Wow, you called me out! My only regret is that I didnt see this right after it was posted. Its clear that mlittier610 is affiliated with this rat hole of a business to some degree. True, I am the person mentioned by name below and yes, I did bring a wedding gown in to be preserved. Ill even admit to inquiring about a discount after my bad experience. The fact that I didnt get a discount had nothing to do with my negative review. It was the fact that I was treated so poorly and that when I spoke to the owner about it, he could care less. If I got the sour grapes from the title of that review on my shirt you’d better believe I wouldn’t trust this place, they’d probably just lose the shirt or something. ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW: I recommend Millpond Cleaners if you would like to be treated poorly, have them forget about your dry cleaning, give you different etas each time you call and finally have your dry cleaning ready after a 3rd phone call and 10 weeks of waiting. Did I mention that the owner is a creep? Well, he is and really did not appear to be phased when I calmly and politely explained why I was unhappy and that one of his employees was rude to me on the phone. Overall, Id say that this place is the worst and I would have been better off throwing my clothes in the pond across the street and then picking them up after they went over the waterfall on the other side.

I dropped off my husbands suit and a jacket I needed for same day service at around 7:30am as was told it would be ready at 3pm. We needed the clothes for an important event the following day so after 3pm would ensure that we had it for the following day. My husband went there around 6pm to pick up the clothes and the employee had found it in a bin untouched. He said it hasnt been laundered and they could text the following morning IF it was able to be done that early. I called from work about 30 minutes later but was only able to leave a message, which I did. I called the business number (seems to be a cell phone voicemail) a second time during the week but same result, i was only able to leave a message. Needless to say, it has been a week with no call back from either of my phone calls. Not even a simple courtesy call to inform the clothing is ready or even an apology. I will remove this review of they can resolve, but nothing as if yet. Im really disappointed and hope they can make it right.

Every time I go to this dry cleaner I am treated rudely. That is a fact. I am a real person, not some competitor. Take that as you will. And the other thing - for the love of God, stop with the environmentalist propaganda! The government is going to crash the economy with the cap-and-trade scam, along with the EPA mafia, and businesses are going along for the ride like a bunch of lemmings! Look morons, we are a capitalist economy. If you want to experience life in a command economy, hang a "Going out of Business" sign on your front door. I understand that it may not be your intention to spread propaganda, and that it is just marketing, but it is not smart business in the long run.

I have been using Mill Pond Cleaners for more than 20 years. I have always enjoyed great service and I have never had to bring anything back. Even living in NJ now, I still go to Mill Pond for my dry-cleaning needs. I had an old wedding gown preserved and they did such a fantastic job that it lasted through 5 moves and 6 years in a storage locker. I would recommend Mill Pond to anyone looking for a Clearer.

I dropped off a suit and 2 jackets on Saturday. I unexpectedly needed the suit cleaned on Monday for a funeral. The woman who helped me was so sweet and made sure I was able to pick up what I dropped off an extra day early (they were going to be ready on Tuesday). She was so helpful. I will never use anyone else after this. What great service and wonderful customer service!

The owner Steven Maurer is an alcoholic irresponsible drunk who could care less about the quality of work done at his business. He treats his employees poorly, drinks on the job and has an obvious anger issue. Use this place if you want your clothes ruined or lost or not even cleaned all together. This place is a joke go anywhere else but here.
