Theres no way to give this any less than one star! If you want an honest opinion/statement about your vehicle or tires, NEVER go here. We should not have wasted our time after reading everyones previous reviews... My girlfriend and I took our car here after we discovered we had a flat tire. Being that it was a spare tire we just changed recently, we thought we would have them check both tires (the original one was flat also). We truly believed that it was just a nail or piece of glass. Both tires were fully functional for at least 24 hours after filling them up with air, so the leaks had to be extremely small. Our initial estimation was approximately 70 dollars when the shop manager explained that it would be 32 dollars per tire to fix. We went to an amazing Italian restaurant across the street and waited...for 45 minutes they did not touch the car. At 530 pm (they close at 6 on Saturdays) they took the car back. We got a call at 540 saying "the tires are unfixable" (Is that English?). The man said we would need two brand new tires and with labor and tax the price would come out to be about $270. We immediately figured we were being ripped off. I said to fill the spare up with air, put it on and well go somewhere else. When we went over to get the car, the one man said it was dangerous to drive being that there is sidewall damage. This was the reason for the other tire as well. Fortunately we were not charged- there is your one star! We drove to a little tire shop we had seen in passing on Tonelle avenue. Its called "Good Deal Tires". They saved us so much money!! When we pulled up, they immediately took the tire off- and DID NOT see any sidewall damage, but a little tiny nail in the tread... And we were going to get tires at Firestone? Yeah right. He put a plug in, filled it up with air, and checked the other tires. They charged 10 dollars for the plug. We also got a brand new tire to have as a back up just in case- only cost us 50 dollars! Thats a total of 60 dollars for so much more than what Firestone originally offered us! We gave the man a 10 dollar tip and our total was 70 dollars. The total time spent there? 15 minutes. It took Firestone almost an hour to see that our tires were "unfixable" and they were wrong. Thank God we found "Good Deal Tires". They saved us! We will never step foot into this Firestone again. Its a shame because we know other Firestone Tire shops that are really high quality and provide excellent service. Just not this one. Save your money and your time.

A NIGHTMARE where Freddy Kruger wont even go! Its like taking your money and setting it on fire for no reason! Let me tell you guys something, Ive lived in the area for many many years, and I have NEVER heard anything good about this place. Ever since I was in high school (98-01) I heard horror stories about this place. The people here will always try to sell you something that you dont need, theyll FIND something wrong with your car, and then theyll try to convince you that you need the work done to your car. I needed a simple tire plug. Since im somewhat "Mechanically Inclined" I took my tire off and found 1 tiny little hole. So I decided to set the record straight. Who knows, maybe things have changed by now. WRONG!!! I pull up, and actually roll the tire to the desk. I knew something was fishy, when the salesman is telling this female customer, which may I add, was by herself, that she needed a new tire since they found 3 nails in her tire! Not 1 or 2... 3!!! I was thinking, how on earth does someone get 3 nails in one tire, bad luck I thought to myself. Anyhow, since it was closing time, they asked if I could pick up the tire the following morning. I said sure, I noticed they charge about $21 and some change for a simple patch. I thought to myself, I guess they need to make money some how. This one mechanic comes out and starts to roll my tire into their little shop of horror, he stops and asked the salesman in Spanish if this was a new tire... Not for nothing, youre the mechanic, and yes it was less than a week old. I mustve caught a bad break in road and ran over a nail or something. Anyways, before the salesman could even answer him, I said yes its new. With being Italian, I understand a little spanish. The following day, I get the phone call that I need a new tire since they found 2 holes! Are you kidding me? Before I could say anything else, he said well take care of you itll be about $180+ the other charges... it came out to $217!! I said, give me my tire back. I gave the tire to my brother-in-law, who works at a VW dealership, he said someone defiantly made the other hole, theres no way in hell that this tire had 2 holes in it. Do yourself a favor, dont waste your time. The reason this place is still around, cause they feed off the weak. Dont be a victim!

They saved My Christmas what a team!!!!. It all started on my way down from connecticut to visit my Family for the holidays for a short weekend in Jersey. As I was crossing the GW Bridge into Jersey I noticed smoke coming from under the hood of my car and started to shake and lose power. I started to panic and Immediately pulled over. I called my dad and explained what had happened, He immediately got to finding a repair shop near me that would still be open as it was getting late on Christmas eve. He found Firestone in Fairview NJ. and arranged for a tow. The manager who was very professional promised my dad that they would do their best to get me back on the road and would wait for me as it was getting late. When I arrived the place looked closed , I was a little worried but much to my surprise the manager and two other guys were waiting for me. They immediately got to checking my car, they found an upper radiator hose that had ruptured . The manager himself drove to autozone which was still open and returned with a hose , They replaced my hose dried my ignition wires and had me back on the road in 1 hour. I was only charged 50 dollars for the tow , 39 for the hose and 52.50 labor to install it. What an Experience Thank You Firestone you saved my Christmas. I will for ever be a great full and Loyal customer!!!!!

Terrible experience. Ill explain in order... 1. Brought in tires for summer to winter swap 2. Guy calls me and says "whoever did this last didnt know what they were doing, so I have to break two studs." They were the ones who did it last.... 3. Finally get my car back (after two visits), get on the highway and my car rattled like crazy. My first thought was they didnt balance the wheels at all (which was kind of true, normally when you balance wheels you take off all existing weights and do it over, but in this instance I had weights all over the place inside the wheel). It was only on my return trip in the pouring rain that I realized what they did. I nearly lost control under heavy braking on one side of my car. These idiots put the tires on my right side backwards; against the direction of rotation. 4. Had to go back again and the technician tried to play it off as a minor thing, but that is a major liability. They did not offer me any discount. Doing a lazy job is one thing, but endangering my life is another. Never going back.
