October of 2013 I rented a storage space at the Mount Vernon Public Storage at 60 E Kingsbridge Rd. Mr DeVonn was the employee who assisted me that day. His behavior was so welcoming, he was extremely courteous and very pleasant. Upon the completion of my transaction that day he asked me how was his customer services. Of Course, I told him that it was excellent. he then asked if I could put it in a review on the website and I surely did. Well today, I just wanted to establish that these courteous behaviors by two of the employees there, MR Devon, and Mr Stanley who claim he is the manager were just so fake. Once you are no longer a new customer they have no respect for you, especially Stanley the manager who should be setting an example for the other employees. On the Saturday the 1st of March I went the office to inquire about the protocol when someone wants to move after the first of the month. Stanley stated, "If you move by the 6th of the month you will only be charged a prorate, which means you will only be charged for a portion of the rent. But if you move after the 6th of the month, you will be charged for the entire month. The following Thursday which was the 6th of the month I called the office and asked Stanley what was the latest time I can be at the storage ? He told me I have up until 9pm. On the 6th I moved everything out of the storage.

I do not have anything in Storage, however I stop by there to get a box and some items to mail something out through FedEx. Though I have passed by this storage several times over the years, this was my first time stepping inside. I have to tell you that I was so impress with their customer service and their pleasant attitudes. The young lady that helped me (Margaux) was so wonderful. From the tiime she came over to assist me, to the time I left, she was able to work with me and get me everything that I needed, and even helped me carry some of my things out to my car. She was a pleasure, and if I needed to put something in storage, her pleasant attitude would convince me to do it there. Good Job :)

All i can say is Why? Why do you only have one person working at this location. All day one employee and no bathroom for her to use. On Sunday I went to conduct a storage transaction and the enployee Margaux who by the was so pleasant. This actually was my second time coming there to do the same thing and she also was alone. Arrived at 2pm and because she had so many people ahead of me I suggested that I would come back within hour. But before i suggested it she had to use the restroom and had to tell the already angry customers that she needed to use the restroom and had to get in her car and drive to another establishment, smh

My wife and i have been a public storage customer for a few months now. The staff there have always been courteous and kind to both my wife and i. The staff are always willing to answer any questions or concerns we may have. Also the reminder calls that we receive Informing us when the rent is due are very helpful. Thank you Stanley and Jasmine and the other staff members for the wonderful customer service. keep up the good work! We appreciate it.

I think the persons are nice, and you can go early, and the gate closes at 9pm but its a Big time ripoff! The unit we have which is very small, went from $169 dollars to over $200 dollars for what!? Small space, dust, smell, and big cockroaches! Yuck! Cmon with all those units do you really need to jack up the price!? Shame on you, it should be bigger and better. But like everything in New York smaller but more money!!! Greedy, Greedy, Greedy.

I desperately needed a box to send off a gift in.I frantically ran into public storage and met a lovely a customer service rep that was so professional and helpful .Even though it was a small purchase her effervescence and charming personality maze this experience an enjoyable and rather inexpensive one. Five this young lady a raise and or a promotion. You have a gem working with the public which is rare. Kudos to Jasmine.

I went to this facility because the furniture company wanted to charge me $25/day to hold my furniture because the apartment wasnt ready as yet. Crystal was pleasant, well mannered and very friendly. She had a smile the entire time. The pricing was way better than what the furniture store was charging, and they had everything from lock to insurance ready for me. Thanks again Crystal, we need more people like you.

For my first time renting a storage unit, I was hesitant. However, Karina was beyond helpful and willing to be as accommodating as possible. She was highly professional and knowledgeable to all questions that I presented. After showing me around the storage site to get a better feel of what was suitable to my liking, Karina definitely made me feel at ease. I would recommend this location to friends and others.

I came to rent a storage Unit and the person who helped was Tashana. She greeted me with a smile . You dont see that often. She was very patient and made sure I left out of there knowing that my belongs would be safe. The building was nice and clean. I honestly had no complaints. I was very please on how professional Tashana and her Co worker Margaux was. Great girls and I definitely give 5 stars!

i recently rented a 5x5 storage unit...and with the help of Miss Lisa it was so easy...She answeres all my questions professionally and with a huge smile. After speaking with her my choice with public storage was simple. Being a first time user of storage units it took no time to make my decision.If ever i was to use storage units again i would love to be assisted by someone like Miss Lissa....

I have never rented a storage unit before and didnt know what to expect. The employees Camille and Kelly of Public Storage in Mount Vernon, NY were very helpful. They walked me around to show me which unit would be more beneficial to fit my needs at the best affordable price. I really recommend this place on service alone. Only down side is they do not have temperature controlled units.

My family and I have had this storage quite sometime. I didnt hesitate when Tashana asked me to write a review. This place is always clean and the girls are extremely friendly. Always positive energy when you walk into the office. I would recommend anyone to store here . Thanks Tashana and Margaux for always making my Mom feel comfortable when she comes down here. You girls are awesome !!

Ive been searching for a storage place and it became stressful trying to find something affordable yet clean. After searching around I found myself at public storage, not only was it clean but the staff was great. Stanley answered all of my questions and was very helpful. The customer service was great and was more then I expected. I reccomend public storage to all of my friends.
