I opened the storage unit with the best of intentions, and Rich and Kelli, were more than happy to accommodate all of my needs. Family problems and health issues arose and I found myself falling behind in my payments from month to month. They would call me to let me know that my payment was due, or that a late fee was being applied. They would just leave one message, not bombard me will calls. I feel they have gone out of their way to keep me a happy customer, despite my last few months of being behind in payments...and lets face it...in this day and age we need others to understand us and work with us in these tough times, most of all the people we do business with on a regular basis. Some folks arent "people persons" and have no business being in retail sales. We see them all day long...you walk into a store and they are chatting it up or texting it up...and they make you feel like YOU are inconveniencing THEM because you interrupted their text or conversation. I find Richard and Kelli both very much down to earth and they do their job with retail savvy. I speak with them as friends and they know that I care about what I have in storage but also the reasons why I had fallen behind in my payments. Besides that, the hours of access are great and none of my valuables like music equipment, antique china, glassware and artwork were affected by the winter in my climate controlled unit. I am very happy to have them holding my personals and super pleased with their understanding of my personal situation which in almost all places would have made me a less than desirable customer. It didnt go as well with my landlord, insurance company, phone or utilities....thats why they get 5 stars. Stop in and see Kelli or Richard if you have storage needs...Im sure they will take care of you as well as they did me. p.j.j.

I have never had such a GREAT experience as I have had with this storage facility. They are simply the best! The facility itself is secure, extremely clean, conveniently located, and the best buy for the money. Rich and Kelly are always there (every time I go), with a friendly attitude and smile. They really like their job and it shows. They always try to be helpful and accommodating. I live in Texas part of the year and I was concerned about leaving things for long periods of time, but I got lucky when I found this place. If you need storage for your belongings, dont bother to look any further. (I am surprised they even have vacancies for as great as they are.) I have had some bad experiences with other facilities in other states and locations. But Extra Space Storage, Kelly and Rich, set the bar so high it would be a hard act to follow. If I could have given them 10 stars I would have. I cant imagine anyone giving them less than 5 stars, so if you happen to see one, ignore it. Bottom line they are the best.

Came to this facility on the recommendation of a friend. Its been one issue after another beginning with the unit I was given. The ceiling was falling down and prior to my move had not been repaired. Even then it was done quite shabbily. No other size unit in that situation so I had no choice. Could not speak to District Manager on that day, rather they were not wanting me to put me in direct contact with him and weeks later when I finally did he could not do much besides offer another. They seem really inflexible and unwilling or even capable of finding a compromise. Upon inspection of my outdoor unit there was a lot of moisture and wetness not only on the floor but o several of my belongings. Boxes wet, items wet. I immediately spoke to the manager on site who took photos but did nothing else. Called the district manager and left a message no response. The people who work at the facility are not but slow to problem solve. Ive stored in the past and have never had an issue. I am seeking a new facility.

Have to say that I had searched for like 2 months for a storage unit 10x10 climate control all over upstate every one I had called said they had nothing available n were not even willing to put us in a waiting list n call us if one came available. I was giving up. Then my husband called a few places n found you guys. From the get go our experience with extra space storage was fantastic. Since we live on Long Island n it would have been hard to get a unit then have to drive up to sign papers. U guys made it so easy by letting us sign papers at ur Long Island location. Then when we needed another unit. U gust were so helpful n had one available. I cant say anymore bout how great u guys are. Thank u so much for everything. We promise to refer u to all our friends. I have never been treated so badly by a company for which I am a valued repeat customer. Their current strong-arm tactics of raising my monthly fee by a whopping 15 percent after only 6 months is totally unacceptable. In addition, the rate was increased without notice, since their notices are NOT forwarded, but of course most customers who have storage units will need to have their notices forwarded. I will never, ever use or recommend this company again, and will be removing my belongings from their facility as soon as possible. BUYER BEWARE OF EXTRA SPACE STORAGE.

I have been a customer of extra space storage in Saugerties for close to 10 years and I am writing to express my thanks for what a professional and courteous job they do. Rich, the manager has taken great care of my account and has always gone the extra mile to keep things running smoothly. He has always dealt with me with patience and kindness-- when my card got lost and did not process because of a new card number etc. he could not have been more pleasant. A nice guy-- and his staff have also been patient and professional. I rate this location a 5 out of 5.

Rented here for a few months before closing on a home and my Wife and I were very happy with the facility and management. Rich and Kelly are very helpful and made our rental very easy. The unit was clean, had a light in it, and a nice size cart, which they provide, was always nearby to use. I deal with a number of storage facilities and this particular one is on my top list of recommendations. Payment was made to be very simple as well, we used an auto pay plan and never had an issue. 5stars!

I have been a customer of this facility since 2003. I have always found the staff very helpful and friendly. There has never been a problem with access as a result of weather. the lot has always been cleared. I feel that my belongings are secure and in fact have two units at the site one of them is climate controlled. I chose this location for its close location to my home and easy access.

We had such a positive experience working with the Saugerties Extra Space location. For the 1.5 years that we had to store our belongings, both Richard and Kelli were professional, courteous, and flexible to help accommodate our needs. While I hope that I never need a storage unit again, I sure wouldnt hesitate to return to this location if needed. Thanks for such a positive experience.
