I decided to use Storage Squad after I had a terrible experience with the Corp Storage last year. The prices for Storage Squad were incredibly reasonable especially if you use their Mega Boxes, which were far bigger than I thought theyd be for $33 a box. However, getting them to pick up my boxes was an extremely stressful experience. I had an appointment set on the day where I had to leave for home. In order to prevent any sort of mix-up I had emailed Storage Squad the night before alerting them to the fact that I would not be present, and whether that would be okay or not. Their response failed to emphasize the fact that someone needed to be present or they wouldnt pick up your boxes. I then went through three days of worrying about whether or not my things would get taken by the University and donated away because each of my rescheduled appointments kept getting delayed due to technical glitches on Storage Squads end. For example, I had put in a rescheduled appointment request for May 15th, and then emailed Storage Squad to confirm my appointment. Even though they responded saying that I had an appointment set for that day, no one ever came to pick up my boxes. I was unable to get my boxes picked up until May 17th, when my initial appointment was the 14th. To their credit, however, the crew that was sent to pick up my boxes on the 17th was very helpful and understanding of my situation, and waited for me to get a friend to let them in. Overall, while the prices were reasonable and the crew itself was very helpful, my experience with Storage Squad is not one that I would like to repeat any time soon.

I had a great experience with Storage Squad! The entire booking and pick-up process was smooth, professional, and efficient. I also loved that the company provided free boxes and tape. On the day of my pickup appointment, the movers texted me in advance to let me know when it was almost my turn. Additionally, I think its great that us customers can "track" where the movers are through the Storage Squad website to give us an idea of what time the movers will arrive. Trey, the mover who helped me, was very friendly and helpful, and he dealt with my 8 heavy boxes with a smile and an easygoing attitude haha. Overall, the total price ended up being around the same as Big Red Storage (which I used freshman year), but thats mainly because most of my boxes were filled with clothes, which arent heavy but take up quite some space. My experience with Storage Squad was much better than with Big Red Storage, and I will likely be using Storage Squad again in the future.

I loved Storage Squad....super efficient, friendly and kind pick up. On time - they said between 9 and 10 and arrived at 945 - and literally took 10 min to get all my 8 heavy boxes down 4 flights of stairs. 2 problems: 1. the guys (college kids) were confused at the beginning when they arrived - for about 15 min were apologizing that they had the wrong number of boxes for me, and that they had to call their boss much to my panic...finally they asked me my name, and when I told them they realized they had the wrong person. Innocent mistake, but not the greatest way to start a move. I recommend, but make sure you tell them your name first if they dont ask! :) 2. I was charged double the price for using a small plastic box instead of a cardboard small box,, without being told about the extra fees prior to pickup. Avoid using those if you want to get the regular charge.

I have used other storage services before but overall StorageSquad had the best service. While other providers would take days to mail boxes and charge me for those boxes, StorageSquad allowed me to place my order and pick up my box within 15 minutes - free and with free packing supplies. The part I was most impressed by was the follow up text message about the 1-hour specific time appointment about when theyll collect your box They also had a great tracking system to see how far away they are from you and were prompt with sending updates.The people who picked up the box provided great customer service and the final invoice experience is helpful with a picture of your item in their storage van so that there is accountability. My only complaints are that the boxes should be way sturdier/more rigid and also a little bigger.

I left two items with Storage Squad, a suitcase and a Storage Squad mega box. However, they only delivered my suitcase because they could not find my box and said that they would resolve the issue immediately. Its been almost a week, and I still have not received my box, and everytime I email the support center, they say that they have contacted the warehouse and will deliver as soon as possible. I am extremely disappointed and angered because I only had two items, and I was the first customer of the day, which meant that the Storage Squad team should have double checked to make sure all of my TWO items were in the delivery truck. I have received no responses since August 21 and I will not be using Storage Squad ever again.

I highly recommend Storage Squad - Cornell! I got free/complimentary boxes and packing tape. On the day of my scheduled pickup appointment, I got a link (via text) telling me how many people were in front of me, so I had a better sense of when I had to be ready. The moving crew was really friendly and patient with me. I still didnt have all my boxes taped and labeled when they got there, but they were really nice about it. I also lived on the eighth floor of a Gothic on West Campus (no elevator!), and the guys carrying my stuff seemed to barely break a sweat - they were pretty quick too! Finally, I found Storage Squad to be cheaper than its competitors, and Ill definitely use them if I ever need summer storage again.

They did not come at all during the box drop off time. I waited 90+ minutes without them even saying that they were going to not come until an hour after I stopped waiting. Then, during the box pickup time, they came 15 minutes before the window that they said that they were going to come at. Its a good thing I didnt make plans, otherwise they would have charged me a late fee when they did not come at the time that they had stated for the appointment. The reason that they still get 2 stars is that otherwise the service was decent. If they can fix these issues, then they would be on the way to 4-5 stars.

I have used Storage Squad for my entire undergraduate experience at Cornell. They are GREAT! The entire process is hassle free. You can get FREE boxes and tape delivered to you, free pickup, cheap storage prices, and free delivery. This year, the pick up was a bit late, but the movers were so apologetic and it wasnt even a problem because I could schedule around it thanks to their tracking option. As a student who lives across the country and doesnt have the luxury of stuffing my stuff in a car and driving it home, I dont know what Id do without Storage Squad!

Ive used Storage Squad a total of three times. Each time, theyve run a little late. This most recent time, they were more than 40 minutes behind schedule. Storage Squad provides storage services to college students, so I am willing to forgive their timeliness for their good rates and friendly customer service. Their process is quite streamlined despite the inevitable delays, and they are kind enough to provide free packing materials. -1 star for their frequent tardiness, but I still absolutely recommend them as the best bargain in the storage business.
