I do NOT recommend this location to anyone . We were on our way home from vacation when a flat happened. We limped the car 55 miles to the nearest help as we couldnt get the spare off from under the car. We FINALLY got to Kost tire 5 min before closing .There were 2 Men behind the counter . I asked if they would be able to get our spare off for us so we could put it on and they said , sure , If we came back in the morning as they were closing . Yes , we explained we were from out of State , yes we explained WE couldnt get Spare to budge , NO we didnt need a repair . We needed a lift to get to the spare and free it. They couldnt be bothered , and didnt care .Hope they had AWESOME dinners waiting !! Support your Mom and Pop Repair shops ! NOT Corporate Franchise owned !!! Small Independent shops CARE about Customers , not the Clock ! ( Seriously , to throw it on a lift and take the spare down would have taken all of what .. 10 min at the most ??? WE would have put it on ! )

They have always been fair to me. Honestly, I hate having to spend money on auto maintenance. Matt who works the counter is a class act. He delivers bad news like an an experienced obstatrition delivers a baby. Even though its painful sometimes it is always necessary. The quality of their workmanship has always been exceptional. I work at a local university and I have often recomended our students to take their cars to Kost for problems. They have not performed unnecessary work and have taken care of our students. For that I am thankful. I would recommend Kost for breaks, tires, and exhaust. While I am never happy to spend the money I appreciate the care and commitment that they take for me and those I have recomended.

FYI...READ THE FINE PRINT..Last year we purchased Kost recommended tires for over $800 for our volvo. Less than 20,000miles later they would not pass inspection. When we went to Kost because the tires had a 50,000 mile guarantee we were told we needed proof of 4 tire rotations for the guarantee. Yes, it says that in the very fine print on the several pages of receipts.... Who does that? ( We take our car to a volvo dealer for regular maintenance.) The guys at the Clarks Summit dealer have always been very helpful and we dont have any problem with the people just the Kost policy

As the store manager, Matt Carpenter, was excellent in his customer service to me. He is friendly, genuine, gregarious and has a ready smile. Hes also really good at his job. I brought my car in for inspection - there were several problems with my paperwork. Instead of just suggesting what I should do, he went out of his way to help me take care of the issues so that I could still get my car inspected today. Hes definitely an asset to Kost!

Through,courteous and completely honest, I cannot praise them enough. A very heartfelt thank-you goes out to Store Manager Matt Carpenter who treated me with friendly professionalism and compassion rarely seen anymore today. Ordered tires from mickey thompson have them delivered to kost tire hade them mounted balanced installed on my 2014 ram .note these were 37 12.50 20s not cheap to do all this and the great Andrew didnt charge me a dime their are some awsome people out their thanks again .Antonio martinez
