These guys are aces in my book. I spent quite a while researching moving companies to complete an in-town move in Ithaca. I chose OB Moving on the strength of their reviews, but also on their informative web site and ease of communication. It is indeed true that the guys who communicate with you are also the guys who show up to do the move. It was very nice to work with the same person throughout the process. They provided information about the move ahead of time (they quoted me an hourly rate, not an overall fee) and showed up on time with a truck and crew of four. I think the truck and crew size vary depending on where you are moving and how much stuff. I was moving a three bedroom house including a piano. They were very careful and efficient loading the truck--I was impressed by how much attention they paid to how they were packing the truck. They ended up doing two trips for my move, which was only a few miles away. On the unload, I basically just directed where things went, and everything went very smoothly. I dont believe a single thing was scratched or broken. After they were finished, I wrote a check based on the time they spent and they were on their way. Nothing was rushed or done incorrectly. On the other hand, they did work very efficiently and at no time did I feel like they were dragging it out just because it was an hourly rate. The price ends up being much more fair to everyone involved than if a static amount is quoted.

Wow…. Amazing company… I just have no word to explain their service. He did nice job with an affordable price. Initially I was suffering from big stress… But, Thanks Ob moving to make my this stressful task to easy one. They are really superb in New York City moves.
