These arrogant crooks should be ashamed of themselves. They quoted me in the upper $300s and would up charging me over 1K when it was all done. The charged me for tons of extra boxes, which they did not mark and put in bags we did mark and did not want in boxes as they had nothing breakable in them. In addition they charged 3% for using a debit card and not cash...something they did not advise of in advance. They ate food that they had no right to eat without asking, they drank my beverages without asking, they broke an electic socket cover, broke a piece off my Ikea dresser and on top of all this they were 2 and a half hours late making the move so late we could not unpack anything! This leaves my 16 month old and an 8 month old pregnant wife in bad straights as we now have to work this week and get home really late. Despite having issues and boxing things we did not expect to be boxed and causing a big time inconvenience with their extreme lateness, they thought nothing about charging for every penny they can think of. This issue is not over by a longshot.

I have moved 3 months ego from Brooklyn to Jersey with A-One Moving, and wanted to let everyone know that the move was very satisfactory in everyway. To begin with the first phone call that I have spoken to Susan, I have found her to be very honest and straightforward about every detail of my move. She has explained very precisely in detail all my charges, and answered all the questions that were on my mind. I have found the guys that were moving my stuff to be very professional and were extremely careful in handling all my fragile furniture. I have also noticed that they were very fast, and did not waste a minute. Mark was the job manager, and he too was very nice and polite. Overall I had a wonderful moving experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend A-One Moving & Storage to everyone!!!

A-1 moved me from Queens to Brooklyn in November. From the first moment I spoke to Suzanne on the phone, doing business with them was a PLEASURE. Suzanne was soooo helpful, quoted me a great price and was straightforward. She gave me all the information I needed. I was nervous about moving, she reassured me that everything would go perfectly and it did. The guys were on time, worked quickly. They were extremely careful and packed everything safely. The move went so smoothly I could not believe it ... and VERY affordable in comparison to other companies I called. Anyone who needs a mover SHOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE A1 !!!

Seriously there was not ONE aspect of this move that was not screwed up. They were lazy, they lost shelves from a large shelving unit, they ruined the mattress by dragging the corners across the road, they did not assemble anything they were hired to assemble, they broke multiple plates due to overstacking and crushing of the boxes. It remains to be seen if they will make good on the money they owe us.

These people do nt know how to talk to their customers, they are ready to fight you back, put everything in writing, they are very rude after getting your money! do nt pay everything upfront!! they make fake promises to their customers! they overcharge me and they delivered my stuff very late! Please stay away from these guys!

I have learned when doing business with a moving company put everything in writing. Make sure you have it in writing that there is no charge for c.c or fuel or the biggest is blankets. This company has been scamming for years and will hope some day will be shut down.

These guys messed up in an incredibly HUGE way today. Straight up no show leaving our entire family in the lurch with nowhere to go. Guessing they lose the account with the company that chose them to move us. But who knows...
