I dropped a dress off here to be taken in and hemmed for a wedding. I took it in on a Wednesday and they told me it would be ready the following Monday after 3pm. Monday after work (5pm) i went to pick up the dress they told me they had not finished yet and I should come back the following day after 5pm.... The following day after work again I went to pick up the dress and when i walked in she could not find the dress. I waited for 15 minutes for her to find it in the same exact place it was when I dropped it off with the markings still on it and nothing done... With the wedding the following day i had no choice but to take the un touched dress and wear it pinned with a safety pin... I was and still am furious beyond belief... I wouldnt suggest going here if you are on a deadline or honestly at all... This is so unacceptable.

I have been a loyal customer for a number of years. Dry cleaning is timely but prices are a bit high. I had an experience where I brought in two panels of sheer curtains to be hemmed. Simple, straight cut and sew ( No dry cleaning included). I picked up the curtains and they had charged $50. I felt that this was ridiculous and sent an email to the team who then made an adjustment to my account for the correct pricing. I appreciate them making an effort to make it right.

Buyer beware- they stamp dress shirts with your last name into the collar which is entirely apparent when worn and tacky. I had to throw away the shirts I had cleaned here. They said that is their standard practice- stamping indelible ink into customers clothes, without permission. Discrete or not, this is a horrendous business practice and the mark is quite discernible through dress shirt cotton.

rip off - telling me once thing at dropp off and change price at pickup and of cousre seamstress dont speak english or do not recall conversation - charged me $10.00 for a pully on zipper (which i brought the orignal ) they just clipped it back on ( hard labor) i would have rather cut holes in it and put buttons on it - this was on a Duvet cover by the way - not going back there

I am not sure where "Businesswoman" had a name written on her collar, but it was NOT at Colvin Cleaners. We place a tiny bar code on each garment that is very discrete, which allows us to locate pieces by brand name and color. Absolutely nothing is written on our shirts.
