The entire experience of buying a car here was ridiculous. The first guy I spoke with (whose name escapes me as I write this) was useless. I told him what I was looking for, he took my phone number, and I never heard from him again. Fast forward 3 weeks later and I walk in again, trying my luck again with someone new. First off, the woman at the counter – though courteous and bubbly when you walk in – was nasty, demeaning and insulting to everyone she came in contact with after she spoke to them, hung up the phone, or as the person walked away. She LOUDLY complained people are idiots, no one speaks English anymore, and many other insulting comments in the 5 minutes I was waiting for a new sales guy. Finally, Ron (the second sales man) comes over and introduces himself. We talk about what were looking for and what were willing to spend. I wont bore you with the walk-thru details – pretty standard. At least until it came time for the dance of the deal. Ron did all of the usual things like bringing the manager over to help close the deal, working on numbers, walking away, taking away some of the fees, walking away... it was pretty humorous, as this was completely expected. After we "danced" and signed the deal, we dealt with William (F&I) who was the only one at the dealership who seemed to have himself together. Ron had told us to bring the car back in on Monday to have his guy buff out some of the scratches. When I got there, he was off-putting and downright rude. Not sure if he had a bad day, someone crapped in his Cheerios, or something else. He even hung up on me when I called to check status (after being there for over an hour). Unfortunately, fast-forward almost three weeks and they finally get my new plates in for the vehicle – except they were wrong (because of something they filed improperly) and we received a commercial registration (which is what we needed) with regular/residential plates (not correct). After waiting nearly 45 minutes, the confirmed that I was correct and said they would have the issue corrected by early the following week. Raphee, the sales manager, and Ron, my sales guy, both apologized and I left. Now, 2 days before the temporary tags expire on the truck, still no plates. Rons not returning phone calls, Raphees told me that someone in his office screwed up again and the plates arent ready. He also told me not to worry about the plates expiring and keep driving on the temp tags – "...the police wont bother [me] for a few days past-due..." So, I still have no plates (30 days later) and Im not impressed by this place at all. Given the above issues, its not likely Ill be back here to purchase another vehicle from these guys. But lets be serious, most dealership experiences are terrible. Ive just been lucky enough to purchase two new vehicles in the past with GREAT experiences and walked away happy and respected – which is probably why those dealerships arent around anymore!

Terrible! I dont think to come back to that dealer never ever. You are in a middle of a game. You have to speak with 4 o 5 people and at the end no one is honest with you.

Steer clear of this place. Ive financed, sold, and leased cars and helped people get leases on cars. Usually havent had problems and dealt with straightforward individuals. This has to be THE WORST dealership Ive ever dealt with. From the second I walked in the door they were playing games. Not only did it take 3 hours for them to settle on the price of a corolla and process my paperwork (this was after three different times of them telling me they were offering me the lowest possible price) afterwards they kept trying to sell me a bunch of BS features and used scare tactics to try and get me into buying them. We FINALLY came to an agreement, met with the finance department, they signed off on the lease agreement, I signed off and went on my merry way with a car for my brother. Then they call us back in two weeks later to pick up the license plates. After making us wait an hour in the dealership, they ask us to step into a backroom and their finance guy then tries to renegotiate monthly payment for a higher rate after signing off on our original price. Scumbags. Scumbags. Scumbags through and through. Then after leaving the dealership with the car to go and check the lease agreement to see if it was a "conditional" one as they claimed, me and my legal advisor saw no mention of that in the contract. The dealership has the nerve to call my brother up and say that theyre going to press charges and I need to bring the car back immediately and sign over the car to them. Their General Manager called back and apologized and asked we bring the car in on Monday (all this drama occurred on a Saturday) to "settle" the matter. I will never buy from here again. They have also reportedly lied about having cars in inventory just to bring you in. Theyre a high-volume dealer and treat customers like absolute poop. I wish I could give them zero stars. Ive contacted the Better Business Bureau and several automotive journalists about them. Ive never ever heard of a dealer trying to wiggle themselves out of a lease just because they didnt like the number one of their salesmen settled on. If theyre not making money on the car or are losing money then thats their tough luck, they shouldve never signed the lease agreement. Its a two way street.

I would give this place half a star if possible! Not only was our salesperson wearing his suit from the night before from staying up all night. Our process took over 8hours because he was so slow secondary to his sleep deprivation and nightlong partying. That was forgivable, but definitely shows a lack of professionalism. But it doesnt stop there, apparently they did not complete the contract correctly, so they tried to rush us to return to the dealership to sign a new contract all while stating that no new terms had changed. They would not divulge any information in regards what was wrong with the first contract that a new second contract needed to be signed. When I asked our salesperson why we needed to return, to inquire about what details were not being discussed with us, he then proceeded to make a SEXIST remark asking me not to "Challenge" him. Like that wasnt enough to infuriate a consumer, to add salt to the wound, we have now found out that our trade in, which was supposed to be paid off months ago, was never completely paid off. Why you ask??? The pay off amount was paid two days late, and now there is a balance due secondary to a late payment, accrued late and finance fees. To add insult to injury, this ridiculous, sad excuse for a company is now refusing to pay the balance due that has accrued only because of Toyotas lack of discretion. These late fees and charges would have been avoided if they had paid the payoff within the 10 day payoff timeframe. Or had someone bothered to do their job correctly and inquire about a new payoff amount knowing the payment was going to be late, this would not be an issue. Toyota has exhibited unprofessionalism, sexism, broke contract and they are now breaking the law, specifically the NJ Consumer Fraud Act. They are trying to hold us responsible for an active balance that should have been paid off by their company per our signed contract. No consumer should have to deal with this amount of unprofessionalism, sexism, and unethical behavior. Shame on you Toyota!
