Case 1: Mail arrived today...OPENED, TIED IN A RUBBERBAND and placed through the mail slot. An item in the larger envelope which was opened was missing along with the slip with my billing information. I will be bringing this to the attention of the police dept for tampering with another persons mail. Unless the carrier dropped the whole bundle and someone picked it up, opened it up and then slipped it the slot which is unlikely, this would have me believe the carrier him or herself had gone through my mail, figured out what they wanted and then wrapped a rubberband around the bundle and slipped it through the mail slot in a steel door which is locked. Will contact post office and fine the name of the carrier, Wish me luck.. Case 2: Lost my package, it was delivered to the wrong address. 2 weeks so far and no resolution from the post office. It was suggested to me which address it might have gone too. Post office suggested I go to that address and ask for my package back. or track down the realtor of another address which the package may have gone too to ask them to open the door since the house is vacant. Like really? This is your fault, you guys should fix it. Not endorse your mess up to me. So I went to speak to the supervisor who was upset because she was about to eat lunch. Told me there is nothing that can be done. They cannot find the package because the status was delivered even though it is not. They told me that it is out of their hands and is now my problem, I have to open a claim and fight it out with their claims department. Then I was told to stop calling and coming in about the package, just talk to claims.

I would give a minus if allowed. Went there to pick up a package for my husband. Brought with me my ID, his ID and our insurance card, basically everything with our names and pics on it. The female staff at the window was so snappy and told me I cant pick it up because we dont have the same last name. What a joke! Asians never change their names. The office is not far from flushing. They dont even have this knowledge. A very rude, male, short, bald staff wearing earrings came to me while I was explaining the situation to a very nice female African American staff and literally told her to stop talking to me said "theyve already explained to her." At the same time, he pushed an old Asian woman out of the office telling her "you must leave", because she was asking for clarifications at the window. I argued with him, he even said"this is my hall, I have a role here. You dont". Sounds like his the KING of the mail office. What a joke! I reported discrimination and bad attitude of the window staff and that King of the hall at the inspectors office. They replied pretty quickly and apologized about the situation. All in all, this office is in poor management, discriminate asians. The bald male staff should totally be fired.

If i could give 0 stars i would. I have consistantly had a great deal of difficulty recieving packages from this USPS. For some reason, UPS and FedEx have no difficulty delivering my packages in a timely and efficient fashion, yet whenever the task is left to USPS, they arent able to fufill their singular duty. Its not like this is a new organization or anything, theyve had pleanty of time to get the task perfected but they drop the ball 98% of the time. I often have packages ordered with 2 day shipping, they are marked as delivered by USPS, yet they dont arrive. After many phone calls and frustrating back and forth conversations with their frustratingly apathetic "customer service" reps, nothing is ever resolved. I have walked to the post office countless times to physically pick up packages that shouldve just been delivered weeks earluer and werent. They are terrible at their jobs and could care less about the consumer. Its incredibly frustrating and if you are dealing with time sensitive packages, id strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere. USPS of Forest Hills sucks. They dont care, they will always do the bare minimum and pair it with a horrible attitude.

I ordered from The Childrens Place on Sept. 29 On Sept 30. got an email that it was shipped. It was sent to a UPS Post that was later delivered to the USPS Which then forwarded to the USPS at Forest Hills Branch. Forest Hills received the package on Oct. 6th and made an attempt delivery. But because the UPS shipping label was distorted...mailman did not know which apt. So it went back to the Forest Hills branch for further investigation. I think the Forest Hills mail sorter should have hand written the full address with my address and apt # before distributing it to the postman to deliver. I blame the mail sorter. But I got the package the next day when I saw my postman and asked him. That is why Im giving it a 4 star. Message to the USPS branch manager: Please make sure your mail sorters are getting enough help and not stressed. Im sure it will help make your branch operation run much smoother and more efficient. After all, we are all humans eh... not machines.

Mi madre fue a enviar la aplicacion del pasaporte americano tuvo que ir 6am a realizar fila para que le dieran un ticket esperar horas las que trabajan en la oficina postal se la pasan comiendo riéndose conversando entre ellas es de lo peor la atención,no podía creerlo . que método tan ineficiente yo realize mi aplicación en la oficina postal de Brooklyn mediante un appointment me atendieron inmediatamente sin hacer largas filas sin esperar.

WORST POST OFFICE EVER. Some of their delivery guys should be FIRED or even JAILED for what theyve done. 1. THEY NEVER leave any notice or even attempt to deliver. Ive waited too many times at home for the whole day for my package only to find out at 6pm that they apparently TRIED TO DELIVER AND LEFT A NOTICE. Checked the front door, my apt door, and my mailbox - NO NOTICE ANYWHERE. 2. They deliberately SHOVE PACKAGES INTO MY MAILBOX because they dont want to come upstairs to deliver. Theyve DESTROYED many products I ordered, COSTING ME A FORTUNE. A shipment of clothes? I can understand, but THEYVE BENT MY SHIPMENT OF BOOKS AND ELECTRONICS just so that they dont have to go up 1 f**king flight of stairs. 3. Dont even bother calling this place. they will not answer 4. Tellers extremely slow and incompetent. 5. They need to replace a LOT of people working at this branch.

THERE IS A REASON WHY EVERYBODY GIVES THIS POST OFFICE HORRIBLE REVIEWS!!! STAY AWAY- HORRIBLE/ HORRIBLE/ HORRIBLE!! Worst customer service experience ever. This post office lost my package. They said that they had delivered it to my door on a Saturday afternoon when I was home all day. They never delivered anything and are saying that there driver cannot remember the door that he delivered the package too. I am now out the price of my package because these people are saying that the packaged was marked as delivered, I have been contacting them on and off for the last few days, with every time they are saying that there is nothing they can do. This company does not want to work with people, they want to be lazy and blame the purchaser who pays money, rather then their employee who delivers packages to the wrong address and/or steals from them.
