Rita is just the Best!!! She went above and beyond in customer service and taking care of me and my storage needs. I was actually researching different storage companies closer to where I was working and came upon Rita at Public Storage in Garden City. I came into her office and asked to see the different unit sizes and pricing. Rita was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient showing me several inside / outside units and answering all of my questions. I was extremely impressed with how clean the main building is and all the units are. From the minute I came in until I left Rita was doing all she could to help me and assure me of the security of the facilities and storage units as I was concerned for my items. Rita called me several times after I left and I just knew this was the place to go. I signed up online and took advantage of the new customer discounts and went back the same day to sign the agreement. I am 100% sure if it wasn’t for Rita I wouldn’t have taken the storage unit. Call and look for Rita!!!!

Had unit there for about 7 months while moving-- price jumped without any warning-- open from 6-9 however they locked the carts up at 550pm so Id you came after work no cart for your stuff not sure why they had to be locked up. The automatic door had exposed wires and had to put code in multiple times to get in. Staff was often rude and tried to tell me that they did a lock check and didnt see it was vacated and instead of just going and checking quick they tried to insist they could not be wrong. When they finally check said how they could not have believed they missed it and if I hadnt called we would havd continue to be charged!! I think that is their motive though. Not sure why we paid such an astronomical amount and most of the time had no access to a cart and wasted so much time trying to get through a broken door.

I have a unit that I have rented for years, and my boss has two extra large units that he rents. Over the years it has been a pleasure working with Jane, she is efficient, professional and always on the ball. Recently I had an issue that I had to downsize to a smaller unit for myself. Jane knew exactly what I was looking for and within a month was able to fill my needs. On moving day she made the transition as easy as possible and was there in any capacity needed. I have to say that Ed too was a help that day helping us find a cart and directing my husband in the right direction. It was my husbands first experience with any employees at Public Storage and I have to admit he was quite impressed. Thanks for everything!!!

I have been a customer of Jane and Ed at this Public Storage facility since 2008 when I needed extra space after moving my office in 2008 then my home in 2012. In 2012 I sold my house and moved out quicker than expected to accomodate the buyer. Not properly finished packing and moving to smaller quarters, I knew I could call Jane and she would take care of the details and have a unit ready and waiting. Jane and Ed have been there every time with a friendly yet professional manner. I would recommend this facility everytime storage issues come up in conversation. Keep up the good work. I hope management knows what a good team you are.

New renters here! The process was really simple and Jane (the manager) was super helpful even before we signed up - she gave us a tour of the location and showed us many size options and answered all of our questions regarding the size constraints. We then checked the website daily and reserved the unit when the price was right. When we went back to officially sign up and reserve, despite the computer/printer not working, Jane and Jasmine took the time to thoroughly explain the agreement and bullet points so that there werent any surprises. Definitely recommend this place - great location, very clean and friendly staff!

This is a great storage unit. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Jane is friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgable. The entire staff at this facility is very courteous. I would recommend this location to anyone in need of a storage unit. The review above is from a year ago at the start of my rental. It is a year later, and I am still very happy with this facility. I am in and out of my unit on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day, and Jane always greets me with a smile and a hello. Jane is the epitome of professionalism, and I am thrilled to sing her praises.

Have been using this facility for about 20 years. Jane has been handling our accounts for all of those years. You cant beat customer service like hers. She is always pleasant and has a wonderful way about her. Jane is super helpful and very informative. You can tell that she takes her job seriously and cares about you as a customer. There have been a couple of times that our credit card expired. Jane calls to give us a friendly reminder that we need to update the card. I dont know what Public Storage would do without her as an employee!

My husband and I went looking for a storage facility. Public Storage in Garden City was the first and only one we needed to go after the service we received. The service was fantastic! Earl, the property manager was very helpful, personable, and knowledgeable. He went beyond my expectations. He even stayed past his work hours to ensure we got the exact unit we were looking for. The facility was clean, organized, and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for storage.

Jane was very helpful. We have been trying for months to sort some things out and move to a bigger unit, and her first day back she took charge and resolved the entire situation. One week later we were moving into a bigger unit and we were 100% satisfied because of her. Jane in AMAZING and truly an asset to your location. If it wasnt for her I probably would have moved items to another location. Thanks again Jane!!!!

Talked with Carolina / Jane. My questions about payment options were answered promptly and I was given the data I needed to do EFT from my bank instead of through their website. We now have the optimum storage unit for our situation and it took less than 2 minutes to complete both the transaction and the exchange of information. We are also happy with the climate controlled storage unit itself.
