I was met by Bill Martini at Romeo Kia, in hopes to trade in a leased Kia Cadenza. Im a single father with a son in college and needed to reduce my expenses so that I may continue to help my son achieve his goals. Along with Chris Green, I was met with antiquated sales tactics that were a bit worrisome. The "what can we do to make this deal happen" commenced. Bill stumbled from the beginning with repetitive questions and inaccurate information. Chris came out of his office exchanging light hearted humor and handshakes, assuring he understood my dilemma and that this was the right deal. I took delivery of the car and close to two months later I received from Kia finance a outstanding balance of 3,404.89 for excess mileage on the Kia Cadenza. At no time during the negotiation or signing of papers was I made aware of these fees. Mileage was disclosed, appraisals were done. I have leased multiple cars from top brands, GMC, VW, and previously Kia. Never have I been a victim to such deceptive practice. I will not recommend Romeo Kia and for current owners read this as a cautionary tale of what Bill Martini blatantly told as the reason I owe the monies, and I quote, " You signed the deal". I m currently seeking alternate and legal for this matter. Day3- Day-3, I went down to the Event, which wasnt much of an event. I guess customers already know, Romeo and there misleading "Lets make a Deal Tactics " I was exercising my Freedom of speech, I was threatened that I will be sued. The amazing Kingston Police officers that showed up and protected my rights as an American, I want to thank you! Especially Officer Ryan, aces in my book. I will be at Romeo Kia, next Saturday, please please please come down and ask me questions and I will give you the facts. I suggested to Lucia Romeo that I should have brought my closing attorney and she agreed, after criticizing me for not being intelligent enough to read the contract that omitted the facts, Thanks for the tip! Update, After many failed attempts to reach a resolution, I was suprised by a comment made to my Facebook review by this guy. 1st Stupid question why did you post this Kia issue on Romeo Chev. Commercial Facebook page? 2nd stupid question dont you READ contracts like your 1st lease not knowing what your lease mileage should be when you terminate your lease? Who the hell did you think was going to pay that extra mileage? By James Cirulli- My response, 1st stupid answer- I want everyone who deals with Romeo businesses know about the deceitful and misleading sales practice that goes on. Im pretty sure it business wide, Ive read other reviews. 2nd stupid answer- Its funny that Lucia and other employees mention that I should read the contract. Blatant omission of facts that would have deterred me from buying the car was purposefully left out, so that a sales could be put on the board. To me, its lack of training, knowledge, courtesy and morally wrong. I made my case absolutely clear and they sought out opportunity. Stupid suggestion- Maybe the sales slogan should read, Come down to Romeo, read your contract! If not, Oh Well! Stupid last note- Anymore stupid questions you have, feel free to send them to me. Unless you have the authority to correct this, I suggest you keep you stupid questions to yourself. You can clearly see that Romeo and its employees are grossly inappropriate, untrained, and morally thwarted.

I am a month late with this review but i needed to make this. On November 3 I traveled to Romeo Kia in kingston for a check up on my 2013 kia rio. I originally purchased my rio there and i had a wonderful experience at the time for the purchase back on 6/28/2012. I came that day because i had been having issues with it {check engine],i first visited my local kia dealer Dutchess kia [please dont ever go there, they were rude and extremely inconvenient ] i decided to go back to my home shop for better service. Upon going Pj the mechanic supervisor assured me that things will be taken care the correct way. While waiting I looked over at the show room and i saw the car of my dreams at least in the kia world which is the Kia Soul. I was partnered up with Danielle Marshall, a wonderful consultant and all around great person. We got to talking and by the end of my experience I traded my Rio [ which PJ checked out for me and just said that my rio needed some electronic update and new tires. Pjs is an excellent employee as well if you have an issue with your car see him he is fantastic ] for a brand new 2015 kia soul. its been a month with my car and i absolutley love it. If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle head on up to Romeo Kia in Kingston and ask for Danielle and tell her i sent you :) I also wanted to quickly add that I could not take the car home that night but Danielle drove my new car to my job the next day which is about 45 minutes away. Which is to me the best customer service I had ever experienced .

I found the used 2014 Sorento online and began the sales process... the dealership was very responsive right from the get go. Then when I did come to the dealership to look at the car I was introduced to Chris and Joe. Joe Mazziotto ended up being our primary salesman and did a fine job. He took his time to show the vehicle amenities and spent the necessary time for me to understand the vehicle. I was pressed for time during my first visit and he did not try to push me into a sale I was not ready to make. Being in the sales industry (aircraft not cars) I am familiar with the sales process and it was a pleasure working with someone that was not trying to sell me something I did not want... it wasnt just a #s game for Joe... he took the time to be sure we had everything we needed to make a sound decision. There were a couple "hiccups" during the process which is to be expected.. but Joe and Romeo Kia did work thru things and in the end, we were able to come to an agreement on price and etc... The sales process took about a week but I am not an impulse buyer and tend to take my time on purchases of this nature. The delivery process was good too... my wife joined me to pick up the vehicle and she too was happy with the experience. Well done Joe and Romeo Kia.... there are good dealerships out there and Romeo Kia is one of them. Thank you

Recently my husband and I were in the market for a pre-owned car. Upon meeting Dominic Amantia at Romeo Kia in Kingston, NY, we experienced his kind, approachable manner. He offered detailed knowledge about the selection of cars we inquired about. In addition to his expertise, he was able to assess our needs and accommodate us. At no time did he try to divert our thinking to another type of vehicle. Dominic quickly moved us through the purchasing process and demonstrated impeccable follow up. On the day of purchase, Dominic sat with us to explain the details of the car. He showed genuine care and concern through the entire buying process. Our compliments also go out to the Kia staff. Joe showed great efficiency in handling the financial end and Phil Roeber worked with Dominic to order some new parts for our new pre-owned car without any difficulty. Dominic Amantia is a gem of a salesperson! If you want a caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable car salesperson, ask for Dominic Amantia at Romeo Kia of Kingston, NY. Our sales experience with Dominic is unparalleled to no other!
