These guys are down to earth and honest. At times they may seem tired, and perhaps grumpy, but rest assure they actually CARE about their jobs and put their heart and souls into it, thats why they are so tired. I have been taking my car there to Ernie and Dustin for years and they have always been straight up honest about what was going on with my car and whether or not it was worth the cost of fixing. kept my old 2002 cavalier running for 6 years until the head cracked, in which they told me, get a new car, not worth it. sometimes they let me buy my own parts and bring it to them which saves some cost. they do not try to b.s. you about problems that dont exist, or convince you to drop thousands on a car that just isnt worth it...i have taken my car to another mechanic for a second opinion from time to time, and the guys at oceana are always spot on with what they said. i took my "new" used car in today to have them check if it needed a tune up and take care of a shaking problem. they told me it didnt really need a tune up, but the engine mounts were unstable. they fixed it up for me in a day, which I am thankful for because they are always busy!! if you are looking for highly qualified mechanics who are honest, dependable, and affordable, these are the guys. they are a great asset to the VB community, thanks guys for your hard work!

A mechanic you can trust. I originally had my car inspected at Midas on virginia beach blvd. They failed it for a power steering leak and said the part would be $700 (!) to replace. I took it over to Oceana Muffler, who I told upfront why it had been failed. Not only did they have the car ready in a ten minutes, but they informed me there was no leak, and even if there was it definitely didnt meet the criteria to fail inspection. He was nice enough to give Midas an out, and said perhaps some oil from my oil change had been smudged on it so it looked like it was leaking. Anyway, Oceana easily could have just agreed with my past inspection and told me a more reasonable price. Its nice to know that some people are still honest and I encourage any one to use them if youre having car trouble.

I dont give a 5-star rating to anybody at all really but these guys honestly deserve it. I bring all of my vehicles to them for anything at all that I need. If they cant do it theyll tell you straight up that they cant do it. But 99% of the time they can do anything that I ask. Theyre honest about their pricing and they dont make you wonder if youre getting ripped off. I actually really appreciate the service that they give me and the attention whenever I ask a question. I would definitely recommend anybody in this area bringing their automobiles in for any service.

I have been here for 2 different vehicles of mine and had mufflers put on and both times they were professional and very well priced. I wouldnt say cheap because cheap means bad service. Well priced is a better term or should I say very fair priced. Either way I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for good people, fast service and "Fair pricing". 5 stars for sure!

Oceana replaced my entire exhaust system on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder and did a great job. My truck is a whole lot quiter than it was when I took it in! They are honest and have fair prices, what more can you ask? They even told me I didnt need the two resonators (which were rusted and ready to go) so just ran exhaust pipes in place of those and saved me some money!

Best body shop there is. I was quoted with an astronomical price elsewhere for work that wasnt needed. Oceana Muffler did the job, without replacing unnecessary parts and was able to fix it in about 30 minutes. I do recommend for all military. Thanks again.
