAMCO is very blessed to have Rocky and kudos to the mechanics who have refined their craft. The work they perform is restorative, transformational, and greatly appreciated by the owners of their vehicles. Thank you AAMCO of Turnersville! Sincerely, Felecia D Ward

Place is full of LIARS and is one big RIP-OFF. Wanted brakes and a/c checked. Was told they offer free computer diagnostic- due to the economy. Had my car for 1hr 15min. - did not show me a copy of the diagnostic, just rattled of a list of things that were allegedly wrong. Said wld not show or give me a copy of diagnostic b/c then I would go to another mechanic. Finally - wrote down pricing of prts that need to be replaced on the back of 4 bus. cards - said normally they dont give pricing in writing. There were two other ppl there having the diagnostic done on their car and according to this place all 3 of us had the same car problem. Plus, when I received my car back saw where they had drove it for 5 miles - probably to pick up lunch. Wasted my time, wasted my gas, place is unprofessional and straight GHETTO. Btw. the sales guy kept referring to their BBB rating - if they want to keep it they shold stop being RIP-OFFs

At first this was a wall of text but let me be brief. CE light is on failed inspection for egr valve. Took to shop a to get an estimate, 900 dollars. Shop B wants 800 and they are telling me the transmission is shot. FYI this car is cared for and runs great never had an issue with the tranny just the egr valve. So simve I heard the dreaded word transmission I took it to aamco so they could give me the bad news and I could junk it knowing that I tried. Dropped it off after hours and called them the next day. $190 fixed nothing wrong with the tranny just a bad egr sensor no vacuum leak none of the other crazy and expensive stuff everywhere else was telling me. So fast, honest, and in no way tried to take advantage of me even though I gave them the the diagnosis of the other 2 shops. Best part is I now have a new local mechanic.

When my SUV started having problems shifting, I had it looked over my 2 different transmission mechanics. Both said I needed to have the transmission totally rebuilt or replaced. Not good news. My neighbor suggested I try the AAMCO dealer in Turnersville, as they had done good work for him. After they examined it, they figured out the computer was actually at fault - not communicating with the transmission. It wasnt shifting, because it wasnt being "told" to shift. The transmission was perfectly fine. That meant a savings of thousands, which is pretty significant these days... I need my vehicle for business every day. Thanks to these folks, I got it back in short order, FIXED CORRECTLY AND HONESTLY - plus saved $$$$!

Took my truck there for a transmission leak. Usually do all my own work but had no time. I didnt have a recommendation, so gave them a shot. Got the truck back for the quoted cost, but service was sloppy and it was hard to tell if the leak had even stopped. Two days later that was answered. Leaking worse. They took it back and fixed again, and said it was a bad gasket. No charge. Well, no fix either. Still leaking. Took it back again today. This time of course it was something different. The transmission needed to be pulled out ($650) and THEN an Id get an estimate. He did offer to apply the old bill to the new repair, but I have no confidence in their shop at this point. Beware. Read reviews before you go!

They are a rip off. Have taken our vehicle on two separate occasions within a year span. We have spent nearly $4500 for service performed which included instructions to do a "thorough" inspection to correct everything required. Two months later there are more issues and their estimate was for an additional $1200 for the water pump and sway bars. Reluctant with their estimate, we took the vehicle elsewhere and the estimate was only <$400 at an independent business mechanic. They took advantage since we didnt know any better and trusted them to be honest. Never going there again.

THEY ALMOST KILLED ME. My transmision was makeing a strange noise. They replaced the transfer case for 1500.00 . And said that was the problem. It was still makeing the same noise. So Itook it back. And they said nothing was wrong with your transmission. So the next week. I went to pass a nother car. And while I was half way arround it. The transmission blew up. And I heard banging and grinding. I had no power and in the wrong lane. With on comming tarific commin at me. Luckily the car moved out of the way. For me to coste back in the right lane. Thanks Turnersville AAMCO.

Dont get ripped off like I did. After replacing the transmission here, we had nothing but problems. The car was constantly leaking transmission fluid. We took it back 3 or 4 times the leaks. They told us it was oil and not transmission fluid. Took it to the ford dealer for the oil leak and was told there was no oil leak. The transmission fluid was almost pouring out. All we wanted was for the car to be fixed so we are now out $480 but it is fixed. Also, the 3 yr warranty we took out on the transmission was a big waste since we will never be going back to this place.

Hello My wife and I have been coming to Turnersville Aamco for years now and we love the experience. The guys there are very helpful and accommodating to our needs. I dont think we would go anywhere else for our cars mechanical problem. They do a great job and stand behind that work. That type of workmanship is hard to find these days, so they have a lifetime customer with us. From my Coll, myself, and "Big Blue" we thank you.

This is the place to go. Very professional, courteous, respectful, clean and caring. The rates are reasonable, especially for what they do. They do it right the first time so you dont have to keep going back. They wont try to make you get repairs that you dont need either. They are definitely honest and trustworthy. Its the only place my husband and I go to get our cars worked on.

If it wasnt for these great mechanics, my 13 year old Ford Explorer would never see 200K miles. They do a full FREE diagnostic, explain everything that is wrong and what is needed to fix it. Their prices are the best Ive seen and they always get the job done when they say they will. I go to them when there is a problem and for all the routine things and Ill never go anywhere else.
