I went to the business June 2016 to have my brakes replaced. Recently, I had my vehicle serviced and was told my front brakes are low and getting out of spec. I called Hunter to get the Warranty work done and was told only the parts had a lifetime warranty not the labor. I said right on your bill of sale it states 12/12 parts and labor warranty. The owner started screaming and arguing with me about he never heard this in his seven years of doing business, and now he will change his paperwork because I was being ridiculous. After stating the brakes failing in less than one year was my fault he said he will do the work because "he have to"! Well, I dont want them to complete the job after this go around with the owner I believe Im not getting my moneys worth. I paid $677.00 for a lifetime brake job, that what I was quoted, my final paperwork says I have a 12/12 parts and labor warranty. I got neither of them, Im not a rich person or have the best writing skills but Im being screwed over and I think the public should know as well prior to going through what I am. The owner screamed, insulted the minimal intelligence I have and made it clear he did not need my continued business. All I want now is either a full refund or send me to a shop of my choice to get the job done correctly.

PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE TO GET ANYTHING DONE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU WITH A BROKEN CAR. WE NEEDED A ENGINE REPLACED IN A 05 MUSTANG WE WERE QUOTED A GREAT PRICE. WE WERE HAPPY THAT THE CAR WAS RUNNING AGAIN. SERIOUSLY THE CAR BROKE DOWN NOT EVEN AN MONTH LATER WE CALLED HUNTERS ABOUT IT AND ALL THE OWNER WAS TRYING TO DO WAS SHIFTED THE BLAME. HE EVENTUALLY FIXED THE PROBLEM IN WHICH WE NEEDED ANOTHER ENGINE BUT WE STILL HAD TO PAY.. MAY BE A WEEK LATER THE CAR STARTED TO SKIPPED SO MY HUSBAND DECIDES TO LOOK AT THE SPARK PLUGS THEY WERE SO DAMAGED THAT THEY NEEDED TO BE CHANGED. ONCE AGAIN WE CALLED HUNTERS THE MANAGER ALL HE COULD SAY WHY ARE YOU EXAMINING THE ENGINE YEAH WE CAN FIX IT BUT IT IS GOING TO COST YOU ONCE AGAIN. AT THIS POINT WE ARE TRIED GIVING THIS PLACE FREE MONEY.. SO WE WERE JUST READY TO TAKE THEM TO COURT BUT HUSBAND DECIDED WE WILL DO IT HIMSELF WHICH HE DID..... ALL OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED HE THEY DID THEIR JOB AND NOT JUST RIPPED OF SOLDIERS BECAUSE THEY THINK THEY GOT MONEY!!!! PLEASE JUST AVOID THIS PLACE

I have been to Hunter’s on three different occasions in the last few months. Very happy with the quality of the service and customer service. Honest, trustworthy. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and the way I am treated every time. I had an appointment today to have my radiator flushed and winterized. I asked the owner to please check the radiator fluid first to see how good it was and if I needed it changed. He checked the fluid and said I was good; no charge. About six weeks ago, I had another vehicle that needed brake work. It was a serious issue. He showed me the problem and was able to do the work that day. Still the price was extremely reasonable. They even drove me to my residence so I didn’t have to wait at the shop. My first time to Hunters, my engine light had come on. Took it to Hunter’s. He diagnosed the problem for no charge even though the vehicle was still under warranty and covered by the dealer. I would recommend Hunter’s to everyone.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! My battery light was coming on, I had to jump start my vehicle twice on the way there.....instead of fixing the initial problem all he did was 525$ worth of BS work! He unplugged my stereo system and called it a day. I paid over 200$ for my check engine light to be shut off, it came back on 3 hours later. He said there was nothing he could do. The battery in my car died a week later! The man is blaming the issue on my stereo, when Im educated enough to know that something is blocking the full amount of voltage going from my alternator to battery. The man is unprofessional & under educated.

If you want honesty and good work done this is the place to go. I was referred here by my friend who had Hunters Detailing fix a window seal leak that a big-name dealer pinched during a bulb change. Since then I have taken both of my trucks there to get their maintenance and anything that needed fixing. The owner goes out of his way to make sure that we are getting the best quality and the lowest price. I love how honest he is, that is truly hard to find in these days of bull-spit. This will be our mechanic during our stay at Fort Drum and we plan on referring everyone we know to him.

This guy is a total POS. We took our car here to be detailed and the work was done was very poor quality and incomplete. When we brought it to his attention he got very defensive and was not willing to complete the job. I will never bring another vehicle here again, nor will I recommend any of my friends to go here.

Completely and totally ripped us off. Took advantage of us and said they replaced a part that is now completely not working months later. DO NOT GO HERE. We are now looking into suing them over it and we will certainly be reporting to the better business bureau as well. Youve been warned!

Took my car in the get service and inspected.. charged over $70 and all they did was check my filters and fluids. They didnt tell me the oil was low and that it was time to have it changed... over $70 for less than 30 minutes of work... what a joke!

Awesome shop. Ive been taking our vehicles here for 3 years + for regular maintenance and repairs. Prices are very reasonable. Everyone there is very nice and accomodating; never disappointed. Definitely recommend this place.

Extremely overpriced, poor service. Take your car elsewhere. His race cars parts are junk and way overpriced, go to syracuse for your powdercoating needs, much cheap and better job.
