I brought an $85 dress to get cleaned for the first time here, when I took it out of the bag when I got home I noticed that the color from the skirt part of the dress had bled all over the top part of the dress. I worked at a dry cleaners all throughout high school and continue to on breaks from college, and know that this would NEVER even go out of the cleaners looking this way. I brought the dress back and spoke with who I assume was the owner. I told him I knew exactly what had happened to the dress and all he could say to me was "Yes, youre right." Had no sympathy to the fact that I had just paid $13 to get the dress "cleaned" and am now out $85 for the dress, because it is not able to be fixed since it is a color dye. When I said the dress had been ruined there, he told me "we didnt ruin it." He told me to bring the dress back to the store I bought it at "because 100s of people have probably had the same problem." Needless to say, TERRIBLE customer service, and I am now out almost $100 between the cleaning and the cost of the dress. If this had been at the cleaners I work at, we would have first called the customer to let them know we were concerned that the color would bleed, and ask if they even wanted to take the risk before going any further. I got no phone call, there was no mention of the problem when I picked it up, either. NEVER going back here!!!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I will never go to this dry cleaners again. I have never been moved to write a review but after the terrible customer service I just received I feel a duty to let others know that this is not a place where you can trust the care of your items. They do not have the attention to detail which should be standard for a cleaning service. My clothes were FOLDED and CREASED, and I was told that it was my responsibility to request otherwise. Are you kidding me? Why would I want my newly dry cleaned sweater folded? They also put a linen outfit in the same bag next to my cashmere sweater. Lint all over the linen. Again, they told me I need to specifically request for them to be put in separate bags. What am I paying you for? This is all common sense...at least to MOST.

You may have seen the "Koats for Kids" sign in Angelos window around Thanksgiving time each year. People donate gently used winter jackets and coats; Angelos cleans them and donates them to local social services organizations. For many years, the Ulysses Christmas Bureau has been one of the local organizations benefiting from this wonderful program. We are able to offer these "Koats for Kids" to low-income families in the Trumansburg area during our annual distribution of toys, clothing, books and food. It is businesses like Angelos that make the Ithaca area such a special place. We thank them for their generous community spirit!

Ive had two silk neckties with food stains dry cleaned at Angelo on different occasions. With one tie, the stain was still faintly visible after cleaning. So they offered to clean it again, without additional charge, warning me that the tie might be hurt by repeated strong cleaning measures. But after the second cleaning, the tie looked great. With the second tie, the stain - which had been in the tie a long time - came out with one cleaning. Great service. Thank you, Angelo.

They told me to pick up my dry cleaning the next Saturday, somehow forgetting to tell me that the store would be CLOSED for that entire weekend. So, I made an entire morning out of walking down to the dry cleaning store from Ithaca College only to find they were closed. When I finally came to pick up my dry cleaning, they charged me $70 for hemming three pants and cleaning a suit, where most other places wouldnt go over $50. Total rip-off. Ill use Wegmans next time.

Angelos worked extra much to help me recover something Id ruined. Because what I wanted was different from what people usually request, I did have have to explain twice, a logical necessity. In addition to the indicator of the lack of chemical smell in the place, I originally trusted the business because they let their beloved old dog sleep behind the counter. Im moving away and will miss the small business appeal of Angelos.

First time I went there for shirt laundry it was fine. Next time my shirts werent as clean. Then I needed to dry clean and after the aervice found holes in 2 shirts that werent there before. Very disappointed. Its not worth the risk with these guys.

March 2014 - Kudos to Angelo Dry Cleaners - they were able to completely eliminate a quarter sized blue ink spot from the pocket edge of a cream colored cotton blazer. Great job - restored it to "like new" appearance.

Went in to get a stain out of a sports coat. The man took it into the back and five minutes later the stain was gone - no charge. Amazing customer service. Real, down-to-earth people. Wont go anywhere else!

Seven year old stain gone. He would have done it no charge but I wanted the garment refreshed. Have used Angelo for years and theyve always been great.
